The pros definitely outweigh the few cons I had with the software. It made our document management very simple. Pros I liked Docusign overall, it obviously makes it easy to get my stuff signed by who I need. It's very secure and easy to use. I like being able to place the signature boxes where I need and choose the type I need. Cons Sometimes I'd get some errors and have to reload the software when using it or trying to get a document set up. It also allows real collaboration and editing features you need to create and manage contracts. However, internet connection challenges could cause inconveniences. The pricing could also be a hinderance. Pros DocuSign allows us to create realistic contracts and share to clients for signing before we send our team of contractors to the clients property. This same time, minimizes inconveniences, and encourages clients to honor their contractual obligation. DocuSign allows users to sign from any location where they have access to the internet. It sends security codes and requires users to verify their emails minimizing the chances of unauthorized access. You can adopt the relevant template, edit the contract, and send to other parties without leaving the platform. It allows you to set reminders to ensure the clients sign on time. Cons Although it is user-friendly, I often have to call some clients to guide them and ensure they sign as required. It has a fairly steep learning curve for inexperienced users who have never used such a tool. It relies on the internet connection, which poses a challenge to some users in remote locations with shaky internet connection. Pros We managed to create significant efficiencies in our contract life cycle management process through the introduction of CLM e.g. Centrally creating, negotiating and storing contracts in one place. Managing renewal dates. Alerts for renewals. Ability to report on upcoming contract expiry/renewal dates. The list is endless. Cons Implementation was difficult for us. It was down to our set up and having very detailed requirements, however the system need to have a technical product expert / coding expert in place to develop. Or reliance upon Docusign's team based out of ireland, who are good but not cheap. Salesforce Admin Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "SpringCM a Must for Contracts" September 1, 2016 5.0 Our many variations of our contracts warranted a look for a solution that would help ease the pain of creating, editing and sending out contracts. Our old solution wasn't cutting it. After many months of due diligence we decided SpringCM was the best fit. The sales staff was patient with us and our million questions. The implementation team was fantastic. They took the time to learn about our business and needs to help get all elements correct. Pros Since nothing baout our contracts are standard we really needed a solution that allowed us to make changes easily. SpringCM's Editor gave us just that ability. The sales team can now make changes without bringing in the legal team. The redlining capabilities makes it easy for legal to see the changes when the contract reaches them. This has allowed for better overall communication between the department, contracts are getting through the workflow faster and sent out the door. We are closing business! SpringCM also integrates perfectly with Salesforce which is a must for us. The application is easy to use and has made for a happier sales staff. Cons Implementation did take longer than I anticipated but I'm not sure how much of a con that is. There was a huge learning curve for me on the admin side. Pros My company has lots of different files coming from multiple sources in all sorts of formats. Spring CM is tasked with simplifying things within our Salesforce build. I like that the formatting of the resumes, references, etc generated are all cohesive and clean. Cons For some reason, the roll out of the software has taken years instead of months. We use it to draft and share binding contracts with clients who need our services. It is easy to set up and most clients use it easily. It formalizes engagements despite the physical distance between clients and service providers. Pros I like because it allows easy management of contracts with our clients. You can send them drafted contracts for them to read, ask any questions and append signature from wherever they are. It captures and helps store important details including the agreement, date, electronic signature, and time. This generally reduces confusion and makes the contract formal. Cons It has limited functions and we basically use it to share files for signing by our clients. Some clients experience troubles trying to add their signature but internally our colleagues have never had any issues. I wonder whether it can be manipulated to sign other documents without your knowledge. July 6, 2017 5.0 Pros Easy to navigate, simple integration into SFDC and great editing, sharing and signing features. It syncs with my desktop which allows me to input docs without having to go into the system. Same goes for the SFDC integration, I get more users to access documents with the great connection where users don't have to log into SpringCM if they are already in SFDC. The price is more than reasonable, especially compared to other similar solutions. Cons I would love a way to create a parent child relationship with documents. The solution has evolved over the 7+ years that I have used it so I can't think of many cons.
