The program is easy to use and can generate a lot of statistics and data without effort. The program also generate nice customized charts that can be exported very easy to any word document. It is easier to use than other comparable software such as Sigmaplot or Origin. Pros GraphPad Prism has a lot of built-in graphs and curve fitting that is suitable for scientific data analysis. The cloning wizard makes having multiple graphs with the same format very easy. Cons GraphPad does not deal with lots of data very well. September 22, 2021 5.0 Graphpad made my life easier. It is a great tool for data analysis and visualization. Pros Graphpad is my favorite software for running statistics. I love using it because it has so many features that fits any type of data. It also consider it one of the best statistical software when it comes to publishing research. I use it a lot for my research work when I perform Student-t test and regression analysis. Cons Graphpad is a great tool but it requires watching a lot for tutorials in order to know how to use it. Moreover I use Prism to generate almost all figures for scientific manuscripts. Pros Prism has essentially become a gold standard for graphing and statistics in academic research. It is quite easy to use and has allowed me to pick up new statistical analysis methods that I haven't previously used, which have been key to my past and current manuscripts. Cons There have been a few, more advanced post-tests that I initially had trouble locating, however the online user manual is easy to navigate and follow in order to find the tests I need. Pros Supports large number of statistical tests, excellent in guiding user to the correct type of analysis, great graphics, make is it easy to design any type of chart. Cons I have not identified any disadvantages with this software apart from inability to handle larger datasets and some common types of analyses for large datasets are not possible (i.e. PCA). There are many features available in GrpahPad and the software provides a powerful statistics package. Cons It will require some training and watching tutorials before your start using GraphPad for the first time. Cons Prism 7 and older spreadsheets operated a bit different than other programs and depends on the analysis that you want to do. Pros Prism is a very powerful statistic software that lets you do most statistical tests and data analyses someone in my field (biomedical research) is likely to need. A lot more advanced and powerful than Excel, it allows you to perform a multitude of statistical tests and to specify repeated measures, post-hoc tests, etc. Cons Need to know about the statistics you want to do. Pros The most amazing thing about this software is that the reporting and analytics is highly appreciated. Also, certain things like curating and accumulating of data is really amazing. Cons The least thing about this software is that it lacks publicity. There is some latency in this software but we hope, the Devs will look into it for future updates. To make fast test charts and statistical analysis is very good. I currently use it to handle data related to biological tests of chemical compounds. Pros The treatment is very simple in scientific data. For preliminary statistical and mathematical tests it is of great help. Cons The data can't be displayed simultaneously with the treatment graph.
