Pros: Ability to have expenses uploaded directly from phone app to application. OCR technology does not seem to recognize anything and we have to manually enter every time but that does not take a lot of time. Love the email function that allows you to email receipts directly to application.

Cons: OCR is not fully working. Still trying to get the PER DIEM rates from GSA fully implemented to allow users to automatically fill them in.

Overall: The ability to have users submit expense reports and reduce the manual process of copying receipts and inputting the information twice

Streamlines expense reporting & approval, especially submitting receipts!

Pros: I love the way I can use the mobile app to build my whole report, snapping photos of the receipts with my phone as I enter each one. MUCH quicker than our old process, which involved tape and a photocopier...

Cons: The mobile app, at least on Android, currently has a glitch where it crashes if I try to backdate an expense. They're working on it, but it's a little irritating to need to log on to the desktop app to fix the dates, rather than just submitting from my phone. I've never gotten the hang of emailing receipts in to attach because the mobile app is so much easier!

Overall: Very convenient for submitting expense reports, and I get an email for each submission & approval that lets me know where it is in the workflow. Even with the flaws, I'm very happy with it!

Great sales, set-up, deployment, and service.

Pros: No pressure sales and discount for non-profit orgs. Product met all of our needs, and has additional options available. Deployment was easy and support was phenomenal! Service has been very responsive to questions both via email and toll-free number.

Cons: While service is excellent, I would love to see a few more examples in the online manuals/help, including more detail.

It is a great function for our external employees.

Pros: It is easy to quickly compose an expense report and move it through the approval process. The setup of expense categories is extremely user friendly.

Cons: Sometimes the set up or location of various items can be confusing. I am still having to export and manually manipulate data into a form I can use.

Good platform but need to integrate with a basic CRM function. Customer support is sometimes slow

Pros: The phone app is great. I like the ability to email receipts. Once everything is in place, it is very easy to upload into QuickBooks.

Cons: Credit cards are a bit of a challenge, particularly for transactions paid for in advance. Additionally, there are some challenges trying to change expense categories. Often transactions must be deleted and then re-entered.

Simple setup and Admin. Easy to pay and process.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to add implement. Mobile app works well. Easy to get Direct deposit set up, integrate with QB online and add chart of accounts. Approval process is very clean and setting up hierarchy is easy as well. Receipt viewer works well.

Cons: Missing a few small features I would like. Projects codes on the front screen would be great since we do a lot of billable projects. Would like to be able to mark a report as billed easily.
Receipt capture needs to be improved as it doesn't get much right. Quickbooks integration lacks ability to set the posting date in the system. Need to manually go in and change posting period in QB.

Overall: save time and money

Comments: I've been using Suti for a few months now with my company - I use it not only to do my own expense reports but am a delegate for the executive team. Any time I ever have an issue I've gotten in touch with Kirsten - she is incredibly helpful, kind and patient. I seriously don't know what I'd do without her :)

Comments: Overall the software was very user friendly to bother users & admin. However, there are unexpected changes to the setting occasionally in which the Admin did not change. It could possibly be an update to the version, however, it disrupts normal usage. The admin has to go into the account and change the settings back.

Comments: Before we implemented SutiExpense we had a very manual process. Since we have started using SutiExpense our lives have been seamlessly pleasant. The setup process took no time, the platform is very user-friendly, and the approval flow process is great. We have saved so much time on this function within the organization.

Pros: General ease of use; Intuitive nature of product (both Mobile and Web based); Amazing support; Automation of our Firms Expense reporting and Reimbursement work flow.

Cons: Image capture makes turns each receipt into an individual page; which can be cumbersome with 20+ expense line items. Ability to merge receipts into a single page for print out (or in our case billing) would be a huge bonus (let me know if I just missed that part of the tutorial :)).

Overall: Support has been exemplary. Any small issues encountered during our implementation were resolved within 1 business day; and assistance was clear and concise.

The Software was easy to roll out to our team; with most staff able to self teach given how intuitive the platform is. The generic training videos are also a great tool; and the virtual training we received was terrific in walking through all the specifics.

Recommendations to other buyers: Best option and value our firm could find after months of research and demos. Great implementation experience, and customization of the platform and reports to meet our specific needs was superb.

Pros: We can code everything clearly and consistently, and we are able to review and reconcile credit card transactions a lot faster. This software has been very helpful to our Accounting Dept.

Cons: I wish we could customize the format of the reports to include the content that we need

Overall: Very positive experience. In terms of functionality, this software is a big upgrade compared to the software that we were using previously.

Comments: Overall- sutiexpense is great. There are a few things I am not crazy about. Sometimes when we import transactions from our corporate cards it records a transaction twice with two different names, but the same amount. I don't like how you can't remove an employee that is not longer with the company, you can only "expire" them. It would be better if you could hide the inactive employees/project codes.

My experience with Suti has been very satisfactory and stress free.

Comments: Flexibility to accommodate business specific requirements; internalize organisational policies into the software and ability to quickly turnaround the requirements by making the necessary changes to the Software help. Mobile application specifically suited to the customised environment has been really appreciated.

Pros: Not much. It's a waste of time. The app is faulty so it takes forever to submit a simple report that should take 5 mins or less. The concept is great. Execution is not great and it ends up costing more time instead of saving time.

Cons: How it takes me an hour to submit a simple expense report because it keeps shutting down every time I try to save a submission.;

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't use it. Just frustrates people and wastes time.

SutiExpense has been a great tool and easy to use for our employees.

Comments: We decided on SutiSoft based on the ease of set-up and cost. It has more features than we are using right now, but with the mobile app our Sales Team is getting their expense reports to the accounting department on time for the first time in the companies history. We can see receipts right away and no longer have to file the paper copies, making going green a lot easier. So far we are very happy with our decision.

Comments: I am a very satisfied SutiExpense customer. I am a Finance Director for two companies who have been using SutiExpense for one year. The system is easy to use, intuitive and highly customizable. Our end users are very happy with it, as well as our finance/audit team. We are also very satisfied with the customer support we have received from the Suti support team. On the rare occasion that an issue arises, they are quick to respond.

Pros: I like the ease of use, the easy customization, the ability to handle Canadian taxes, that it's web-based, the digital expenses import, and the credit card transaction import.

Cons: Sometimes, the website is slow, and I get complaints from users.

Pros: We vetted 6 providers before deciding to use SutiExpense.
Suti support was a great project management assistance throughout implementation. They required weekly online meetings to keep the implementation moving forward with tasks assigned and reviewed each meeting. It was thorough and successful.
Since service implementation, our users have found it to be easy to use overall.
Besides the ease of implementation and user reaction, the other major plus has been the responsiveness of the support and programming staff. We have made numerous requests to make the service easier for our users and more effective for our cost controls. Almost every request has been incorporated. The end result has been a great addition to our system and a project that our IT department was commended for initiating and completing.

Cons: We literally had over a 100 requests for tweaks to their system / software service. These were items that are particular to our industry needs. To date, less than 6 could not be implemented in the current architecture. So we have no "cons" to list.

Overall: Highly recommend

Overall: SutiExpense has worked very well for us since our implementation over a year ago. The people at SutiSoft have always been very helpful and we appreciate the relationship.
