### "Almost 10 years of use and very happy"

Overall been very happy with Heartland Payment Processing. When we have had questions or concerns, their customer support has been exemplary.

Pros

Very, very, little downtime. In nearly 10 years of use we have had very few problems. When it has been down it was usually part of a broad, countrywide issue rather than Heartland.

Cons

Some of the interface seems a little antiquated. It's functional, it just seems a little dated. Not a big deal really.

### "Great Customer service "

Good. Nice customer service reps. Delivery was great.

Pros

Timely processing, along with helpful agents and easy access to the website. Good delivery time even with short notice.

Cons

I was unable to make changes once submitted. No grace period for a change and health ins. could only be every 2 weeks.

Reason for choosing Heartland Payments+

Just started the company and heartland is a well known name.

They provide complete test cases and test API to verify and implement a solution.

Cons

Their API is not consolidated to dll , so you need to manually make changes for the update.

Overall the system is easy to use and easy to train new employees in.

Pros

The processor is easy to use. It makes accepting payments from customer easy in person and over the phone.

Cons

I do not have any concerns with the system at this time.

It didn't really matter that the dashboard was overwhelming because customer service has been phenomenal. From the tons of time the first person took to help me decide if Heartland was a good fit and understand the fees to my current assigned helper who checks in with me from time to time to see if I have any questions. She also scheduled a time for a tutorial so I'd know exactly how to change my salary or pay date if I need to.

Pros

While I can write myself a paycheck out of my own business' account, I dreaded doing the UI and Withholding paperwork. Plus, my company is growing and I plan to bring on employee(s) in the near future. So I was thrilled to set this up and move this burden off my shoulders.

Cons

The dashboard looks a little overwhelming.

Pros

Customer service has been top notch with clarity and ease of communication. The system is easy to use also with payment processing and deposits.

Cons

I had been reached out by the sales rep multiple times even after we had a discussed several times my plan of action with the company and its utilization.

Pros

I think my favorite feature is being able to email/text the receipt straight from the platform. This creates seamless communication with the customers

Cons

I personally haven't had issues with the software as I use it on my work computer, I know the mobile app has issues for the crews using them in the field.
