### "Enables E-Signature but lacks proper creation of documents and templates"

June 24, 2024

4.0

Pros

Allows to accept digital signatures as we require it for applicants that we hire instead of the traditional method of printing out, signing and then scanning a document before emailing it back. In addition, we have integrated it with our Sharepoint so that we can retain a digital repository of all our applicants. During our onboarding journey we believed that the platform was capable of making new templates and documents through our interactions with the sales team via a native builder, but that was not the case hence the lower score.

Cons

There are other solutions out there like PandaDoc that allow for template creation which was something we did not realise we had a need for until we signed off on DocuSign.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Docusign CLM

At the time we believe that it allowed for the same capabilities as PandaDoc through our interaction with sales consultants but only after the onboarding did we realise that this was not the case

### "Docusign is a Must Have for document signing "

September 23, 2023

5.0

I have thoroughly enjoyed the ease of docusign. My customers also think it is very professional and they love the ease of ut.

Pros

It allows us to easily send our contracts to our remote customers. I do not miss the days of faxing at all!!

Cons

It would be cool to add an interface where our customers could easily pay after they sign, but not urgent.

Reason for choosing Docusign CLM

Docusign is faster and more professional

### "Misleading and Lacking the Promised Features"

March 22, 2024

1.0

Overall, Esssentials is essentially useless.

Pros

There are no features of that we are happy with. Every feature that was promised to us either works poorly or is not present at all.

Cons

We were promised certain features in that were ultimately not delivered. For example, the ability to tag contracts and search contracts by those tags. This feature was explicitly promised to us in our contract, but is not functional in our system. This essentially makes DocuSign CLM useless as we cannot search our document repository in any meaningful way. DocuSign CLM support team was not helpful. And for those of you thinking that DocuSign CLM will be a natural extension of DocuSign e-Signature, unfortunately no, the two systems are not connected at all. You are expected to manually upload signed contracts from DocuSign e-Signature to DocuSign CLM.

### "Helps us to conveniently enter into binding contracts with clients wherever they are"

September 17, 2023

5.0

We enter into a legally binding agreements with our clients before we offer services. allows us to create customized contracts and request customers to sign after reading and understanding the terms. It also allows real collaboration and editing features you need to create and manage contracts. However, internet connection challenges could cause inconveniences. The pricing could also be a hinderance.

Pros

DocuSign allows us to create realistic contracts and share to clients for signing before we send our team of contractors to the clients property. This same time, minimizes inconveniences, and encourages clients to honor their contractual obligation. DocuSign allows users to sign from any location where they have access to the internet. It sends security codes and requires users to verify their emails minimizing the chances of unauthorized access. You can adopt the relevant template, edit the contract, and send to other parties without leaving the platform. It allows you to set reminders to ensure the clients sign on time.

Cons

Although it is user-friendly, I often have to call some clients to guide them and ensure they sign as required. It has a fairly steep learning curve for inexperienced users who have never used such a tool. It relies on the internet connection, which poses a challenge to some users in remote locations with shaky internet connection.

### "DocuSign CLM Review"

December 7, 2023

5.0

We use it to send to doctors and hospitals to confirm shifts that will be worked, without this tool, the doctors cannot work - this system makes everything faster and easier to reference back to.

Pros

Ease of walking through templates is a breeze, it is easy to find the document and tailor it to each client within just a minute of logging in. I love that it saves each client's contact information.

Cons

Nothing in particular stands out, it is very user friendly.

### "DocuSign Enhances Contract Management Process"

September 15, 2023

5.0

DocuSign is a reliable contract management solution that helps us keep our engagements formal. It is easy to use and creates professional contracts. DocuSign allows collaboration of different parties, making it easy to review contracts before signing. You can access it from a remote location which is great since most of our clients are far away.

Pros

I like DocuSign because of its intuitive design that allows you to see all the contracts, check status, review deadlines, and perform necessary actions to make the contract legal and binding. The simple layout shortens the onboarding process. It has a version control system to ensure all users are using the latest version to minimize compatibility issues. It has advanced editing tools to allow us create professional contracts. You can create a customized template to ensure uniformity.

Cons

Despite having advanced features and functions, the pricing was beyond our budget and the management opted for a different solution. However, in terms of reliability, I prefer DocuSign and I hope we will reconsider the decision.

### "Digitialised our CLM process - and created significant efficiencies"

December 1, 2023

5.0

Significant enhancements to our CLM process, reduced time, money and risk spent on a problem area for us. Happy customer.

Pros

We managed to create significant efficiencies in our contract life cycle management process through the introduction of CLM e.g. Centrally creating, negotiating and storing contracts in one place. Managing renewal dates. Alerts for renewals. Ability to report on upcoming contract expiry/renewal dates. The list is endless.

Cons

Implementation was difficult for us. It was down to our set up and having very detailed requirements, however the system need to have a technical product expert / coding expert in place to develop. Or reliance upon Docusign's team based out of ireland, who are good but not cheap.

### "Eliminates physical paperwork and reduces the turnaround time"

September 26, 2023

5.0

We usually outsource content from freelance writers in different locations when we have a backlog from our clients. Therefore, we need an agreement with the remote writers to ensure non disclosure and formalize the work relationship. We also create contracts with large companies that need our services. Docusign helps us draft the contract and ask the other parties to sign from wherever they are. It offers many ways to sign and it is easy for anyone to use.

Pros

has an intuitive interface that allow new users to navigate, upload documents, create signature sections, and choose the ideal signing process. It provides many document signing options including electronic signatures which makes relationship with clients and freelancers binding. You can request many users to sign the same document regardless of their geographical location. It keeps track of everything that happens to the document so you can tell who altered what section. This enhances transparency.

Cons

is a subscription solution which might be a limitation for small businesses. Although it has a simple design and features, it requires some learning to enjoy full functions and avoid making mistakes that could affect the enforcement of the contract. It relies on the internet and connection issues could affect its performance.

### "Makes it very easy to enter into binding contracts with remote clients"

October 13, 2023

5.0

helps us engage clients and enter into a binding contract before we offer our research services. It is easy to upload and edit Word and pdf files and send them out to clients for signing. It is easy to sign documents from any location with internet connected devices. However, you need to learn how DocuSign CLM works to get the most and shorten the time required to establish contractual engagement.

Pros

provides the features we need to edit contracts, store, and send them to clients. It is quite secure and easy to use even for people who have never used electronic signature tools. The clients can read and understand the terms of the contract and sign from wherever they are. You can always access your documents in one location and are unlikely to lose them, which was a common challenge with physical contracts.

Cons

is easy to use but it requires some learning to make use of all the features and shorten the time required to create and establish the contract. It cannot work without access to the internet, which means that connection issues could affect functionality and lead to delays. Another thing I dislike is the price, which is a bit high.

### "Viewing can be frustratin"

March 29, 2019

4.0

Our company uses SpringCM as a plugin to Salesforce and it works pretty well for what we need it to do. Granted any product will only work as well as the people who are using it. So some of my frustrations are more user related I believe than functionality. The main frustration I have is that I forget not to double click and then I have to reload the page in order to see the file I want to look at.

Pros

Plugs into Salesforce Allows for folders to help organize files Can customize permissions

Cons

If you double click the file won't load Pricey

### "Streamline contract workflow"

September 1, 2016

5.0

We came to SpringCm with no contract management workflow. We worked with Spring to design a custom and complicated workflow that was able to scale both domestically and internationally. This was three years ago and we have just launched a new platform which has been received very well with our sales team.

Pros

The flexibility with the workflow is a plus when utilizing it worldwide across serveral different business units and products. It also integrates with Salesforce allowing streamline reporting across all our objects and and single sign on to one platform. The other benefit is the search feature which allows us to search for specific language through all our pdf contracts with their OCR capability. This feature has saved time across many departments.

Cons

Nothing - however, I would suggest adding the ability to print the history of the audit trail withing the contract worklfow. This is helpful for providing support to auditors.

### "SpringCM has transformed our contract and document management process. "

July 6, 2017

4.0

It has provided a seamless way for our staff to manage contracts and documents. It has saved us time and helped us to organize our processes.

Pros

SpringCM provides a seamless way for our staff to process, send, share, and track contracts and other documents in our system. All document management can be done within SpringCM without the hassle of downloading documents, attaching them to emails, etc. With a click of a button contracts can be created and send for signature; documents can be previewed, edited, sent for review, and much more. Our staff is now on the same page with document versions as SpringCM saves the newest version over the last, but allows us to easily access previous versions from the document history. Other features such as Workflows, Smart Rules, Dashboards have helped our staff automate and organize processes.

Cons

We would like to see a way for PDFs to be versioned. Certain file types are also not able to be viewed in Preview mode and it would be nice to have all file types available as a preview rather than having to download.

### "Great for Remote Uses. "

November 23, 2023

5.0

Pros

I work remotely and Docusign makes it so easy for me to send documents and have parents sign them and return them quickly. I also like I can use the template feature so I can save it and send it quickly.

Cons

I like that you can customize documents with different signing or check off features. It can be a little tricky and tedious to figure those out.

### "Very robust contract generation and management software"

August 8, 2017

5.0

Pros

They just re-vamped their workflow tool and updated a lot of the features of the platform to be more modern. Their old workflow tool was still POWERFUL, but required pretty extensive research or a certification training class just to use it. A great step in the right direction; you can tell this company cares about improving!

Cons

The UI seems pretty dated. Sometimes certain features are difficult to track down, and the configuration can be a bit confusing at time. As a Salesforce and CRM administrator, I feel like I'm pretty good at hunting down features and settings, but sometimes SpringCM can prove to be a challenge. A small issue though, as it's a moot point when the rest of the platform works so well.

### "Convenient for contract signing and management"

September 3, 2023

5.0

DocuSign helps us share contracts and ask clients to sign electronically. This makes them comply with the terms and pay on time. It is easy to use and well appreciated by customers. It makes contracts formal and minimizes conflicts.

Pros

SpringCM provides an efficient system to share contracts with our clients and ensure they sign to minimize issues. It helps us make contracts official since clients feel obliged to follow the terms of the contracts when they sign using this innovative tool. It is easy to use and saves time.

Cons

There is nothing much I don't like about this tool. Sometimes it logs out unexpectedly after leaving it idle for sometime. Some clients need to be guided how to sign contracts but I still feel it is good enough and cant possibly get any easier.

### "East to set up and use right away. PDFs are searchable for key words using Chrome"

October 12, 2017

5.0

We store all of our fully executed contracts in SpringCM. We can locate what we need extremely quickly and we can share the documents with our many regional offices. By not storing hard copy versions of the contracts, we save money on paper and file drawers.

Pros

Uploading files are fast, learning the software was easy, it's very flexible. We were able to create customized "attributes" to code our documents to make them easy to search and to categorize. The structure of the database is very flexible.

Cons

It times out after inactivity of about 15 minutes. It's not a real big deal but it means I have to log in again.

### "Amazingly helpful, intuitive tool - best one in our company"

September 1, 2016

5.0

SpringCM provides the most intuitive and value-added functionality of any workflow, doc management, or e-signature app in the marketplace. We use it primarily for legal review, contract formation, and execution.

Pros

Everything! The integration of the reviewed, final file creation process with the agnostic (Word, PDF - doesn't matter) e-signature workflow is unsurpassed.

Cons

Would love to see a Contract Summary/Report template that's a bit dumbed-down for yours truly

### "review from callisonrtkl"

August 31, 2016

5.0

This software was so easy to use right away. I was able to design what we needed, implement it, and start uploading very quickly. Making design changes is very easy as well. We use the drop menus for type of document, legal language, city, state, and country. Easy to update data to the menus.

Pros

Using SpringCM in Firefox, I can quickly search for text in one or multiple documents. This is especially important when we need to search for specific legal language. I use the attribute feature so adding attributes to a folder so all documents in that folder have these attributes makes sorting and searching very easy.

Cons

In my opinion, the program times out too quickly. I end up logging in several times a day.
