For some smaller companies it can be more money than they are willing to invest. Although it is definitely worth every penny you pay, for some smaller companies they have a hard time justifying.

is our primary assessment platform and it has helped us hire folks who are ramping up quicker, are able to deliver more within the same period of time and are able to onboard the company practices way quicker.

Pros

provides a clear and unfiltered view of how the candidate thinks and acts in various situations. The analytical and logical assessments provide a direct and true view of the individuals capabilities. Given we are ops heavy, it is important to have folks who are quick, and agile... and criteria has been able to deliver on that need.

Cons

Nothing adverse to highlight, that has impacted our ability to hire the finest...

My overall experience with has been highly satisfactory. Teaching the hiring managers about the benefits of assessments pre-hire has been a challenge but that is not the fault of Criteria.

Pros

The deep insights into candidate quantitative and qualitative strengths and weaknesses. This has significantly improved our hiring process.

Cons

Really nothing. I wish I had the bandwidth to take advantage of all the functions and look forward to when I can do so.

Been using for the last 4 years daily in my organization. It is critical to our interviewing/screening process. Very user friendly - it has the capability to have you screen candidates in a variety of ways with the various assessments.

Pros

Easily incorporated with our ATS system and has a variety of assessments that meet our current recruitment needs to vet finalists for roles. Also, very easy to navigate and pull reports from the system.

I haven't run into any issues while using this product.

### "Please Make it so you can Export Scores Directly from Job"

Overall good with the major con being the difficulty of exporting assessment scores by job and having to build a report to get your data. It's hard to train recruiters to do this and it's critical to our selection process success.

Pros

I like the breakdown of three separate sections of grading. It gives a solid breakdown of what areas the candidate exceeds or struggles with.

The business is exceptional to use as it provides clear communication with the ability to have regular meetings with representatives, to discuss challenges that we may be facing with the software.

Pros

Customer service is excellent with strong communication throughout the entire process.

Difficulty when creating assessments as it was more complex than expected, however after spending some time completing the process it became much more straightforward.

These assessments are the only piece of objective an employer will receive about a candidate. Often times a candidate might interview well but when the assessment is done it will show they have low abilities in taking in and applying new information with speed and accuracy. In these times when businesses need people to learn quickly, the assessment can really help us identify who will not need repetitive training.

Pros

I like the ability to customize the reports based on the job function, picking specific assessments we'd like to include for each type of job. I also like the explanations that are provided for each of the scales. It makes the information easy to understand.

Cons

The only con I have is that there is no option to purchase a smaller "bundle" of assessments. I am a consultant working with small businesses who don't do a lot of hiring each year but who could benefit from the assessments. It would be nice either I or my clients could purchase a certain numer of assessments rather than buy "per year". A company I previous did assessments through (Prevue) offered assessment bundles of 10 - 20. The cost per assessment was appox $100 (based on the size of the bundle) This made it cost a bit more manageable for the clients we worked with. So my recommendation would be to offer a bundle of assessments in numbers of 5, 10, 20 or 50. I'd really like to hear back from if this is something they will consider.

has allowed us a great tool to qualify candidates to progress through or be removed from our hiring process.

Pros

Consistent and easy to use. Provides us a good method to reduce the amount of candidates in a fair way. The ability to select different tests for different jobs. And, the ability to create our own tests to use for promotional purposes.

Cons

There are so many features. Sometimes you have to drill down a few menus to get to some of the details.
