Teamwork checked all the feature boxes we needed to manage dozens of client projects at once and the support is always very responsive. Pros Ease of use, great support, clear development roadmap, great training videos, easy to get team buy in to use the platform. Cons We'd love to have a better templating system. Either a more robust import from excel (like relative dates or bulk assigning responsible team members on import) or a way to collect Task List templates into groups. We have several repeating types of projects for clients and it would save a lot of time to rubber stamp templates in one go. The iOS app is ok but it's not good enough to make me stop using the web version on iPad. Not a complaint but I'll always favor a native app on any platform if I can. April 5, 2017 5.0 23 Years ago I began using Ecco Pro a group project manager in the office - pim for my medical sales company - I dreamed of one day having a system that could combine the entire enterprise, inside and outside, seamlessly working together like the Borge on Star Trek - Teamwork Projects accomplishs this goal like no other platform. Teamworks also solves the two deployment challenges we faced with Ecco and Microsoft Project - learning curve and the minimum intelligence level required to use. Teamworks is simple to use while also having the comprehensive features of the more powerfull project managers. Prior to Teamworks we had used a number of PM's inclunding basecamp. Basecamp was simple but limited. Couple of other mentions: The Teamwork Team is constantly adding features at fairly quick pace. Tasks and sub tasks - critical paths all make sure you got your "i"'s and cross your "T"'s. I have a wish list but haven't submitted it because the Teamworks team is sure to have it on their Teamwork Projects Todo List. Summary: Simple implementation, Simple deployment, Feature Rich, Start using today. Don't ask your IT girl what she thinks, you won't need her to deploy Teamworks - IT is included in the price. COST: Should be 10x the amount. We are a startup prefunding, when we get funded I would pay 10x what their asking. Pros Simple to: Use, Deploy, Comprehensive, Scalable, Feature Rich, Very Affordable Cons I would like to see more integration with other software -which will come as they grow. The tasks list is really flexible and allows for subtasks, comments deadlines etc. The minimal design to the task list makes it easy to pick and choose what elements you want to use in any given task. Pros The tasks really offer all kinds features which make it easy to communicate any given task. Of all the project management tools this feels like the right balance of features without over cluttering or confusing things. Cons It takes a little bit of time getting used to the interface since there is so much you can do when creating a task. It also feels a little odd jumping back and forth to see the images. It would be nice to see larger images in the list than just a thumbnail. The thumbnails are too small to communicate information but clicking to view them seems like too much work if you need to just glance at it without leaving your task list. Sadly I had to move since Portfolio Mgmt. was not available at the time, but, for managing projects and tracking tasks is a really good place to start. Pros What I like the most about Teamwork is the way it's organized, its UI design is quite effective, simple to use and well thought. It's always easy to find your project and get all the information you need. Lately they added this 'Board view' feature which I particularly love since it resembles as Trello, just drag-and-drop your tasks, easy and effective. Cons What I like least about Teamwork is that they do not deploy features fast enough to compete with other solutions currently in the market, features like portfolio management are simply not there yet. Teamwork allows us to accomplish tasks, manage our clients, and generally succeed at our efforts. Teamwork is great! Pros Teamwork CRM allows me to easily create tasks for my clients, is a great repository for files and data, and allows me to easily communicate with my clients that keeps a record of all messages. Further, the customization abilities of each project and tasks allow me to easily manage my clients. Cons The only issue I have with Teamwork is that it can be slightly confusing setting things up in the beginning. Also, it has trouble accepting image attachments to messages sometimes. The main issue the company was trying to solve was being able to get more output while also keeping track and informing management of the progress that was made. Teamwork did the job. Pros I liked the ecosystem that TeamWork had where they provided chat and project management all synched together. With multiple team members across the country it was easy to collaborate on specific tasks or projects to get stuff done quickly. Cons The UI was a little tough to get used to and wasn't really intuitive. However after a few weeks you get used to it and could pick up the speed. Nevertheless there are a few things I dont like about Freshbooks: - When you have written a description and change the item/tasks , the description is deleted. sure, ther is a workaround (cmd+c) but it can be nerve wrecking when you are in a rush - I would love individual reminder intervals and text per client - The big advantage of german systems are the integration of your bank accounts and the automated check (money has arrived? has not?). Clients are irritated regularly because they get an reminder though they have already payed Thats it for now. The description shouldn't be deleted here unless you delete the task itself. 2. Reminder intervals - You can customize reminders to whatever you like. Simply add one reminder and then you'll see an option to add another. You can add as many as you like. 3. Payment reminders - I'm afraid I don't quite understand your frustration here. We have found it invaluable is tracking projects and making sure EVERYONE has access to our work. Essentially our geographically diverse trams can all be on the same page at any point. The only downside is the need to download a document, make changes and then save before you can reload your document. Too bad you can't do all the edit and upload right in teamwork. It would make this a more streamlined product. Recurring tasks. Easy to use. Feature rich. Everything you guys stood for. Not bloated like JIRA. Cons It did not cater to executives needs. I still loved the product (I hate JIRA), but it Teamwork was missing the bells and whistles executives needed to sign-off for continued use of TeamworkPM. I didnt need the integrations with Salesforce, payroll, roadmaps, pagerduty, logstache, zendesk, KPI's/SLA management, but THEY did. Ease of use when creating tickets actually. No security for who could create what made for a 'noisey' backlog No Team Backlogs Support for sprints/agile. Gantt functionality was weak. Team Calendar was okay, not easy to use cross functionally.
