### "Post Go-Live Implementation is a headache"

Simple problems and questions are quickly answered (generally with-in one day) but more complex problems or implementing new programs takes months and the projects often get lost in a run-around of tech supports.

Pros

Ease of scheduling patients and reviewing labs/imaging/documents.

Cons

Implementing new features often takes months of back and forth with tech support.

### "Great System "

If users are willing to use to full capabilities, this system is great! Reduce time needed for outgoing referrals, no more need for the receptionist to make patient reminder calls. ECW is geared to really work with your patients. Patient reminder calls, text when RX's are sent to the pharmacy, patient recall is great for our pediatric office. It is much easier to contact our patients that are grouped into ages for needed visits and vaccines.

ECW flows well from health management to practice management

Cons

Customer service knowledge of what a physician's office needs, is lacking

Pros

I love how easy it is to use! I started working in the medical field in 2014 and was completely green with the software. I had it down pat well before my 90 day orientation was up.

Cons

eCW has a tendency to suddenly crash, which is pretty inconvenient for a busy medical clinic.

overall, I feel its a great system and I would recommend it.

Pros

The software is very easy to navigate through. This program offers a ton of training videos. The help is great as well, you can place work orders threw the system of there is the option of live feed back (online chatting). I have used this several times.

Cons

Not everything is black and white. I find it more useful to ask for help instead of trying to find it in the videos because there are so many and you can get lost.

Pros

Maybe if the healthcare facility you were at ONLY had a clinic and no other departments this program has to talk to it would be fine, otherwise don't bother

Cons

We got eCW in our facility because it was a cheap option to our problems. They promised a lot of things and never delivered on them. The system DID NOT play well with others. We lost communication between departments frequently and it just plain old sucks. We are now on Epic and love it in comparison

Pros

How convenient and easy the program is to to use I also liked at the shortcuts fir details for the dr

Cons

Lack of ability to work on Multiple screens at a time such as if I was trying to input an issue with someone’s DEXA scan I would have to get out of the original note and write it on a piece of paper to remember it close that window and open a new one

if working, billing is great. very slow system. you get tired of waiting to load the page and clicking. billion clicking, you will become slave of the system

horrible speed and can not understand support system. i wish i would not chose this system to start with.

Pros

Great for scheduling and basic functions. The color coding by provider is very useful.

Cons

Takes a lot of clicks to get to where you want to go and system does crash a bit more than what I think is acceptable.

I really like the front office, back office end of it. We use eClinical Works for everything in our office. the scheduling is very user friendly.

Cons

Not a good billing system. way to many key strokes and takes way longer to do most things then I would like it to do.

The software works for some just not for us. We have had it for 3 years.

Pros

There is a lot to ECW. It may be very good for some practices. It is robust in some ways. It is easy to log into.

Cons

Just because a product/software is robust doesn't mean it is applicable to all. Very click intensive. For a new person, it is very cumbersome. Reports are the worst part. The info is simply not there. If i want ECW to create something specific, they charge and unreasonable amount.

Pros

This software has a very user friendly interface, and is easy to navigate. The ability to view EOBS directly on a claim, leave claim specific notes to that claim and the easiness to balance out a claim/ patient balance makes it very pleasant to use as a medical biller. The scheduler tool is also very easy to use and is easy on the eyes. Overall it is a great software, and I would highly recommend it.

Cons

The software's reports are difficult to view since the changes made about a year ago. They require you to open an outside reporting website via internet explorer, and re-log in with your eClinical credentials. The way the system was prior to this, made it capable to generate reports within the EMR system. Just so you are aware, the support team is located over seas, and can be difficulty to reach at times.

I am part of a three-person, multispecialty group that began using eClinicalWorks as part of a package from Group 1 Health Source which provided the EMR licensing as part of its billing package. Overall a good move. The telephone messaging system works very well, allowing for preset and ad lib orders of medications, labs, and imaging. Laboratory order tracking in our office has improved markedly. The visit summary, which includes a medicine list at the end of each visit has been well received by our patients. The capacity to send a medical summary to the emergency room or not a physician, or for the patient's own records has been extremely well received. That being said, we find this program labor-intensive to begin use. Templates are somewhat difficult to develop. The viewing areas for one's HPI, medicine list, and other prose boxes for typed /pre-typed/ dictated material are very limited. I am sure that this system would provide more, but like so many of us, the time to teach yourself to excell with this program, after just learning enough to get by, is a steep order. Re: tech support, there are distinct individuals that are spot on and really know the system:they are fantastic. However the majority of the technical support is not US-based, and their most common reaction is to provide you a workaround and not a solution. We have been using the system for two years and may end up using it as part of a larger organization. Albeit I have critiques of the system, however I have heard HORROR STORIES about other systems. All things being said, I would prefer using the system again above others that I've seen and heard about.

Its good in regard to claim, billing, and low subscription fees. Can't list any other benefit. Instead of saving time, I had to waste time in understanding the the ticket response is too slow compared to other similar softwares.

Pros

The best thing about this software is that many clinics/physicians can be integrated, and it is easily customized. Monthly subscription service is a great for my small business.

Cons

Sometimes even after upgrading, I don't have access to all features, customer care is near-terrible. EBO is pretty much hard to understand.

Cons

If a new version is released and there is a bug - god help you because the company has taught employees not to commit to a time frame with customers. Currently I am unable to edit my treatment plan section because of bug they have and it has consumed so much of my time. They would not fix it, nor would they give me time frame. Software just freezes and closes.

I helped start up eClinicalworks at the office that I worked at. They were extremely helpful (I worked with other EHR products that were not as helpful). It was easy learning the front end and the back end. I had little trouble doing templates. I would recommend this program to everyone. I do not have any relationship with this company except work at a different office than what I work today .

Everything it was easy to learn and it was easy to teach patients how to connect to it.

After a few years in healthcare, eClinicalWorks, though not perfect, is one of my favorite to use.

Pros

I like the ability to log telephone encounters. It is helpful to be able to log conversations between employees or log your own notes pertaining to a subject but under the patient's account to keep everything consolidated and streamlined.

Cons

It is not the easiest interface to work with. Lots of options brings lots of buttons and it gets a little confusing. Also, I'd like a feature to tabulate a log of patients from a certain doctor, or log of patients who have pending appointments.

Customizable. Choices of software resellers with high levels of support. Resellers have the opportunity to provide practices with teams of A/R support.

Cons

May be complicated to some practices that are not experienced with how PM systems work. There are many options to customize that may not be fully understood when onboarding.

I can't believe it. eClinicwork does not have spelling check function like Microsoft word. An EMR program dose not recognize work Medicine!!!

Pros

Trainer or IT support called back the same day or next day. A lot of functions. Cloud based. Lot in anywhere.

Cons

In most sections, there are NOT red under line to indicate incorrect spelled words. NO right click for suggestion function. It is very frustrating for our staff and Physician assistant students. They have to use Microsoft words to type medical history and copy-paste into eclinicworks section There is NO spelling check working like microsoft word. When clicking ABC for spelling check, the program does not recognize common word, such as medicine, fax, nausea etc.

Pros

It is fast and they use a 3rd party-iTelagen for help. They are excellent but the eCW team is not responsive and difficult to communicate with.

Cons

The eCW customer engagement is terrible. They make promises to call back and don't. They make it difficult to contact. Several support staff are difficult to understand their English. It is inadequate and I would not recommend this software.
