Pros

Ill be honest I had a few issues in setup. I'm not the most tech savy. I can honestly say I cant fault the customer service i recieved. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was very patient with me and helped me out alot.

Cons

none, im yet to encounter any issues at all

Pros

Seems easy for us to set up and for our customers to use.

Cons

We only just started using it, so no cons yet.

Pros

I like that it integrates well with other things and tracks everything for me.

Cons

It was a little confusing to understand what features came with the integration and which didn't. Also, some of the features require web developer knowledge which i don't have.

I have no major issues with the service or software.

Pros

I like how the system mostly serves customers with minimal customer service requests. I haven't had to worry much about referral candy since setting it up.

Cons

I do not like how we have to feed order data into the system to sort out which orders are valid referrals. I wish there was a more privacy-oriented solution.

Very poor. Have booked two calls with them for two of our staff to go through the process and they haven't turned up as something has come up

Pros

nothing as not able to use the software as they do not turn up to meetings to try to get set up

Cons

They just don't turn up to meetings where we are trying to get set up

Pros

The Referral concept is great if you want to increase your conversions and email/SMS list. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] from customer support was also fast and of great help in answering all my questions. She was very concise and I had absolutely no follow ups, which is rare when talking to any customer support department 😅

Cons

The template builder is very limited. It's very hard to have your branding represented correctly on all platforms and referral candy doesn't have enough features to do so. It could be difficult for a lead or customer to recognize the brand if the email is standardized and you can only change the logo or have a small banner. Some of them are not even editable. We also tried to integrate it with our Klaviyo account, to have more freedom over the look and feel of the emails, but the integration does not sync automatically, so that's more work for us.

Setting up referral candy is quick and easy! We only had one question throughout our setup process, and Customer Support was incredibly responsive- we connected via chat with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and she not only helped answer our question but also reviewed our entire setup to offer optimization suggestions. Highly recommend!

Cons

There are no drawbacks to referral candy that we have identified yet.

Pros

Ease of setup and RC youtube channel was very helpful

Cons

There was a lack of literature connecting this with Klaviyo specifically. Though it was set up correctly the first time, it took several tickets from both Klaviyo and RC to confirm it was working accordingly.

We like ReferralCandy very much, we have tested with a free trial period. Everything is customizable, which we like very much. The support from their agent \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was amazing, he helped us very well with the troubles we had. Thumbs up for \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\].

Pros

ReferralCandy has all the features we want to use with a tool like this. Their customer support is excellent.

Cons

They gave us a little bit conflicting information, but afterwards they solved this pretty well.

Pros

Super easy to customise emails. Easy lead through of every step during set up.

Support has been really helpful. Still early days but hopefully this will be a good inclusion into our marketing mix.

Pros

Easy to implement, even with a bespoke CMS. Would be even quicker if you had a off the shelf ecommerce platform.

Cons

Tracking uses cookies and takes a while to understand what a friend vs advocate is

Pros

I'm a fan of the automated structure and how easy you can implement the service onto the site, like having embedded sign up forms which is great for us. Also the support is fantastic, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been extremely helpful in helping me figure out and get to the bottom of some technical issues and answer any questions fairly quickly.

Cons

It would be nice to have more direct customisation with the ReferralCandy email templates, as well as being able to customise the emails sent from referral candy to advocates to confirm emails et.c

Seemed like it met our requirements the best

Powerful with lots of features and great technical support (live chat).

Cons

On-boarding was a bit clumsy. Sometimes not sure of the right setting. Took longer than expected to set up. There's lots of documentation but I think it could be organized better.

I was very quick to set up and provide a place for my customers to get a referral link. I loved that it was easy to use the first time.

Cons

It is a bit pricey but may be worth it depending on your audience size and how likely they are to get referrals.
