Pros This is an interesting software, I am currently familiarizing myself with it, there are lots of different information modules available to use, tons of charting, sales, ETC. Cons My least favorite thing about DOMO is simply trying to figure everything out. There's a ton of information to utilize and I haven't used it enough to mater it at this time. Pros The software is easily configurable. Extremely powerful toolset giving us the ability to quickly create cards and expose areas in a real time way that either present challenges or need immediate attention. It's extremely helpful and being able to see everything that I need to do without having to switch back and forth from one program to another or download many sources of data to excel to analyze them together. I was able to use SQL to normalize job titles to help get an idea of conversion by title. That's just a small slice of what we're trying to do. Pros How easy it is to get data into the tool. They have some quick easy reports to display which work well for many of your social platforms. Syncing our Marketo instance was easy how things are customize you can get some value out of the pre-built reports but things need to be fine tuned. Also the objects are easy to choose and sync. combining data is easy. building custom fields is pretty easy. I haven't used SQL in some time and i was able to easily build IF Then formulas. Cons I do wish each data set could sync more values over. But you can join then in the system. Dashboard layout could use a face lift. Review Source RF Richard F. Pros Domo helped us move away from manually compiling reports from various sources and made it a one point solution. Cons The baby boomers at my company do not trust this "internet stuff" so adoption has been slow. However they are finally coming around thanks to the power of Domo. I will not be using this software anytime soon. Pros I honestly do not have many postive things to say about this product. I tested this product on a trial basis recently to see if it was a viable solution to replace our dependency on tableau, but it did not live up to my expectations. The one thing I do like about this product vs. tableau is that it is much cheaper. Cons In comparison to tableau, the user interface is lacking. Tableau is all about not interrupting developers "flow" as they craft their data visualization. Domo, on the other hand, is clunky and not user friendly. It's unclear to me how they differentiate themselves from tableau... They are very pleasant to speak with but there are no action and do not deliver anything you have asked for. there are many examples of this but the most recent one is we have issues with FB data and need DOMO to update their connector. Ticket has been raised and was brought to the account and customer success manager on June 6 and its now August 5 and still do not have an updates. Keep hearing "let me check on it and get back to you"... I regret recommending this product to the client Pros The ETL is pretty simple to learn. implementation consultant (that's NOT DOMO) is pretty responsive, if you get a good company Cons Not the best option for agencies that support different clients. Everything works as it should. Overall, it is great for small-medium sized projects. Cons This is not the most appealing tool to use for larger projects because overall the lower user friendliness means more pointing, clicking, and typing. Director of Marketing Financial Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great for executive high level use" January 14, 2016 3.0 Pros Their report builders, after a short learning curve, are very powerful for building charts and other high level type reports that executives typically like to see. The charts are attractive and there is also a slideshow function that you can use to put your charts up on a public monitor in your workspace. Pretty slick charts. Cons Domo isn't as good as Salesforce or straight database queries for actually manipulating the data. Also, the alerts functionality is weak - not enterprise ready yet. For example, if you want to create an alert to simply email you a report every morning you can't do that. You can only do alert emails based on a data point going above/below a bound, changing in some way, etc. So, no scheduled reports. Also, the integrations with third party software such as Hubspot or Google Analytics is lacking. The Hubspot integration is seriously broken and even though the Google Analytics integration works it's not very customizable or useful. Pros Customer support does answer questions when you email them. If you put in enough effort, you can make clear cards for various stakeholders. Cons It's impossible to use. You can't query anything, to solve this they built a product called "beastmode" which is difficult to use. I've used tons of BI tools over the years, Periscope easily being the best. You're able to create dashboards, charts and so on with DOMO and export them easily but for the more complex task, you might need the bare minimum knowledge of programming. Cons It is not at all developer friendly, and it does not provide the details about the error when you build a logic for run time. No Filter saving option on the Cards or on the collection. you need to create new pages or sub pages each time if you have a card or group for same filter condition. " January 23, 2017 5.0 Our organization introduced DOMO into our organization in 2014 and it has been instrumental in making business decisions. The product itself is intuitive, attractive, and robust. There are a number of data sources that already have API links making it easy and seamless to feed data into DOMO from other SaaS products. Pros Key Performance Indicators, Mobile App, Alert System when metrics fall below a programmed number, integrated chat about specific cards, and customer support is bar-none! DOMO has made an easy platform to write and edit reports. Cons When we went live with DOMO we were not able to fully optimize and leverage the information that the analytics provided due to the software not being HIPAA compliant. However, in recent months DOMO has engaged in a BAA which has allowed us to pull back the proverbial curtain and really dig into our data to influence important changes in our organization.
