With QLM, the licensing process is very well controlled and helps to ensure our customers don't over extend their number of licenses. Pros Very easy to manage licensing process with customers. Slowing down the updates - say to a twice or once a month frequency would be helpful. There are also examples of how to insert the license code into your own software code in order for it to work. Nice user interface. again straight forward until you need to insert the license code into your own code. But once it is set up, you don't really need to go back and redo all the work. it becomes very straight forward. they've added a feature to check if the user of my software is offline or not and how I want it to be handled. Nice feature. Cons It took some time to make it work with my applications and to make it compatible. there is a learning curve but in the end it is worth it because once it is setup for one application it is a simple copy and paste of code to make work for any other application. When i bought it there was no network license. I don't know if that feature was added later.
