Generally it is easy-to-use and works. Pros Paychex provides a (generally) easy-to-use portal to access payroll and benefits information. The interface is clean and documents are easy to find. Cons Paychex went through a transition period from the old website (using flash) and some ends are still not tied up. A couple of sections are still hard to navigate and authentication between subsites is not smooth. Claims submission for reimbursements of FSA or HSA are not streamlined and the process often causes more work that it should. Review Source MA Matt A. Pros Makes keeping track of employee vacation times easy to manage without unintended overlap. Digital time clock makes tracking hours and attendance a breeze. Cons Honestly no real complaints. Most of my issues are a result of poor internet connection at times. Cons Who designed the log-in, log-out system? It looks nice, but starts to fall apart the second you use it. Four buttons - log in, lunch in, lunch out, log out are all clumped together at the top. Even the tiniest movement of the mouse will have you logging out instead of lunching out. What's worse - when you try to navigate the lump of icons, they shift around, changing size to expand the one your mouse is currently on. This makes it even more difficult to choose the correct option. Simple mistakes have serious consequences. If you've work 5 hours and try to click "lunch," but accidentally click "log in" again, you lose your 5 hours and it resets to 0. Why? Our managers spend so much time fixes mistakes that could easily be avoided with the smallest design tweak - if Paychex would just put in the tiniest effort. Review Source SM Sarah M. Cons No help, lost my representative last summer and do not have a replacement although a former employee i have never spoken with is listed as my representative. I can't imagine using any other software in my everyday life at work. Pros I love PayChex! They make is easy to keep track of my paystubs, benefits, and PTO. I use paychex everyday to clock in and out and to make time off requests. It makes everything so simple. Cons I wish they wouldn't do maintenance on the site as often as they do. Cons Sometimes you run into an issues and your representative is out of the office you may get someone else who is not aware of the issue. The most frustrating issue was the Paychex employees and implementation team used the same terminology for different products. (Implantation is complete, but still tweaking some options.) This time, attendance and payroll system will ultimately automate at least three manual processes:. PTO tracking for physicians, entering holiday hours for each employee and tracking points for our attendance policy (very time consuming). It's a very good solution for my clinic! Pros Transferring time and attendance to the payroll module is significantly easier compared to their other platforms. I review employees' timecards 1 - 3 times a week and find them very easy to read (again comparatively). Cons There is not a way to track and pay independent contractors on the exact version I use. Less obvious but frustrating is the required date format. For example, many sites I use can be 7/3/20. This site requires 07/03/2020. (A pet peeves of mine.) Pros the integration features is amazing, the solution services offered for business is critical and helps businesses in many different ways, helps with reducing you business cost, the best software for your business accounting, the very thing i love the most is all the tax features making it easier business at a critical time of the year. This is a good place to check current and past stubs. Easy to view + print whenever I need a document. Pros I like the ease of use - as an employee, I usually use this website/app to look at my pay checks when needed and to see my available sick and PTO counts. Cons When accessing Paychex Flex on a desktop, I kind of got confused where the main log in page was. I was always directed to another branch of Paychex. The user interface is pleasing and two factor authentication makes for good security. Cons This software has a built in time out function that prevents you from clocking in or out once it is timed out - you have to go through the extensive login process.
