### "Simple CMS for small sites"

December 7, 2018

5.0

Pros

We use CMS Drupal when creating small sites: blogs and landing pages. The platform provides the ability to manage access rights for users. You can use the templates for the design of the site. The function of connecting the forum to the site is supported.

Cons

The main drawback of CMS Drupal is a low level of security. Sometimes sites created on the basis of this platform are hacked by intruders. For this reason, you should not create large portals or online stores on this CMS.

### "Extremely powerful open source CMS"

April 22, 2019

5.0

If you need powerful roles and permissions this is the only choice. This is coming from a .NET developer.

Pros

Once I got comfortable using Drupal I'm very impressed. The security and flexibility are second to none. I haven't made the switch to Drupal 8 (and I hear it's very different) but I look forward to learning it.

Cons

Since most features are add on modules, it can get a little tedious updating and patching modules. But same can be said for WordPress. The learning curve was a bit steep as well.

### "Web Development Made Easy"

Pros

Drupal allows for web designing to be managed and maintained in a much simpler fashion allowing for large scale websites to be handled with ease.

Cons

Simplistic design style can sometimes limit the end users creativity and integrating custom modules can be difficult at times.

### "pretty Impressive"

developed my websites with it.

Pros

Drupal is undoubtedly the most secure CMS, at least while considering the PHP based systems. You can organize content by the content organizer into various categories for better content management. It is also SEO friendly.

Cons

when it comes to installation and customization. drupal is not a very user-friendly platform. It requires programming knowledge to do so.

### "Developed Drupal 7 site a few years ago. Site has been solid and secure and functioning very well."

May 26, 2017

5.0

Low cost. Very secure. Open source so problems get solved.

Pros

Site is tight and secure and functions fabulously. Have had very minimal problems in 1.5 years the site has been live. I would recommend this product but expect a steep learning curve if you are not experienced. I hear Drupal 8 is much more user friendly for developing.

Cons

Steep learning curve for someone without experience. As a graphic designer I had a challenging time learning how to get the site set up.

### "Like Wordpres, only more powerful"

January 29, 2020

5.0

Pros

In CMS Drupal, I can easily build a site architecture. In the Taxonomy section, I can link different pages and materials. Another platform works with notes, as well as familiar to many Wordpress. By the way, both services are equally easy to use, only Drupal has a lot more features.

Cons

To develop my own template, for a long time had to develop layouts in php. It was only recently in the Drupal store that an extension appeared to simplify development.

### "Buon sostituto a CMS più conosciuti."

June 12, 2020

4.0

Cercavo un'alternativa a Joomla e Drupal sembra comportarsi abbastanza bene.

Pros

### "Incredibly powerful content management software that is also incredibly annoying to use"

April 7, 2018

Pros

The Drupal system is extremely powerful and flexible. The options for developing sites with it are virtually limitless.

Cons

Administration, maintenance and security updates are time-consuming and difficult. The admin interface "out of the box" is confusing.

### "Best CMS and Website Builder Software"

March 19, 2019

5.0

I developed a few responsive websites using Drupal. I used several themes that are on the Drupal site and customized it based on my needs. You need to be very knowledgable before making any changes to the theme which you are customizing.

Pros

First thing I like most it is open source and we can do lots of customization based on your needs in the easiest way.

Cons

Finding out the right module and documentation for it is very tough.

### "To create a unique resource on the Internet"

April 28, 2019

5.0

Pros

In Drupal, you usually create great web resources. Therefore, we used it when we studied and taught students to make high-quality web resources. We wanted the portals to be original and not similar to others - Drupal allowed this to happen.

Cons

The system is definitely not for newbies, and it’s worth considering that the service doesn’t provide almost any templates. You need to hire a group of developers who will make a good attractive design.

### "Drupal the professional CMS for everybody"

February 15, 2021

I made my first website in pure HTML in 1998. I heard about CMS in the early 2000"s and in 2004 about Drupal. It's more powerful than other CMS, beacuse not so fancy but powerful, secure and stable.

Pros

Drupal is a powerful, secure CMS for fast and secure websites. It is simple and easy to use - if you have a basic knowledge about HTML, SQL, etc.

Cons

Drupal is not as popular than WordPress, so there are less themes and features.

Reason for choosing Drupal

It's one of the most powerful CMSs

### "The rival to Wordpress that does not want to win the fight"

February 8, 2020

4.0

Drupal is very different. It tries and tries to be better than WP but nevertheless it is still the tool for the specific people who are fed up with WordPress and want to try anything but doing "another wordpress website"

Pros

I like the functionality Drupal offers and the different approach to things. It is a nice try and the features such as security and performance that come with drupal as well as the tool for multisites are amazing and they work very nicely.

Cons

Drupal is nowhere near being a beautiful tool. It is pretty hard to learn and not easy to customize. Partially because the shortage of new integrations and new developers joining the community. It's hard to fight wp, but I really like that drupal tries and I believe it will always will but will never get there due to its audience limitations.

### "Can be a bit confusing at first"

December 12, 2018

5.0

Pros

Once a website is set up, it's very easy to update the site using drupal. Most importantly, it's wonderful for seeing the logs and checking how bugs came about.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing for new users, but the most difficult part is trying to learn how to use drupal with the lack of clear documentation that can be found on it.

### "Not bad cross-platform CMS"

April 30, 2018

5.0

Pros

CMS Drupal is good because it is suitable for both simple and more complex projects. The administrative panel in this CMS is powerful and at the same time intuitive, if necessary you can create a multilingual project, and for those who want to save on the Internet, there are a lot of free templates and themes for the engine. In general, I am very pleased with this CMS and can recommend it to use.

Cons

If you encounter Drupal for the first time, training will take quite a lot of time. But in 3-5 days you will understand that even a serious web project is created and configured extremely easily.

### "Très puissant pour sa gestion de contenu"

June 25, 2023

5.0

Pros

### "Not worth my time"

August 1, 2019

3.0

I would not say it is in line with the latest trend. Mostly modern CMS have amazing features with good bootstrapping themes that can easily be fit in. need a one off editor like a visual studio to allow simple edits. if there is indeed an editor that is popular then I am not aware of it.

Pros

Neat set of easily readable modules. Customization is less in well known universal API's such as date module(s).

Cons

Todays world is filled with CMS (light weight and heavy). Drupal sits on a very heavy installation with customization being not easy. seeks experienced developers, Module updates can have a side effect. It is indeed popular but then several of the latest CMS systems produce ready to use bootstrap templates and that can give a run for Drupal. language independent development is something I have not explored with everyone suggesting PHP.
