Pros

I like the fact that there are several model statistical analysis that one can follow for their analysis. Secondly, there are very good tutorials from the developers on some basics statistics and how to run them in prism as well.

Cons

The software is a bit pricy. Otherwise, it is a great tool for all who present a lot of graphs for their publications.

It offers the best graphical representation, which are easy to interpret and are visually appealing.

Pros

Best for analyzing and presenting data in graphs. Offers a platform to conduct both linear and non-linear regression and correlation analysis. It also accepts data copied from other spreadsheets and open source format.

Cons

It is somehow expensive, though the services it offers is worth the amount. It is also not so effective when analysing qualitative data.

Beautiful graphs that are publication quality

Pros

I love the automatic graphing functions (non-linear regression) that are within a click. Takes guess-work and manual graphing out of the equation.

Cons

There seems to be a bug that crashes the software when you copy and paste from microsoft excel. It doesn't happen immediately, but usually happens when you're performing the "magic function" to match your graph to the format of another graph. They really need to work out this bug.

I use this program weekly. It is an essential program for any research lab.

Pros

The ease of putting all my data for a project into one central file. Unlike Excel, Graphpad allows the user to add many data tables to a single file and generate statistical analysis AND publication-quality graphs. This has saved me countless hours in getting ready to publish manuscripts.

Cons

Some statistics aren’t always as intuitive and it can be hard to find the right information to get help.

Pros

I like the ease of use: I was able to learn the tool in a day and now as I am doing new skills, I am learning it day by day. Besides, its really easy to learn it from youtube videos.

Cons

The graph to data linkages can sometimes be very confusing. At times, it just opens a new window and I am into a whole new file.

Ability to make professional graphs easily, quickly, and accurately.

Pros

Huge functionality. If you can envision a way to display your data, GraphPad Prism will have it. It's a snap to generate clear graphs of any (reasonable) data set. Also, the graphs and tables look professional, and they're easy to interpret by others. This combination of clear, minimalist design and wide-ranging functionality make Prism my go-to graphing software for presentations and publications.

Cons

Definitely the learning curve. Unlike, say, Microsoft Excel, it takes a while to learn what everything does. They have tutorials which do ease the process along, but it takes some time to get used to everything at first.

I usually use it for presenting my data analysis, I totally recommended for beginners or people who wants decent graphs for their presentations.

Pros

I used it for my data analysis because it is easy to use and to learn. The students that have struggles with others competing software, then when they try to use GraphPad they have no problems for their statistics analysis. Also, it forces the user to organize data which makes easier to work your data and its analysis. In my view, it is the best for presenting data in graphs, because these graphs and tables look very professional, and they're easy to interpret.

Cons

In overall I don´t have any problem with this software, my only problem is that it could be some expensive for students.

It has not only saved me time, it has also saved me from doing the wrong statistical test a few times since it kind of asks you questions based on what your data look like. Multiple times I have thought I was doing something right and when I went to analyze the data I realized there was a better option thanks to Graphpad Prism.

Pros

The ability to run basically any statistical test with the click of a few buttons. Also, many of the nuances and sub-tests of certain tests are actually explained next to the option to select them. That is fantastic since it is impossible to know every little fact about every test.

Cons

The fact that for some 2-way ANOVAs you need to transpose your data from columns into rows. It's a bit annoying and I can sometimes get confused looking at my data in a new layout.

Pros

I love being able to edit graphs within Prism with ease! Having the feature to add additional text to graphs makes putting figures together much easier and faster.

Cons

I've been using Prism for a few years and there's nothing in particular that I dislike about it! It's so easy to use!

### "Customer Service Has Disrupted My Ability to Work"

This software desperately needs a direct phone line to assist in troubleshooting issues. I have been going back and fourth with different customer service representatives via email for 3 weeks with no resolution to date. This is extremely frustrating to not be able to use the software needed to perform my job due to the lack of communication/access to customer service.

According to coworkers, the software is intuitive and easy to use.

Pros

I used this technology as a researcher for nearly three years and it continues to blow me away all that you can do with it. They have expanded their repertoire of statistical tests you can run on the program and the graph making is extremely user friendly. For my manuscripts, I pretty much only use Prism to make my figures.

Cons

While many statistical tests are available, it would be wonderful if some of it could become automated. For example, if there is an option for two-way ANOVA with multiple comparisons, a function should be written in to automatically display your statistics on the graph page and also display the asterisks/letters that you use to denote significance/

Older versions are not compatible with newer ones. Graphs made in newer version do not open in the older version. So one is forced to get an upgrade.

I exclusively used this tool in my research studies, and it is fantastic. It did the job amazingly well, and let me produce great graphs with the color palette I wanted. Highly Recommended.

Pros

It's an extremely powerful statistical tool with so many options and intricacies. Whatever you want to test statistically can most probably be done via GraphPad Prism. You have complete control over the final look of your graphs as well; colors, shapes, lines, text..etc

Cons

It has a bit of a learning curve, you need someone to show you how to navigate your way around. It can be daunting at first as well and frustrating at times.

The software is good for fast generating basic plots ad basic data analysis.

Pros

I like to do calculation firstly, create heat map using "the tutorial data" option in "groups", which will generate a beautiful heat map faster than other software. It's also easy to create other plots, and basically I just copy paste the data into table and then generate "graph". Also I like the "clone" function when I want to generate new plot based on a existing one. The "magic" function save my time to make plots in consistent format.

Cons

Premier level data analysis will require other software.

GraphPad allows for facile input of large quantities of data, and generates beautiful charts and statistical analyses. It doesn't take long to learn the platform, and get comfortable using GraphPad.

Overall experience with version 8 has been frustrating.

Pros

I have used Graphpad Prism for a long ti,e. Very user friendly and outputs are of high quality

Cons

The new graphpad Prism 8 is a confusing jungle for me. Where the platform was well organised with tables, graphs, statistical analysis results easily displayed, all on one page - now one has to dig around to look for results of analyses. The display of a single set of tables and results at a time is really frustrating. Please take it back to what it was with version 7.
