However, I do like certain aspects of the program and would prefer to keep the program. Pros This payroll platform is decent, has many good features, and the payroll processing is easy. The HR tools provided are very helpful. Cons Our payroll specialist is always absent, there have been many errors regarding our account when it comes to taxes, and it seems that other representatives aren't willing to help. Overall I would describe my experience as FAIR. The HR business partner feature. Our rep is extremely knowledgeable, helpful & relatable. It cost a little extra but the advise given is worth it & has helped me with terminations, leave absences, discipline issues, etc Cons Some basic reports are not available. Ou Time & Attendance rep changes often & without prior notice or a reason for the change. Cons Don’t like how there are separate logins for different functions. Also some of the actions are not intuitive so I feel we have to click around a little to figure out how to do things. It's helpful having everything—like taxes, benefits, and employee info—in one place. The customer support team is also responsive and usually quick to help. Cons The system can be confusing at first, especially if you're not familiar software. Some features feel buried in menus or hard to find, and reporting tools could be easier to customize. The process is seamless and its such a user friendly program to navigate. Cons The only con I have with Paychex Flex is it's always easier to access on my computer than on my phone for some reason. Cons At times while the interface is simple a seemingly easy to navigate, I do find some things hard to locate and confusing. For example, past check stubs are not found within the My Pay section or the pay history sub-section but can be found via one's homepage dashboard. These confusing choices can be frustrating from an end-user perspective. I'm assuming the platform is fairly cheap and easy to implement, compared to some competitors. Review Source AS Audra S. I used both sides of the service and never felt like it was difficult to use. Pros This HR/payroll tool is easy to use for both the HR team and the users. It's very intuitive. Employees can easily update their own banking information and access their pto and pay stubs easily. It's also easy for office staff to make updates. Cons Like so many office software programs, there are many opportunities to add services which really brings the price up. It costs more for training and benefit administration, and for time tracking. Make sure you look at the whole cost before you switch to it.
