Pros Format and info displayed is easy to read. "If" it is not crashed or it hasn't deleted your sign-on or passwords Cons Not reliable always crashing. Takes forever for patients to load and log on. The progress notes look very sharp, and it has so many bells and whistles. It’s easy to navigate. ECW is also up to date on all the newest versions so everything is compatible. Pros This software has a wide range of options for medical practices. There are many functions available. Support always follows up on any tickets/issues. We had numerous issues with our front office who have no billing knowledge. She did a great job helping them learn what was necessary to work handle billing items. May 23, 2015 5.0 Pros What I like best about this software is how practical and at the same time, complex it is designed. This software is designed so that anyone can use it. It interacts well with other devices, such as copiers, and telephones. Cons What I like least about this software is that the program freezes and you have to log completely out, to restart the program. The page sometimes do not load. Cons The biggest problem is that they changed the scanning system for version 10. It makes retrieving and printing specific reports very difficult. The previous scanning system was excellent. THe software itself is easy to use and does a lot of the work for you. There are updates constantly being performed on the back end to keep up with the changing climate of healthcare. Was with them for a year or so, problems all along and then when you leave look out! Saw the errors with billing and payments, you get to call India and speak with someone(anyone) who is clueless about where your hard earned money may be. They do respond to support tickets on time, but you have to generate awfully high number of tickets because there are so many issues and problems you can run into. Cons Customer service is non-existent. They talk to you in a very non-professional tone and make it very obvious that they are in this for the money. August 6, 2015 2.0 Pros If everything is working, it works fine. Able to access records from multiple locations. Cons On a daily basis at least one person in this 3 physician office has problems. Usually several people in the office have to restart because ECW freezes. Also, features will mysteriously stop working for a day or two, and then just as mysteriously start working again. Quick to learn, even without guidance. Also easy to find the specific things (including reports) you need. It is great to have charts and scheduling in one program.
