July 5, 2018 4.0 Pros The graphical user interface is easy to use and does not take much time in familiarizing with the features. A highly responsive customer service and support team. The set up allows us to even add more applications, it is highly customizable. The application has multi factor authentication. They have reporting and statistics capabilities. They have regular audits and it does not have much issues. The end users too find it simple to use and not much issues are reported. There is this single user dash board where you get to see the whole picture in one frame. Cons The cost is quite pricey when it comes to service. No more remembering passwords! Cons It's not the most intuitive - I didn't realize what it was, or how to use it for the longest time. Our assessment including independent research, reference calls, uptime analysis, and on-premise proof-of-concept. We found to be the leader from multiple standpoints. The Gartner MQ confirmed our findings. Pros Our ~5000 users love the tool and find it simple and intuitive. In addition, delegating the app administration to app owners has moved the responsibility of access provisioning to the right owners. Pros I used this as I contracted through a larger company. It was easy to get setup, logged in and find everything I needed from company software. I have also interacted with Okta reps before on calls, and they were always very helpful. Pros I love having all the logins that I need for various platforms in use at my work in one place, so I can easily hop in without having to remember any urls or login details. I have also set up SSO integrations as a software engineer with and it has always been a nice and flexible system to work with from that perspective. Cons The user interface is a bit basic from an end-user perspective, but I guess it doesn't really need to do much other than display a bunch of links. I've been integrating into organizations for the past few years, and have had great success. Okta has turned SSO and IdM into a streamlined easy to integrate process. Their OAN catalog of preconfigured applications ensures very quick SSO configuration for most major business applications and thousands of apps you may have never heard of. Users no longer need to tape passwords under their keyboards or stick them on post-its under the monitor. Configure Okta, and they need only remember one set of credentials. Okta's support is second to none as well. For the rare time you may need assistance, they are on the ball, and ready to help. If you are considering SSO for your organization, do yourself and favor and grab the free trial from Okta and check it out.
