Great to use if you get ideas throughout the day that you don't want to forget. Pros I have tried so many speech translators and I have to say this one is really not too bad. It has trouble with my Boston accent but that's more my fault for having the accent. With good annunciation it can pick most things up. Cons Struggles with punctuation, also confuses similar sounding words but all translators do. Cons Phrases are difficult as they would often translate literally but I know this is the case with most free translation programs. Pros I have many friends and customers that have English as a second language. With iSpeech Translator I can convert text messages, emails and letters as well as answer questions about my items for sale, in the language that is more recognized by my partner in conversation. 7 languages are supported with additional language to come. Its such a great tool!! Cons I will enjoy seeing more languages added, but as it is, I'm quite pleased and do not have much to say that is not good. Pros I use this software both in my personal life and at work and it has been a game changer. I can now communicate with nonenglish speaking clients in there comfort zone removing the language barrier without years of classes is a huge help when communicating with potential clients and in my personal life I have garnered relationships with my grandchildren's extended family in Mexico. Cons Sometimes the app tends to run slow and has miss translated some of my words due to my vernacular. Pros Love the fact that is a free app, it is really simple to use, just tap on the screen and start typing, also the natural sound of the voice in the reader. I hadn't taken any Spanish so when I went on my trip to South America I was reluctant to try and use Spanish during daily convos. This thing came in handy!! Cons There were some delays in the translation which could be problematic in real time, but more often than not it was speedy enough to translate while talking with natives.
