We are a small business and By the time we had time to analyze the bills we had been take for a ride for almost a year which totaled a loss of thousands. Such a scumbag move. They could have have a customer for life and a good review. Pros While we used them in the beginning everything was ok. Cons As soon as your initial contract is up they do not tell you anything they just jack your rate up and continue to do so until you notice. I had just started my business and there were a lot of issues I had no experience with. I switched from Woodforest to Heartland years ago, I never changed to another bank although I have been contacted many times. Pros Your customer service is excellent, I have never had a problem with your associates. I have been a customer since 1996. Your rates are higher than some, but I know you are trustworthy and easy to contact. Cons We used to have a rep in our area. That was a great benefit and very helpful. This service was discontinued a few years ago. I really miss the extra help and guidance they provided. Reason for choosing Heartland Payments+ Heartland was reccommended by a business associate, also I was pleased with the Heartland reps I spoke to when I was considering transitioning.
