I find that often the response time in accessing different pages or reports is very slow. It seems there is a need for a more robust server. The UI is relatively easy to use and you are able to do most of what you can on the their website. Since we are mostly salaried employees, I have people in the office who will wait awhile and submit several at one time. One-time-consuming function, TrackSmart is very easy for both the Administrator and Users to log in and use. Cons Unfortunately, when I click on the time sheet icon, it just brings you to a breakdown of weeks by date. I can sort to simplify but it would be a lot nicer if I could click on the time sheet icon and get just the time sheets waiting for approval. Review Source NP Nick P. However, many of the features that I wanted are upgrades that cost more $ that I was not aware of when I signed up. I do wish more features were included for what we pay and it would be nice if the site worked much faster. That's the one thing that drives me crazy. Used the software for: ### "Using Tracksmart to be ahead of the game. " December 2, 2016 5.0 I truly love Tracksmart and all its features. I love that I am able to show my employees their attendance reports. I am able to track how much leave they have left and certain patterns from employees (i.e. the employee who is always off or late on Wednesday). Before using Tracksmart I was entering leave on a spreadsheet. That was so time-consuming. Now, if an employee calls out I put the absences in Tracksmart. Also, I like that employees can email me their time off request in advance. Tracksmart is a wonderful tool to use for your company whether it's big or small. Review Source FB Florence B. December 5, 2016 4.0 We introduced this system about a year ago for our small business because we have remote employees and needed a centralized system for our time recording. TrackSmart was very easy to roll-out and required a user-friendly set-up. We've been using it and would not change a thing, with the exception for more reporting capabilities. Employees have their own login info to request time off. I get instant notification of pending requests and can approve or deny immediately. The calendar view gives full view of all absences. Used the software for: ### "Cost Effective PTO Management Option" December 20, 2016 3.0 As a company who processes payroll internally, we were looking for an effective and easy tool to use to manage PTO across our many locations. TrackSmart PTO did just that. It's incredibly simple to use and while we did create a handy guide, most new employees and supervisors hit the ground running on the platform before they've even finished reading it. Our only complaint is that the software is not very customizable and does not offer the option to export PTO days to a calendar like iOS or Outlook. Review Source JN Joseph N. Attendence, Scheduling and Time Clock need to be a single integrated system with no dual entry. It needs to integrate with Outlook. Adding a calendar entry to the email should be simple enough. Pros I really liked how easy this software was to use. It’s very simple and it’s an easy way to track attendance. I have been using it for about 5 years now and it still meets my expectations. I especially like the reports section- when an employee asks how time they have used or is left over, you can quickly generate a report for them and send it to them electronically! Used the software for: ### "Good solution for small business, needs a few more features" December 2, 2016 4.0 Our experience has been very positive until we got shut off as a result of Tracksmart not processing our credit card automatically, as we signed up for and had been done for many years. To get it back on, our CFO had to spend 20 minutes on the phone with a rude rep who said it was out fault. They also cut off our service 1 day prior to the year expiration.
