Pros: Easy to use , just easy to use, but not more .. You will be frustrated if you continue to use this program

Cons: Terrible customer service, relentless request for activation code, difficult to move license to new computer

Overall: Nothing

Very user friendly for those not well-versed in statistical computation.

Pros: I love the automatic graphing functions (non-linear regression) that are within a click. Takes guess-work and manual graphing out of the equation.

Cons: There seems to be a bug that crashes the software when you copy and paste from microsoft excel. It doesn't happen immediately, but usually happens when you're performing the "magic function" to match your graph to the format of another graph. They really need to work out this bug.

Overall: Beautiful graphs that are publication quality

Prism helps find answers to scientific problems and displays them visually.

Pros: I love how many statistical analyses can be run and how complex analyses can be easily graphed and many different metrics can be captured. It saves so much time, energy, and critical thinking!

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything i dislike about Prism besides the price. It was very expensive for our lab to license it to every individual so we only had one computer that had it which made for long waiting times.

Pros: There are a lot of functionalities that are not as easily accessible in similar programs such as Excel. Easy to use statistical packages. Plots are professional looking without much tinkering unlike the defaults out of Excel.

Cons: Excel is still the standard in our work environment. Using prism generally requires an extra step. I have not found it very effective for large data sets.

This software is great to easily perform Stat analysis. This is accessible even for non Statistician

Pros: This software allows easy graphs creation as well as easy statistical calculations. You can easily customize your graphs. This is really a very helpful tool.

Cons: You need to have some basics in statistics but it seems quite logical for this kind of tool. I don't have any specific complaints about it.

Pros: This program is everything you wished Excel could be. It creates beautiful, highly customizable graphs, does complex statistics on your datasets and walks you through which tests to choose, and the Magic Wand tool that allows for cloning of graph styles will change your life. This is an essential software for my PhD research and I thoroughly enjoy using it.

Cons: Small things, really. You can't create preset color options, selecting individual datapoints is difficult (and cannot be labeled), different rows of a heatmap cannot be customized. Also, it can't handle large datasets, so look to other programs like R for data graphing or visualization. But these are extremely minor, and only noticeable because I use the program constantly.

Pros: Breadth and depth.

Cons: Can be complex without training.

Overall: A comprehensive package that offers both researchers and students in our institution a powerful tool for a great range of stats analysis. Personally, I find the ease of finding curve fits in the top level interface extremely simple. Our students are able to use the package from undergrad up to Ph.D. level for many biological stats related tasks.

Recommendations to other buyers: Good idea to attend a class if possible to learn about more complex features.
