It's so easy to use and learn, everything is right there for you. Everyone has an easy time using it. The billing goes smoothly. If you need them, customer service is fantastic! Highly recommend. Pros I changed to this software mostly because they had an actual number you could call for tech support. I am a therapist and I have little time between clients, am not a tech savvy person, and have lots to think about, so it was very difficult to ask a question by chat and wait 2 or 3 days for an answer that might or might not apply. Also the software we were using kept upping the cost and this was more supportive plus less expensive. After I began the free trial, I found the note set-up was more helpful and it was easier to complete my notes in each session without taking away from the session. This saved me about 2-3 hours a day and an releaved a tremendous amount of stress. A new feature of this software is accountability and it will not let you submit a claim until your notes are complete. This has been helpful with reminders and a to-do list to keep me on track. My assistant loves the ease of billing! Cons Payor set up was a little challenging. We needed more explanation. It is user friendly and meets all of my professional needs. Pros Therapy Notes, LLC provided a real live person for me to speak to and receive much needed help as launched my private practice and onboarded this program. Its competitor offered videos instead. Maybe more of a tutorial on how to use it would be helpful. I have found it rather easy but some of my therapists have struggled at first then have loved it. Spectacular customer service! Pros I have been using Therapy Notes since I started my practice in 2012, and have nothing but terrific things to say about them. They are responsive, helpful and ahead of the curve for the counseling industry. They listen to my suggestions for future application tools, have great customer service, and are all around top notch! I had previewed some other software, and for me, hands down, this is the one! Pros I love how user friendly the software is. However, sometimes in my profession, things are unusual or complication. TherapyNotes customer service is the BEST! I never have to worry - they are quick, efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable, no matter how many times I have to ask the same thing :) Cons Literally, nothing. Ok, maybe I wish the columns of the report on the main page of the billing section were customizable. But I can customize a report that does the same thing! " March 21, 2020 5.0 Pros I cannot say enough wonderful things about this program! It definitely is worth the money, it cost me for 1/month less than what I would have to pay someone for 2 days to do what this program does for my practice. Scheduling, cancel, reschedule, request appointment, billing, ERA process, verify eligibility, text and email reminders, templates for all note taking requirements, and it organizes each clients file, sends reminders to the clinicians to keep up to date notes and any out dated material. The list goes on.... Most importantly, when ever I was lost or confused by a feature/tech issue, the tech support is quick and knowledgable. They are always so helpful! This program has streamlined my practice, I am a single owner in private practice and I do not have a need for receptionist or a biller! Get this today!!!! When I started my own company, I knew I wanted therapy notes to be the system I used. It’s an easy system to learn and helps me stay organized. Makes billing easy and so are the note templates. Telehealth has worked efficiently and simple for my clients to log in. Pros I most appreciate the customer service team. Every person I have spoken with have been amazingly helpful. I did like their tech support, but now they have pretty much discontinued it and I am currently locked out of my platform and cannot bill or chart or anything I need to do, and I am #18 in line for tech support. With therapynotes, there is no concern what so ever when I am billing. once notes are in. Billing is a breeze. Pros I highly recommend TherapyNotes as your source of EHR. It is an intuitive software that is dependable. Tech support is great. They are patience and walk their customers through challenges. If you call during after hours and leave a message, tech support return your call immediately during their business hours. The software is amazingly easy to operate. Billing is amazing. Just a click of the button. I like everything about Therapy Notes. Their credit card payment system for my clients are first class. This makes accepting payment quick and easy. Cons If I could change anything about the software, I would change the information on the intake application. I love the different colors on the schedule for each of the therapists I work with, making it easy to see who is seeing clients and who is free. Pros TherapyNotes has been a blessing for me while documenting on clients. The autofill options in the client’s charts and progress notes saves me so much time while writing. TherapyNotes is easy to use all around and I was able to learn the full program in about 10 minutes. Cons There has been issues with the audio when clients use an iPhone to connect to telehealth sessions. The video quality has been pretty good, so the audio is my only complaint. We would not have been able to bill our insurance agencies so efficiently and receive payments without Therapy Notes. Pros I like the customer support. I watched a training video and took notes, but I could not have started the billing process without Therapy Notes. Whenever I got stuck they were there to help with step by step instructions - given slowly if necessary. They immediately send an email that recounts what was said. The thing I really like is that the help support team have all been very friendly and understanding. Cons There is a lot of information to remember. I have to keep looking back at the emails as there are a lot of steps to involved in various processes. I'm sure I'll get better at using the site with time; I am just beginning. While the program doesn't just chart for us, it does help to make it as easy as possible. For clinicians, notes are the bane of our existence, and TherapyNotes helps! It's intuitive, clear, and adjustable. The customer service is amazing and never makes you feel dumb. I also like how it's available on a webpage, allowing you to use it on a phone, tablet, or computer. Great product. Pros My pros for Therapynotes are: user-friendly for staff and clinicians; different degrees of accessibility for users as set up by the administrator; most of the office's working can be assess in Therapynotes (such as patient reminders, different levels of accounting, and patient files); good availability to the company for support which has been friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt; easy insurance billing, quick and efficient remit processing, easy entry and manageability of insurance companies, CPT codes, and other billing codes; patient progress notes are in a usable and a nicely tailored format for mental health usage, and diagnoses are generated when you begin to type it in versus having to know the ICD 10 codes. Cons My cons are: would like a better querying system or means of searching patient information quickly and easily, sometimes the system runs slowly or seemingly gets bogged down for several hours. I could see myself one day using this program exclusively for billing and scheduling if I was working independently. Security measures are tight and have had no problems so far. Pros The user interface is so much cleaner than other outdated programs I've used at other practices. Finding every menu page is intuitive and the load times are fast. I also like that clients can submit requests and questions through this app directly and securely to the clinician instead of having to go through voice messages or email. Cons It's taken a little time to get used to and since there are so many programs included with it, it's difficult to sync it with outside programs. Some repetitiveness happens there.
