I loved that all I had to do was click on the time that I wanted to give the medication. The Health Log was great too. I could easily go back and check on campers and add an addendum if needed. I couldn't have run the registration process without him (this was my first year using CampDoc.com)! I called him all the time! He ALWAYS responded so quickly and accurately! September 8, 2016 5.0 CampDoc.com was a very positive experience this summer. I have never used it before but I hope to get to use it again at a future camp I work at. I enjoyed the health log to see how often campers came in and the eMAR to see exactly what meds campers got and when. October 20, 2016 5.0 CampDoc.com greatly improved accuracy, tendency for human error, and saved time on having to check everything by hand. It also saved on the expense of making copies. Our parents told us they felt CampDoc.com was easy to use, straightforward, that it was nice not to have to deal with paper. They felt that their child's information was secure and that they didn't have to take the initiative themselves to figure out if they were missing any items or not as CampDoc.com would tell them and send reminder emails. The reminders that I thought would be annoying actually proved helpful to the parents/guardians as they would say in their busy lives that they would forget and put the forms on a mental to-do list but then forget. The emails reminded them that they still had an obligation to us to finish the forms and were thankful for that. Review Source MZ Monique Z. Customer support was there the entire process and help us in every step. Pros We have over 1500 kids that attend camp and this so far has been the best program not just for administrators but parents as well. All information is in one place so it is easy to track and make changes f needed. Cons Cost was a factor but we felt that the simplicity and use made it easier that it paid for it at the end. now our admin staff can focus on other things. Review Source ED Eric D. I've had to fill out many of these through BSA, and this one was always the most simple. Cons Some of the required fields always seemed a little strange. Used the software for: ### "Was key when we had a medical emergency with one of our asthmatic campers!" October 18, 2016 5.0 The registration process for our camp became a lot simpler than it had been in the past and ran pretty much independently. We were able to take a step back from registration and focus on other areas of the camp. The ability to put size limits on each group was very helpful and prevented over-enrollment which had been a problem with the system we used last year that needed constant monitoring. The system made compliance of health inspection guidelines a lot easier as well. While our camper was having a severe asthma attack, I was able to quickly pull up her medical records to tell the EMT if she had any allergies. Review Source BB Blaire B. He was extremely patient and kind and answered all our questions- even when we had to ask the same question multiple times because we didn't understand! It has cut down on the amount of paper we use and need to store, as well as making it easier for our parents to maintain the health records of their children. Being able to email parents directly from the program to inform them of infirmary visits saved our nurses so much time and keeps records of all contact as well. The customer support that I have received has been stellar! I was able to speak to the same person every time I had a question. They also have a dedicated help desk that can be used as well. October 17, 2016 5.0 In the past, during the 2 weeks leading up to camp I would have to organize, three-hole punch and review all the health forms for completion. This was often a daunting task and would take me a few weeks to complete. With CampDoc.com, now I know instantly who and what information was missing. During the camp season, I no longer have to notify parents of missing information as they were able to figure that out themselves. I had instant access to the health logs and was able to view real time in case a parent called about their camper and I was not in the camp office. Review Source AH Andrew H. October 26, 2016 5.0 With CampDoc.com our check-In process was streamlined and spread out to help parents and campers not stand in line all afternoon, not having to enter information into Quickbooks individually for our office saved hours upon hours. Health care and triage was a huge boost for our camp nurse, printing health profiles in the case of an emergency was quick and simple, printing reports for health, check-in, and balance information gave us at least an entire day's worth of work back to take care of other items during our final prep days before summer started! Registrar Used the software for: ### "A fabulous program!!!" October 19, 2015 5.0 There are so many things that CampDoc.com does so well! I think a couple of things that really stand out are the support that they provide. Any time we need them they are right there. They also allow our nurses to practice in a safer way. We have all the medical info we need at our fingertips. We love the Medication Administration Record (MAR), and being able to pre-populate all of our information ahead of time.
