There is definitely ease of use, but lack of functionality. Pros It is easy to you and relatively easy to learn. There are forums should you get stumped. Cons Although it is easy to use, there are limitations in Drupal versus similar CMS, such as wordpress. There are not as many widgets to make things as customized as you'd like. In one, we invested lots of time and money customising and designing our website. Drupal was great for that and it did everything we wanted. Cons Occasionally we do come across issues for things we want to code that Drupal doesn't always like, but I know part of this is because we use a separate database to edit much of our content. Pros Drupal can be heavily customised, and can handle very large amounts of users/content without issue. Cons It's open source, so it's free, but the development cycle can be quite slow. Drupal is an open source system that has some challenges with customer support, however the training, help docs and community support is very reach. I like the product for its capability for development, content management and integration with other applications. Cons Drupal is an open source platform and in my work I feel two challenges. Pros I was a user on a Drupal website posting music reviews, and though the design looked nice... That's the only good thing I can say. Cons It was painful to compose posts, and the workflow was counterintuitive at best. We switched to a more popular CMS last year and it's been wonderful.
