Easy to use statistical packages. Plots are professional looking without much tinkering unlike the defaults out of Excel. Cons Excel is still the standard in our work environment. I always use Prism to create figures for papers I write as they look great. Cons It can be a bit clunky to use, as data has to be formatted a certain way to fit the template sheets, and its not as convenient as Excel for moving data around. Sometimes it can take a while to find how to plot exactly what you want to. The result is very pleasing and can be used directly in a report. But sometimes preparing the data to be processed by Graph can be more time consuming than plotting them directly using code. Pros It is very ease to use and produces an instant result. The result is aesthetically perfect. No need for coding. Cons I find it difficult to import the data from my research work to graph them. It saves me time to graph them directly from the programming environment. Prism solved all the limitations that anyone can find in Excel. Importing data is very easy with Prism and I have flexibility of creating great customization charts. By far it is the most convenient software for making Dose-Dependent studies, the software can normalize your data and all the complex data will be calculated for you automatically. Cons The software is great but requires some tutorial. I wish if they can offer some online video tutorials that would save a lot if time. It saves so much time, energy, and critical thinking! Cons I honestly can't think of anything i dislike about Prism besides the price.
