We've searched every license managers in the market, and QLM was the best benefit-cost ratio we've found. The support we've received was the most responsive and dependable technical support we've ever come across. Pros \- Easy to use - Cross platform (we're currently using it for .NET but we know it'll work on Android and OS X when we get there) - Extensive API means that we are able to automate pretty much any task - There are so many options in QLM that we have not explored yet, I know we're still just scratching the surface! Cons Documentation could be improved. Review Source MT Marisa T. sales Farming Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Needs some work" January 29, 2019 4.0 Pros \- great for creating and exporting key codes quickly - great to have extra logins that allow you to separate from different users - the product does whats is says it does - being able to easily email out from the system Cons \- the crazy long keycodes, the customers done enjoy typing that in and n o option to have a shorter one - when you try to look something up you have to be super fast in typing what you want before it refreshes on you. - you don't get to give a drop option on how many customers you have on screen instead looking through page after page to find the customer if you are unsure on what email etc they used Review Source JA Johannes A. When I need support it is really responsive. Pros Very reliable, easy to use for Excel/VBA applications. Cons When the application is open hasn't been used for a period of time it's a bit slow to come up when activated. I would consider this very minor overall. With QLM, the licensing process is very well controlled and helps to ensure our customers don't over extend their number of licenses. Pros Very easy to manage licensing process with customers. Easy to define products and integrate QLM into applications. Cons The supplier updates the software rather frequently. It has a myriad of SDK and API functions that allows you to customize it to your exact expectations. Pros Easy integration into our application. Friendly and responsive online support. This helps prevent piracy and provides a great alternative to the standard app stores. Pros The software is fairly easy to integrate and the license manager is robust and easy to use. The software has been completely reliable and has allowed me to sell my application through my own storefront. The QLM integrates very nicely with Fastspring so the whole process is automated. Cons In order to get everything working, I had to modify the QLM code to handle some additional fields (is\_user and is\_pwd) so that my web server worked correctly. There are also examples of how to insert the license code into your own software code in order for it to work. Nice user interface. again straight forward until you need to insert the license code into your own code. But once it is set up, you don't really need to go back and redo all the work. it becomes very straight forward. they've added a feature to check if the user of my software is offline or not and how I want it to be handled. Nice feature. Cons It took some time to make it work with my applications and to make it compatible. there is a learning curve but in the end it is worth it because once it is setup for one application it is a simple copy and paste of code to make work for any other application. When i bought it there was no network license. I don't know if that feature was added later. Review Source ZA Zack A. Pros I am a software consultant and have developed a .NET application that I am selling online. I have evaluated several products to protect my application, Quick License Manager has allowed me to completely automate the process. I sell my software via RegNow. Quick license manager integrates with Regnow so that when a customer buys a copy of my software, Regnow automatically contacts the Quick License Manager and creates a license key that is sent to the customer. Neat! All the customer information and license key are then stored in a DB that I can access via a cool looking GUI. The licensing itself is very simple, I just had to drop a .NET Control in my application et voila! Cons No real cons. Some of the samples provided did not work off the bat. Review Source PP Paul P. User interface is a bit convoluted it would be nice if it defaulted to a simple UI without columsn and columsn of data that we will never user. We have just upgraded to the Enterprise version and it seems that in order to use floating licensnes and/or mobile liensne issuing its not that easy to setup. I like being able to control the program to ensure it is not being shared without that person purchasing the program from me. The ability to integrate with access and manage the license (number of activations allowed) is key. Cons i have several ppl that purchase the program earlier then when the trial period expires. They cannot input the new key until the trial expires. I can be used for any programming language. also customer service is pretty good. they are pretty responsive and answer questions as quickly as possible Cons I wish there was a 1 day class on the software. instead of small videos, maybe a single 3-4 hour class. where I can learn the entire software.
