Used the software for: ### "" November 7, 2012 4.0 We use eCW version 9.0. It is a great EMR/PM software. The PM side is excellent with the billing aspect merging well with Gateway EDI clearing hourse. The EMR side is good for providers. Providers using EMR for the first time can easily learn this system since most part of it utilizes the clicking method. There is a lot to the software that our practice has not explored yet. We are presently attesting for the 2nd year of meaninful use for 2 providers and the 1st year for another 2 providers. GroupOne has a great training schedule and implementation team. Support sometimes takes long time to respond to a ticket. But eCW manual and help tools makes it easier for one to learn more about th software and fix minor issues. Overall the system has an excellent PM software and EMR software is great. I recommend to small businesses with up to 10 providers. " January 31, 2015 4.5 Pros eCW is a comprehensive product that flows well and is functional in most practice settings. It can be individualized to each provider with ease. Group One is a great billing company as our service provider, offering a fair service for a fair price. They also balance the practice's and the patient's interests well. Cons eCW is a large product that can be overwhelming at first, and there's a lot to learn if someone is a novice to EMR software. The eCW support can be slow to respond and difficult to understand. They work on their own time when it comes to interfaces. Group One has a lot of staff and sometimes the communication is inconsistent. Review Source BD Ben D. The software has several shortcuts and tools to make documentation fast and headache free. Past data is easily accessible from most screens, even while writing a current note. Cons The only part of the software that could use improvement is the creation of Care Plan. There are a few too many steps and it is a bit time consuming. It's a good option for small practices that do not have exiting IT infrastructure capable of handling an in-house EMR system. You can access it anywhere but your data is safe and managed for you. Cons Getting logins and support is sometimes a challenge. Applications that run in the cloud sometimes come at a premium price as you are paying for the service of others to maintain it. As a health care facility more time should be spent treating and providing care for patients instead of being on the phone with technical support. The technical support, for the most part, seems to have a lot of language barriers and they require a third party communication avenue to communicate with the computers. Both our administration and clinical staff find It is very easy to use. It provides all the options you could ever need. Our GroupOne representative, Patricia Brodie, is awesome! She is very attentive and available to our office. She is very knowledgeable, informed, and helpful. She works with a sense of urgency for our office, has great follow up and attention to detail; she is very professional and amicable too. Nurse Medical Practice Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "eClinical Review" May 14, 2015 5.0 Pros Well because I work front office and back office for front office it's pretty easy to register patients and put insurance information in the system and to verify the insurance which is done by the system also for as back office the system will drop patient's vitals in the system and it also shows how long a patient has been in office starting from check in to check out. It's also easy to order certain labs that needs to be done before seeing the doctor such as glucose finger stick, pregnancy test etc and it's also is easy to put it in the system as well. Cons I don't like the fact that CPT codes doesn't appear in the visit note so for instance if doing a prior authorization you have to search for the code and you have to be sure to have the right one. Literally anyone can learn it quickly and if you didn't grasp it the first time, it is made very easy to figure out without having to call eClinicalWorks. Another thing that I like about eclinicalWorks is that it makes registering the patient very easy and fast. Since we have the ability to scan in the demographic info, such as the address, name, DOB, and picture it makes it soooooo easy. Cons What I don't like about eClinicalWorks is that it's way too easy to create a double chart. Also sometimes the system/scanner doesn't recognize the address characters or the spacing on our state's id/dl. But it doesn't take away that it helps tremendously when registering a patient. So far the system has been easy to learn and navigate. Pros Easy to use, quick adaptability, images integrate easily Cons Customer service hasn't been easiest to work with. Used the software for: ### "" November 10, 2012 4.5 Aloha Cardiology, llc became a solo practice in 2008. We were looking for an easy to use EMR that would be easy to grow with our practice. We wanted to outsource our billing to a company that would always be working for our best interest. After a weeks training with a certified EMR trainer we were able to run a clinic to capacity within a month. We have found eClinicalWorks to be easy to use and help our inter office communication with each other and other Physicians. Our EMR cuts down on paperchasing of old chart systems and ensures everything is billed correctly. With insurance decreasing reimbursements no one can afford to miss billing. We used this system, and it is a great EMR system. Everything is convenient and right there. I would not change to another EMR system, especially if you have to go back and forth through systems to do your work. eClinicalWorks EMR is a great way to go and have this in your reach. It was a little difficult in getting up and running for the back end business office. The clinical side worked beautiful from the start. The product itself is a very good product it was just getting it to work for us, which we are on track for doing that. Group One has been wonderful in helping us make EclinicalWorks work for us. They have helped show us different things on the back end to have the system do what we need it to. I would recommend Group One and the product EclinicalWorks to anyone thinking of going electronic. My doctor was previously part of a group practice and decided to go out on his own. He learned of eClincalWorks from several colleagues that use this same software. After some research, he decided to proceed with installation through GroupOne Health Source. While the actual installation and training took a while to get scheduled, once the installation was complete, they did a fabulous job of training us and have continued to provide great support. The interface is, in my opinion, very user-friendly and self-explanatory. When I do have a question or problem, I usually receive resolution very quickly.
