Pros: TeamWork is really easy to use and can easily be setup for various projects (with timelines and messages focused on those projects).

Overall: Being able to communicate with our development team on projects, timelines, and expectations, while being able to share assets and have that conversation available to review (and search) is so beneficial.

Pros: I love the all-in-one nature of this product. We manage our documents, take notes, create a project plan, share messages, comment on documents. I love that we can limit the privacy of things so we can allow the client to see some things, but to restrict things to internal use only on others, and that we can edit documents within the software to keep track of versions and their edits.

Cons: I wish it had PDF markup ability like the integration with Microsoft office products. But that's a minor thing.

Overall: It organizes projects and keeps things all in one place. We have simplified and streamlined our processes as a result.

Pros: Always improving in project management tools; in the software platform; in mobile use and supporting education institution with special price.

Cons: In the tool SET PROGRESS, I can't select 25% and 75%. For example: for projects with reports quarterly, 25%, 50% and 75% are common level for report progress. But Teamwork just let select 10 by 10, not 5 by 5 the % of progress for an activity.

Overall: Teamwork allowed me to manage projects in a way where colleagues can report their progress from any place and time, in addition to being able to generate reports for regulatory compliance.

Pros: The ability to have a to-do list that is shared with specific people and has features to allow conversation on a topic and tagging users makes managing people and projects easy.

Cons: The issue is with the mobile app only. Online is good but the app is just really difficult to navigate.

Pros: I really think Teamwork has come a long way since I first looked into it. The functions are all there and easy to use and learn. This software sure covers everything for covering projects. I like the way things are organized in the software. I also really like that Temawork has a mobile app and the app has a lot of capabilities.

Cons: The cons are really minimal. I would like to see more adherence to the PMI Framework but that is just a personal preference.

Overall: I love the built in risk register.

Pros: The customizing of each task - due date, importance, repeat, sub-tasks, multiple people, etc. It's also a fairly clean interface.

Cons: It can be a bit complicated for employees who aren't super computer savvy and takes some figuring out to get set up properly. You also have to navigate back to the main page to switch projects and you can't add tasks on your own personal list.

Pros: The program is easy to use, has a good tutorial and help section, the features included allows the user to simply track tasks or even track budgets.

Cons: At this time, I do not have any cons, as it works perfectly for me. The one thing I am a little nervous about is managing multiple projects in the software.

Pros: Easy to bring various employees, clients, etc onto a project
ability to link to google drive for project files
easy to set up projects/ define templates to use repetitively

Cons: Difficult to limit who has access to what, either global (everyone can view) or entire groups can't but harder to select just an individual or two
linking to google drive is actually where the files are copied over, if the google files are ever updated they do not copy over (big problem as we use google doc & numbers a lot and the files on teamwork are always out of sync)
no ability to create a project and assign template tasks, have to create the project and then manually add the templates

Pros: Greate feature set, robust and price performance is good. There are plenty of integrations plus the recent office 365 integration was a great addition.

Cons: Chat must be a integrated more tightly with the project and maybe even with the desk. Also a few software development related integrations can become a game changer. For example bitbucket or github integrations can help software developers to create better workflows centered on teamwork projects.

Overall: We can better analyse and predict project timings, we meet more deadlines. We do share technical information more easily .

Pros: Tasks with milestones.
Attaching notebooks and files to individual projects.
In-project emailing and comments.
Being able to move tasks up and down the pages, from task to task.

Cons: Can NOT put a milestone to a sub task??!!! This is very important for us as Project Managers; to be able to sub divide up project work.
Also, trying to set up a task with set hours which count down as the project processes. I'm sure it's there somewhere but it's not easy to find!
Giving some sort of training would be good.... anything I've found on-line is basic.
This is how you grow your business.... provide training for what you have existing!!
Trying to use the program on a mobile or ipad is next to impossible, there has to be an easier set up?!
My projects show go in alphabetical order, not my clients.
I have set up a template for a project, but it comes in under a main task so have to move them all across as I can't set up mile stones under subtasks!!!!!

Overall: Keeping track of projects start dates and finish dates.
But not everyone keeps track of their hours using it.

Pros: The ability to collaborate with my customers has been a real asset. As I deal in road haulage compliance and there are a myriad of individual tasks and sub-tasks to keep track of, it has enabled me to create templates from which I can create individually tailored lists for my customers.
I have introduced the software to 5 or 6 clients now and have received positive praise from all of them. I really like the overview as it keeps me and them on track and the daily notifications focus the mind on late tasks.
I recommend Teamwork Projects to anyone that I think may find it useful - I certainly do.

Cons: To be honest, I struggle to find anything bad to say about it ...

It would be a useful tool to be able to sort files into folders, but I suppose that is a development suggestion rather than a dislike.

Overall: Managing compliance for multiple companies with a few templates. Awesome!

Pros: 1) We are an agency with many projects going on all the time, and it's quite easy to get newcomers to join the projects, in spite of the initial reluctance when a new tool is introduced. 2) The platform is constantly developed further - but not changing on a daily basis, you don't have to fear what you see every time you log in.

Cons: The look and feel is rather boring, and the mobile UX is inferior. (META: Also I don't like open replies with minimum character count.)

Pros: Any issue that you have during the management of a task can be handled by the teamwork projects tool.

Cons: There are so many different features that it's hard to know how to truly get the most out of the tool.

Pros: Good for internal planning and task allocation for work,
Easy to work with as a group.
Decent report of the timesheets.

Cons: Lacks more advanced project planning, like resources, and resource allocation controls.
Gantt chart view is not easy to use or conveniently exported.
Would like to assign resource cost and personnel cost on the actual person.

Pros: User friendly task management, great reports and layouts to easily see where things are. I like that Teamwork Desk works with Teamwork Projects because it helps our organization with managing requests and the tasks associated with them.

Cons: I don't like that if you use both Project and Desk, if you want to get the enterprise version, you need to pay to upgrade the same users on both systems in order for them to work together. Also, I think there should be an easier way to use templates to create tasks so that it generates the individual emails that can be replied to, like a regular task. Right now, it generates one email when template is used to create tasks and users cannot reply. We wanted to use this functionality to manage our Emergency Response events, but due to the limited functionality with this we are not able to set it up the way it would be easiest for us.

Overall: Centralized task management, which we did not have prior to purchasing the product.

Pros: TEMPLATES.
Recurring tasks.
Easy to use.
Feature rich. Everything you guys stood for. Not bloated like JIRA.

Cons: It did not cater to executives needs. I still loved the product (I hate JIRA), but it Teamwork was missing the bells and whistles executives needed to sign-off for continued use of TeamworkPM. I didnt need the integrations with Salesforce, payroll, roadmaps, pagerduty, logstache, zendesk, KPI's/SLA management, but THEY did.

Ease of use when creating tickets actually. No security for who could create what made for a 'noisey' backlog
No Team Backlogs
Support for sprints/agile.
Gantt functionality was weak.
Team Calendar was okay, not easy to use cross functionally.

Pros: Gantt chart, calendar exporting, and emailed reminders of upcoming milestones. It is very user friendly and intuitive - tutorials are nice but not required for mastery. Accessible anywhere from any computer.

Cons: The gantt chart is fickle with respect to accidentally moving tasks with mouse clicks, and there is no undo feature for when that happens. I would LOVE to be able to link milestones to subtasks or even sub-subtasks. Similarly, it would be nice to link more than one milestone each task/subtask.

Pros: Allows me to manage my projects and manage my clients projects in the cloud. I like the timer and the billing feature too. This review thing is not working properly and making me type more then needed

Cons: Doesn't integrate with dropbox on the level I'm on. Also it would be helpful to be able to edit font size and colour in notepads and messages

Pros: Newly added feature which allows you to add sub tasks upto n level.
Adding quick comments is good.

Cons: Not a cons, but some suggestions:
- There is no option to import timesheet, so like no option that I can import timesheet from excel or CSV.
- How can we hide name or identity of my development team and client's team to each other?
- How can I mark multiple tasks as Completed together?

Overall: Not specific benefit, but made work management easier.

There is no way to hide just the identity of developers names to the client but you can add privacy settings to projects, tasks, messages, etc. https://support.teamwork.com/projects/search?query=privacy+settings The quickest way to mark multiple tasks as complete is using a keyboard shortcut (full list of shortcuts at the link below). Hover the mouse pointer over the task and press "c" to mark as complete, if you make a mistake just press "c" again to unmark the completed task. https://support.teamwork.com/projects/efficiency/using-keyboard-shortcuts. Pros: Clean, simple. Project management is well done and easy to handle. Gantt chart is super simple, based on tasks and tasklist.

Cons: Lack integration with other saas (zendesk, freshbooks, capsule crm, ...), if I can aggregate the info we have in other web app, I will stay in Teamwork all the day.

Pros: The task funcionalities are amazing and the task templates are a huge game-changer for us. We're able to setup similar projects and tasks in minutes.

Cons: Some alert flexibility like being able to alert the task creator when somebody changes de due date of a task.

Comments: Overall its a good tool but need to improve the user experience.

Pros: Teamwork is a good tool to store the information for your project. You can create tasks and keep project details. But I do not think its best to manage the project communication among the team members. The only reason, I do not like this to manage project collaboration because it is not user friendly.

Pros: The UI is simple to understand, the number of efficient features is phenomenal and integrations with enterprise systems like Salesforce are easy to complete.

Cons: There are some small nuances of the search could be better, project specific calendars would be a huge asset and allowing an entire project to be imported by csv would be incredible.

Overall: It allowed me to manage multiple large projects at 1 time and collaborate with employees that were not heavy users. The ability to have tasks reoccurr and launch new projects from templates freed up staff to focus on other important areas of The business. The same account was used to manage multi service clients efficiently, especially with remote staff. The flexibility of privacy setting truly allowed for complete communication tracking without requiring communications being omitted to ensure a client didn't see it. As an administrator, I am able to take over a user account to manage every aspect of their account. Administrators can limit a users project view to only their assignments, which prevented a user from feeling overwhelmed.

The system is very flexible. Like many other PM systems, outlining how the users are expected to interact with the system is critical. Doing this, allowed me to migrate projects from Central Desktop to Teamwork in a week.

Comments: Overall, this program is very useful in organizing larger tasks. I find Google Keep better for small To-do list type tasks and Teamwork more useful for larger projects which will have several different tasks that may take several weeks to complete. Once you have set your templates and assigned collaborators to tasks, you'll find this is a very easy to use tool to organize and log events for various projects.

Pros: Integrates easily with Google Drive and many other applications. This allows you to "store" more files on the Teamwork database without actually using up the storage space. Easily assign tasks to cooworkers and monitor their progress live. Can even set email notifications when a task is assigned to you or made available for you to work on. Dependencies feature allows for the user to streamline flow of start to end for all tasks. You won't be able to work on a task until the one prior to is completed. The ability to create task templates makes it very quick and easy to add task lists with pre set dependencies and assigned collaborators.

Cons: Is a bit pricey compared to some other softwares but definitely has more features. New Gaant Chart feature is useful but not as intuitive yet. They are always working on updates so I'm sure it will be improved.

Strong software that has a lot of capabilities but lacking some essential services.

Pros: I was part of setting up TeamWork projects for the company I worked for so I know the software from top to bottoms and was the go-to for any company-wide questions. I really liked the ease of how to set-up recurring similar projects and be able to adjust timelines on many tasks with just a few clicks. One of my favorite features is the Gantt chart which allows the user to see a visual timeline of any project and adjust the timeline in the view as well.

Cons: There is a strong lacking of solid reporting features. I can get a very limited number of reports together but can't custom request specific assignees or specific tasks to check on. That ended up with g the biggest reason my company looked elsewhere for project management software.

Pros: This system is very easy to use. It helps keep our projects organized and on schedule. I love the chart view and being able to see the project milestones in relation to the overall project timeline.

Cons: We also use Teamwork Desk for support tickets, which is great because it links to our projects. However, if you're adding a support ticket and there is no project already open to link it to, you have to back out of this dashboard and go into the main teamwork dashboard to create the project.

Overall: Efficient project organization.

Pros: Easy to use and works great for what we need it to do: a central location where tasks can be signed out (and avoid someone duplicating a task), an easy way to identify due dates for each particular task (as well as track what is late), separate project folders to keep everything separate (as sometimes task names tend to be the same), can even be used for your own daily personal tasks to check off as you go. I like that as an administrator for the site I can see what is running behind and make the needed changes among the teams. Comments can be added anywhere as well and things link to email notifications if you want them to -- so nothing gets overlooked.

Cons: I guess I just don't know if I'm missing out on some of the functions -- I haven't had time to play around with it too much to see what else it can do.

Pros: Holds everything we need for a project in one place. Manages our staff, and clients. Password protection is nice.

Cons: I am a primary user in the software and use the program to set up clients and hold them accountable. The interface is very user friendly from my perspective within the platform, but for clients what they see is a bit goofy. You have to click around a good bit to get to the information you want.

Overall: Helps me keep everything organized and in one place, regardless of what device I'm on.

Pros: It is really easy to add tasks quickly using the "quick add" feature. I also think that the organization works really well. The software is organized by Projects, Milestones, Task Lists, and Tasks. These help you really think through and plan what you are doing. Milestones force you to actually have a plan for your projects and not just go about doing day to day tasks. You can comment on almost anything. We noticed after using Teamwork that it didn't make much difference if you were in the office or remote because the collaboration is so quick and easy. For example, if you comment on a task, you can have the comment sent to someone's email. The person who receives it can just reply to the email and the response is saved as a comment in the task! This means that all those conversations are right there for anyone working on it to reference. No more tracking down email strings. It is really easy to look back and see how much time you have been spending on a client. The time tracking features are also very good. You can see very customized time reports and the workload report, which gives you a forecast of the workload for future time periods. This helps you assign out work. Teamwork support is also top-knotch and very responsive.

Cons: I think they could offer to let you have 4 projects at a time instead of just two in the free version. It can be difficult to take advantage of all the features of Teamwork because it is so robust and has a lot of features.

Overall: It makes collaboration from many remote team members really easy. Nothing is forgotten and all communication is centralized in one place.

Pros: Combines all the features of different software we are using or tried in the past. Has the tools hard core PMs need to track a project but ease of use that a not technical user can appreciate. The built in collaboration tools are a nice feature as is the ability to store files.

Cons: I can't seem to get it to calculate a task start date based on due date and estimated time required as some other PM tools do. I have to manually do the calculation. It also doesn't automatically assign a project/task number which is a feature we'd like.

Overall: Easy to use project management tool.

Pros: More functionality then we had with Basecamp. This is one of the main reasons we started to look for other solutions. Basecamp just didn't cut it with our growing agency needs.

Cons: UI can be a little tough to get used to, but once you do, it's a great tool. We love the ability to create sub-tasks of sub-tasks. This was a must for our agency.

Pros: The main features i like are just the simplicity of the software. Each section just delivers what you want it to do. In comparison to most other systems i have used, you can create a task with a deadline and then subtasks for the main task but the ability to add a due date is never available on other software but it is on Teamwork. The reports and daily emailed tasklist are the real winners, they help enormously so you know exactly what to do in that day, week or months ahead.

Cons: Because there is SO much functionality, getting to know the system can take a while and sometimes you can even miss out on functionality because you try sticking to the basics. The only other gripe is the pricing, its great that its unlimited users but the pricing bands for the projects means that the price jumps quite dramatically at higher project levels.

Pros: I love how organized Teamwork is. One look and I can see the tasks and subtasks for the day. All the functions are there right beside the task name: the timer, description, due date, attached files, etc - everything can be accessed easily, unlike other PM tools where you need to pull up another 'window' to access their features.

I also love that it has a timer on its own, and you don't need to connect it to another app (AKA harvest time tracker)

Cons: Nothing I can't live without. It's not the prettiest pm tool out there - by pretty, I mean visually, aesthetically (think Asana). But I still think it's the best.

Pros: Ability to store all images/documents and messages in one place, ability to email directly through the project to team members while making the message public or private.

Cons: Inability to combine projects. The move/copy function makes it difficult and pops you back into the destination project each time. We sometimes have 2 projects created that later need to become one project and it is very time consuming

Pros: Constant Innovation, excellent UI and feature set, pricing is great. We once had a new PM who was considering changing our project management software away from TW - we almost had a mutiny on our hands for just considering another product.

Pros: Teamwork Projects is a software where I manage all my ongoing projects. I've been using it for over 5 years and switched from Basecamp (after getting frustrated with lack of features there).

My faves about Teamwork Projects is:

1. Integration with Google Drive and Dropbox - I can link files with each project
2. Creating tasks lists with sub items
3. Time tracking, with option to mark it as Billable (which is great for ongoing projects)
4. Notebooks & Links - to keep all project material in one place

Cons: I wish the plans didn't have project limitations. It has a limit of 15 projects.
For a solo freelancer the next plan is too much, but the limit of 15 projects plan often runs short.
(I typically need to manage 20 ongoing projects)

Overall: Manage all my work projects. Can't live without it :)

Pros: I love the fact that we can have hundreds of comments, emails and tasks flying around but they all end up in exactly the right place, making it easy to follow, and keep on top of, what we're doing.

Cons: What would be the icing on the cake for us would be the ability to email out to non-users and forward external emails as comments to tasks. We hit a brick wall when we're working on something with a client and he/she needs us to see an email received from an external party.

Pros: Good balance of feature-completeness and usability. Roles and permissions for users, so I can expose a dashboard to a client without having them see work that's not theirs. Optional timesheet.

Pros: We've increased our productivity and communications in just a short amount of time. The integration with Google Drive has helped us build processes to streamline our services and increase efficiency. They listen to our feedback and ideas and implement new features when needed. Love this app!

Cons: I wish the iOS apps worked offline for those moments where I'm away from any wifi and just want to capture a few throughts and create tasks.

Overall: Increased productivity and higher profit margins.

Comments: We chose it due its simplicity. We have evaluated different tools and other tools had more to offer but we decided this should be a perfect tool to get our consultants started with a web based tool.

Pros: Fast, easy to use and clear interface. The basics of task management combined with its built in time tracking tool will boost your productivity. I liked the kanban view and the price structure that allows invite customers users without paying more. The users permissions are power and flexible and it has all collaborative tools too. Easy to find files attached to tasks.

Cons: It has some extra tools as Billing or Calendar that are not really useful. Billing is not easy to use and Calendar are not synced with Outlook (it is possible to turn it off). It does not have Financial control (only time control) and very few reporting options. Time tracking view could offer a weekly view to help reviewing the data.

The Teamwork utility radically improves our project management capacity and to work as a team.

Pros: It is intuitive, personable and flexible, enabling us to communicate as a team or individually with team members while at the same time maintaining an archive of readily accessible documents and other project specific records. We like the admin controls over the software which are important in a multi project environment where team members may not have access to all areas. Recent updates to the software reflect the commitment of the Teamwork folk to ongoing, continuous improvement. As an organization we have under utilized our Teamwork account and with some substantive, positive changes in the pipeline, we can see that we need the powerful capacity of the Teamwork utility more than ever.

Overall: As a charity partner with Teamwork, the best for us in respect of our work with Teamwork is yet to come. We're excited as we have already experienced the benefits of improving team communications; managing work inputs and outputs; enhanced project management abilities and a greater sense of Teamwork within our team.

Pros: Ease of learning and use.

Overall: We have a twelve-day leadership program running for clients and we are able to easily insert around 130 tasks per client project from the templates that we have previously setup. We use these tasks in conjunction with Milestone which then shows up on our Google calendar. This allows us to easily reassign tasks and sub-tasks to a different date if the workshop has to be moved. This is done just by changing the milestone date and rescheduling the task and sub-task dates. Previously we were managing these projects in an Excel spreadsheet.
The ease of use and the quick grasp of the functionality that our part-time staff have been able to pick up with minimal training has been a huge productivity boost.
This productivity has also been boosted by being able to see tasks to be done in a week and being able to meet and discuss these tasks with each staff member.
I am also able to do all this remotely which is a real benefit.

Pros: Clear and easy to use. Lots of tools that work fantastically together, but also work just as well if used individually. As a platform, you can use as much or as little of the features as your project - or company setup - requires.

Cons: The file storage that comes with the subscription is woefully small in this day and age.
We once tried using the Google Drive integration, but this was not an ideal solution. I would much rather be able to integrate external drives at a project level as opposed to the overall platform subscription level.

Overall: I have been using Teamwork at different agencies for about eight years now. This is not because it has been the only available platform, in fact at some places I have had to use other platforms, so I know my choice of Teamwork is valid.
Over the last 18 months, I have integrated it into our SOP for creative and development projects to great effect. It provides all the tools we need and importantly helps us consolidate a number of disparate individual processes into one area. So regardless of the team, the project type or the chosen methodology, all documentation can be accessed from one place and all tasks can be initiated, tracked and managed in a clear and open way.
Frankly anyone not using a platform such as Teamwork is probably working a lot less efficiently than they realise.

Pros: Helpful features like messaging and calendar milestones; privacy settings help you control who sees what information; Gantt chart capabilities.

Cons: Can be difficult to get team members to learn the system and thus get them to use it, but this is a minor problem.

Overall: Teamwork Projects is a subscription-based, online project management system that tracks all tasks, messages, events, documents, and files for projects in one location. It is a great tool for team collaboration, project management, group work on a document or event, and archiving information associated with a project that all team members can access. The milestones calendar feature is a great way to keep track of due dates and remind team members of their responsibilities with a project. Helpful task templates allow a project manager to utilize frequently used templates across different projects. A Gantt chart feature is also helpful to take a comprehensive view of an entire project. Customer support is also very comprehensive. It is a superior product to Basecamp and other project management products I have used.

Pros: Easy to use right off the bat and easy for new employees to navigate quickly

Cons: Lack of detailed reporting or moreentricate task constraints and organization options

Overall: Great software that allows any size company a single program to accomplish many aspects of business from task management, customer portal, and document storage and organization. The customer service is outstanding- I almost always have a live person on the phone within five minutes or can do a quick live chat to get answers or report a bug. The program is missing a lot of reporting features though. It's hard to get the metrics we need about the time and money spent on specific tasks or types of tasks or projects. It's easy for any employee to pick up and start using. The customer-facing aspect could be more thought out and should allow some customizable details the company can share without being completely transparent about every little thing.

Recommendations to other buyers: Great for small companies that need one software to serve many roles and don't need complex structures on their projects.

Overall: We've continually been delighted by Teamwork's features and ease of use. My team has used a number of PM applications before but no other service has provided the same level of functionality that helps us manage our projects every day. And as a bonus, new useful features continue to be added.
We initially came to TW because we were looking for a PM application that would be easy to incorporate our clients into... features like having visibility by task and task templates have allowed us to manage dozens of projects simultaneously. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Teamwork PM to anyone else looking for a great and scale-able PM solution.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're new to setting up Teamwork, take some time to explore the features and determine how to set it up for your needs.

Pros: The way the task cascade it set-up, crm component

Cons: there is some resistance to use on teams and the notes sections could be improved.

Comments: Our foundation started using Teamwork about a year and a half ago. It was one of my first assignments when I came aboard to find a online sharing platform that has more capabilities than a Dropbox, for example.
I compared Teamwork to Basecamp and another online project management plateform that I can not remember at the moment. Teamwork, in my opinion, was the better version of basecamp. I am sure basecamp has caught up but, I have not interest in switching. Teamwork has everything we need. We have the 40 projects version. I love that we can customize the site. We love the active versus inactive to free up more projects, which we haven't even scraped the surface by using 10 projects. The annual fee is nominal for our orgnanization hundreds of organizations benefit because that's how our organization works, in partnership with other community based organizations. This software is a jewel. The customer support team is awesome. I just sent a helpdesk request the other week and within about 30 minutes someone has responded and I am pretty sure they are in a totally different time zone (night vs day). I can't say enough.

Overall: First of all my congrats to your service. It helped me a lot to become more professional and to have more control about whats going on financially (and what not). Nevertheless there are a few things I dont like about Freshbooks:

- When you have written a description and change the item/tasks , the description is deleted. sure, ther is a workaround (cmd+c) but it can be nerve wrecking when you are in a rush
- I would love individual reminder intervals and text per client
- The big advantage of german systems are the integration of your bank accounts and the automated check (money has arrived? has not?). Clients are irritated regularly because they get an reminder though they have already payed

Overall: It as been very helpful for the company in financial, time analysis and cost.
Nevertheless it would be a great improvement for the software if the Chat could be more efficient, the communication we have still to use either Viber or Whatsapp as the chat doesn't refresh at the same rate as others and there's no possibility of phone or video calling,
The communication for our setup is really important as we operate in 2 distant countries.
This would make the usage of Teamworks as fully integrated platform.

Other issue is that we use a @aap.company email address your survey doesn't allow to enter my company email that should be something to work out.

It would be great if you made SSO available to anyone on a paid plan. Other SaaS providers offer this. The expense of Enterprise licensing just to gain this feature is very prohibitive, which means that the user experience isn't as great as it could be, nor as secure as it could be.

Comments: I love teamwork and have been very impressed with the new features in the recent UI upgrade. I have found it one of the most easy to use intuitive systems in a long time, considering how much functionality it offers. I also love its flexibility as it has worked for every type of project we have worked on so far. However I have experienced quite a few bugs with the new UI so do feel the quality has slipped slightly in recent months. That said my colleagues tell me if I log them they will be resolved quickly!

Pros: The functionality to keep all project details, messages, and notes in one specific area. I especially love that there is a dedicated YouTube channel with informational videos.

Cons: I am dreaming of the day I could add another 'generic/open' field to the Project Settings area, so I could capture more information in an Excel report format.

Overall: Teamwork, I don't even know where to begin! This PM Tool moved our 300+ creative project schedules from gMail into one system. The phrases of 'send me that file,' 'how much did that cost', 'create a spreadsheet graph of everything, today' are a thing of the past! I truly feel this tool makes our department shine, and gives upper-management a 360 view of our day-today projects. Without being too over dramatic, Teamwork honestly changed my entire work life! The support is top notch, and I've ALWAYS received prompt answers. How can I give this product 10 stars?!

Pros: Great value. Love that it's unlimited users. Love the capacity to collaborate outside my company.

Overall: I love Teamwork. Only thing I would change is expand the mass-task-edit functionality, which is still very limited.

Pros: Feature packed, great value for money, quick and thorough customer service

Cons: Gantt chart features are basic and need to evolve more

Overall: Everyone in our team loves teamwork, its ease of use, functionality and features. There has been a marked improvement in team efficiency with the help of Teamwork including task tracking, scheduling, prioritizing, making sure everyone is on the same page, etc. The customer support is quick and thorough in their response and we definitely think that Teamwork is great value for money.

One issue however that needs further looking into is page loading speed. Sometimes, it takes longer than it should to load a page or for the page to reflect the changes/selections made. The slow page loading issue is especially apparent when launching the webapp, but sorts itself out after a few seconds. Definitely an potential area to look into for improvement.

Pros: Simple to: Use, Deploy, Comprehensive, Scalable, Feature Rich, Very Affordable

Cons: I would like to see more integration with other software -which will come as they grow.

Overall: 23 Years ago I began using Ecco Pro a group project manager in the office - pim for my medical sales company - I dreamed of one day having a system that could combine the entire enterprise, inside and outside, seamlessly working together like the Borge on Star Trek - Teamwork Projects accomplishs this goal like no other platform.
Teamworks also solves the two deployment challenges we faced with Ecco and Microsoft Project - learning curve and the minimum intelligence level required to use. Teamworks is simple to use while also having the comprehensive features of the more powerfull project managers.
Prior to Teamworks we had used a number of PM's inclunding basecamp. Basecamp was simple but limited.
Couple of other mentions: The Teamwork Team is constantly adding features at fairly quick pace. Tasks and sub tasks - critical paths all make sure you got your "i"'s and cross your "T"'s. I have a wish list but haven't submitted it because the Teamworks team is sure to have it on their Teamwork Projects Todo List.
Summary: Simple implementation, Simple deployment, Feature Rich, Start using today.
Don't ask your IT girl what she thinks, you won't need her to deploy Teamworks - IT is included in the price.
COST: Should be 10x the amount. We are a startup prefunding, when we get funded I would pay 10x what their asking.

Recommendations to other buyers: Stop looking, and use. We have tried the other platforms. You won't. Find lower cost. Or more features except with ms projects

Comments: Problems we identified:
1. Inability to keep one comprehensive list of all Partner contacts with all necessary details in a convenient to use and share format (external from Teamwork) - no personalisation with user profile entries.
2. Too many separate mailing lists to keep (e.g. roles under each project) ¿ mailing lists (e.g. role lists) do not get updated automatically when the main contact list is updated
3. Technical bugs:
a. recent precedent - losing half of contacts in lists of roles
b. many Partners not receiving emails (still goes to spam!)
c. impossible to save messages during editing
4. Duplication of documents as they have to be uploaded inside the project from which email is sent (e.g. a document from the Key documents section cannot be added to the email that goes to the Working Group) , Partners have problems with finding documents, as they are duplicated

This holds all the contact details of that company and it's users. Each user can personalize their profile, with contact details, avatars, job details, notes and more. 2. Regarding mailing lists - as long as you add the necessary people to a project and to a role then they will automatically receive email notifications provided you selected to email notify the person/ role in task in question. You do not need to keep email lists yourself, Teamwork Projects will automatically pull this information to notify your users. 3. I'll pass on all of these reports to the team. Pros: Everythign is "under the same roof", and could be used in all devices we need t use!

Cons: Could be more graphic designed, so it would be even more easier to use.

Overall: Everything works well and easy. We are satisfied to have TWP for handling tens and tons of projects with students in our University degree program of Media. First I tested this in my tiny company and then after we took this TWP for heavier use!

Cons: Few reminders, in my opinion. I would like to have pop-ups.

Overall: It is excellent for us. The super easy management of permissions and users is best Teamwork asset! Good job.
I have not tried the Customer Support, please do not consider it as honest.

Recommendations to other buyers: Interesting for me to save templates of "permissions" depending on the project or the person. Or copy the permissions from one person to another in the same project. Once you create a new user: copy permissions from X.

Using Teamwork has been a very useful and professional experienced. Even though it still is not used for all members of our company, those who had used it. Love It. They will never quit using it. !! In general we are very confortable and happy with it!! keep this momentum!!!

Recommendations to other buyers: I would like to link the Risk Module with the task performance. In other words, if ther is a task that has a direct relation with a risk issue, the system give us an alert message.

Comments: After spending months testing every SAAS project management software I could find on the Internet; Teamwork won hands down on user interface, ease of use, and features. Amazingly besides being superior in almost every aspect it also wins on price point. Customer support is instant and effective and feature updates regular. I have been using this system for 10 year on a number of big construction projects and also run my entire firm on it.

Comments: Teamwork Projects is the best suite of tools for PMs in small and midsize projects, with lots of features related to getting actual progress and keeping a team on track. It falls apart a bit when it comes to advanced risk management and also more detailed project plans, but with some clever use the good parts of Teamwork Projects far outshine this.

Pros: Time tracking, UX, hierarchy levels, and sub-tasks.

Cons: Genuinely there is nothing I can say that is a con about the software

Overall: I started using Teamwork in 2011 after having evaluated and tested it versus 9 other tools. It was the best solution then, and it still is now.

I've subsequently introduced it to the last company I worked at (to replace their existing tool), and to my latest company. The feature list is also constantly growing with incredibly useful updates and enhancements.

From a UX point of view, Teamwork is incredibly well designed, and the latest dashboard enhancements are testament to this. Being able to add team members, clients and external contractors is also hugely beneficial. You can provide access to the relevant projects and tasks, and also restrict certain features - such as time tracking.

I can't recommend this tool enough - different league to everything else.

Recommendations to other buyers: They have a free plan, where you only get a handful of projects, but you still get most of the features you will need. Give this a whirl and you will see why the tool is so fantastic

Pros: The "comlexed easyness" of the way of building quality projects.
The extensions in Chrome and Gmail - timesavers deluxe.

Cons: Still working on the onboarding of my non-tech clients to make it even simpler for them to follow, but it does actually not matter since they get an email daily on the progress.

Overall: I have used Teamwork for almost 2 years - trying other things on the side to see if there is somethings better out there - but my still my first choice.

I know about project tools, and they all are good, but they are too complicated and all fashion in their way of use - Teamwork has done something different - and while I tested it out I also tested multiple solutions.
They are constantly getting new features and optimizing reporting and UI and UX. The one thing I have been waiting for is the Kanban or Board that they call it - then it will be complete.
The cool thing is they are open about their roadmap - so I constantly reach out to push features through - I am sure they listen to us as customers because things happen all the time.

So let´s get down to business.
Pricing and solutions beats everyone else, trust me!

So what is it that makes it so good?
Teamwork Project - besides as everyone would expect a project tool - they have another mindset to getting things done - and building performing teams - that I do not find everywhere else. I believe others copy them and try to do it simpler - but then it is a lack of other features that you need in a professional system.
Since we have multiple projects, and we connect our clients and give them the overall by onboarding them to follow us in an easy way. We give them an ease of mind, and send them reports daily. So when we meet, we stop the chatter on where we are and can focus on how to go further.

We use Teamwork Desk for support sites - and can also build up support for my clients -so we can charge for and outsourced service, that makes their services extend further. Do you think they love it?

Teamwork Chat - I can be in contact down on pure tasks, and also the ability to create task as we speak. No waste of time.

But my favorite tools are the extensions in chrome and Gmail. Saves me time -and makes me be so effective that I have no words - That is why: Teamwork is True, My business is Teamwork, and Teamwork is my Teamwork!

Just a Butler gone Digital, and that is also true. I have high standards - and been digital for 40 years - so I know my ground. Thanks Teamwork!

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are in Business - it is actually so many ways you can even make money on putting together client packages to earn on the solutions features. In normal project tools - they are so costly or they lack features. With Teamwork Desk you can service the clients support as a member service. If you do not get the ideas from using it, talk to me - because I know.

Cons: Needs a more feature rich consistent reporting interface OR a choice of integrations for analytics services/applications

Overall: Threefold Systems have been using TeamWork for over two years now. We have looked at other systems such as Jira and Assana but none have come close to TW with respect to its flexibility and ease of use. Our developers and PM's find it easy to use and rarely have any issues with it. In addition the price point is just right and makes TW excellent value for money.

TW allows us to apply our own project management structure where other application force you to adopt their philosophy. This is important to us as our business environment is somewhat different to a traditional software development agency.

We have been impressed by TW's drive to continuously improve the application by adding new features and enhancements. Also where we have experienced problems the support from the TW team has been excellent.

What would I like to see and improvement in? If there is an area I'd like to see a focus on it would be a either 1) a choice of integrations for analytics services/applications or 2) a flexible built-in visual report builder.
While TW does provide some useful reports, it is probably the weakest area of the application feature wise. As an ops manager, I need to be able to go from high level statistics and drill down in to detail. Currently TW is missing that high level view of what's happening across all our projects.

Comments: I can not explain in short how much have Teamwork Project helped me, but I can say that its the best project managing systems that I've seen.

The only thing missing (and I'm requesting it all the time) is a personnel rotations chart in the calendar since we work at offshore facilities for Oil and Gas industry and our personnel is on and off shifts by 28 days with 28 days. It would be nice to integrate that so that all of the activities in the system can be assigned only to the "on-shift" personnel.

Pros: I like the ease-of-use, the depth of features balanced with the intuitive way of using it. I needed almost no training to get going with it.

Cons: I'd like to see the Google Drive integration built out more. One feature in particular that annoys me is that it doesn't recognize if you've already added a Gdrive file to another task, resulting in linking in the same file over and over.

Some things, like turning a task list into a template, aren't intuitive and you have to dig through the menus to find out how to use them. Same goes for many template-related features... I wish it were easier to work with templates.

Overall: Teamwork is one of those programs that's as simple or as complex as you need it to be. At first, I mostly used it as a collection of checklists and files, and I've been gradually expanding upon the features as I refine my business processes. I love how you can turn off the features you don't use, tag everything, slice your data any which way you need to get the reports you need, and control client and team access to different features. I've had a few bugs and a bit of downtime over the past few months, but I found the staff to be candid and transparent about issues and I like that.

Pros: Pretty much everything.

Cons: The font style for the description in the time entry is too small.

When creating a new project, there is no way to define a project for yourself or a client. Most of our project are for clients and we should have a way to set the default preference to clients.

Overall: We switched over to Teamwork about 4 years ago and it's been a great tool for our small design firm.

Comments: Usually we don't have complex or very big projects so it very easy to handle TW Projects. I'd been struggling with my team to get away from old bad practices like excesive email messages and stuff like that, looking for a total integration and management throught TW Projects, but until now we don't have any issue.

Pros: Power, flexible and easy to use all at an affordable price.

Cons: It would be very useful if it had built in screen sharing and file transfer to help my customers.

Overall: As a small independent consultant/developer the ability to quickly start a project for a customer and add task list, tasks and subtask work great. The ability to control what a user can access and edit allows some fine grain security control - very easy to setup. Then you add documentation with version control, instant chat messaging with your users, a ticketing system integrated with Teamwork and the results are amazing. All for just a few dollars a month. I use the per ticket charge and some months I pay nothing, and some times a couple of dollars for a powerful but simple ticketing system. I strongly recommend Teamwork due to features, reliability (down one in a year for a few minutes), support and low cost.

Pros: I like the multiple different ways that i can tag and organize tasks to manage projects.

Cons: I need additional permission settings that only allow admins to create or delete projects but still allows all users to manage people and tasks within projects.

Also, the calendar function for me would be much better if it allowed me to view multi day projects on top of one another. For instance, I need to visually see how much overlap my various marketing campaigns have on a calendar.

Overall: This product is life saver for me. I manage my association's marketing department and have projects and deadlines coming at my team from 50 different directions all the time. Teamwork makes it infinitely easier to manage everyone's needs across departments.

Pros: I love how easy to use it is!! I can gather many different file types (including emails) in one location, and I know exactly where to go to find them later. On the off-chance you cannot find something, the search functionality is great. I spend most of my time either adding files, messages, notebooks or links. I don't often use the time or billing sections, but I can see how they would be useful to other people.

Cons: The only thing I would like to see improved/changed is I would like the ability to have single sign on with some other common tools, such as the atlassian suite. If people in my company did not have to have ANOTHER login to another product then so many more people would use it.

Overall: I am a big fan of Teamwork Projects! I am a UX designer and I had a problem in my company where all of my research files, notes, recordings, ideas, etc. were stored in a number of different places and I needed a way of keeping this information in a single place with the easy ability for other people to see it and to easily search and find what I need. Before Teamwork I would spend ages trying to track down files that I knew existed somewhere, or wanting other people to look at files that turned out to be saved on my local machine.

Since discovering Teamwork all of that has changed. It has such a clean and easy UI that makes it very easy to organise my work. The search functionality is great, and the licensing does not charge per user so I can give everyone from my company a login if they want. On top of that, Teamwork has a whole bunch of features that I didn't realise I needed until I used them, and now I could not live without them. Within each project I can attach files, I can forward emails straight into the messages section, I can add a list of tasks and check them off once complete, I can record deadlines and time worked on a project, and I can record any risks the project has with severity levels and impacts. I can even setup people from outside of my company and give them limited access to certain files.

Teamwork has amazing capabilities whilst being simple and easy to use. I really cannot recommend it enough. And at such a reasonable price for licenses I would struggle to find an equivalent competitor out there.

I have only given it 4/5 stars for features and functionality purely because there is one extra feature I would love to see (if I could have done 4.5 I would have but alas it does not allow half stars on this site). The only thing that is stopping the rest of my company from logging in and looking at all my files is that they need to remember another login. If they could add single sign on and allow it to integrate to other systems we use (such as the atlassian products) then I would be able to get many more people in my company using it.

Recommendations to other buyers: It is great. If you haven't got it yet you should. It is so cheap you cannot afford not to, and the value and benefits it gives to its users are great.
