Right off the bat the subscription tiers are very affordable and offer a whole lot of value in terms of features. What I liked is that even though it was feature rich, the platform did not bombard you with a complex UI. It can be as simple or as complex as you want based on how you organize the project settings.

Pros

Lots of control over user access, you can save project templates for recurring projects to remind people of processes, incredible value

Cons

I can't say there are any criticisms that come to mind. Maybe integration with third parties like slack could be more robust.

My overall experience was really good. Considering how many similar tools I tried Teamwork Projects rates among the top ones. It has all it needs in one place! If only the learning curve would be a bit steeper, Teamwork Projects will be second to none.

Pros

My overall experience was fairly positive. I tried too many alike tools and only a few could match Teamwork Projects with the selection of features, captivating design and being clean both visually and functionality wise. My ever favorite is a time-tracker feature that helps you keep track of how much time you have been spending on each project.

Cons

I was hoping that I will take me less time to at least be able to navigate through main Teamwork Projects features. The instructions were useful but some things just weren't intuitive enough for me. So, arm yourself with some patience; however, Teamwork Projects is worth it.

### "Packaging artwork workflow "

We have been using Teamwork for controlling a huge number of artwork. I looked a lot of system and we decided to use teamwork because in our opinion it's the best in the market. One thing that could have in the system, that would make our service better, is the possibility of approval artwork. It's mean, submit a PDF to someone to approve. We are using the file tab to do it, but if it was native, the system would be better.

Pros

Multilanguage, ease to prepare workflow, ease to navigate. Have no limit of user.

Cons

Does Not have a system of approval files.

We use Teamwork for all things collaboration. We use it for sharing and editing files without having to email back and forth, tracking complex conversations and decision making processes in the messages file, keeping important resources all in one place, and of course meeting the many deadlines that drive our business.

Pros

The functionality can be as simple or complex as you need it. Also the Document Editor is amazing.

Cons

It's getting better, but the navigation can still be clunky at times. Also sometimes the Document Editor glitches.

When it comes to creating a project schedule with milestones and tasks, this software is nice for small to mid-sized subcontractors like our company. Very nice program with great potential to grow, and a team that seems interested in continuously improving the product!

Pros

The time tracking is really user-friendly and can report against estimated hours for each task - very simply. Some programs do not allow the flexibility that Teamwork allows when it comes to going from a drilled down project format to a broad view schedule for all projects in progress - teamwork does this nicely. It also allows notes for RFIs, COs, and project logs. Files can be fully uploaded or linked through programs like dropbox. Project photos can be uploaded to each job. The improved Overview gives a nice "quick glance" to see what's going on in each project.

Cons

Does not allow entering estimated materials cost with the ability to track actual expense verses remaining committed costs. It seems the format of the program would readily accommodate this, so it could be one of the improvements the team is working on. The program has an integrated chat that could be extremely powerful if audio was added (like Voxer). For the cost of the program, there is no way that someone could expect these items, but for customers like me, who are so happy with the foundation of it, I would gladly pay more for them - the platform is NICE. Not sure this belonged in the Cons...

Pros

1) We are an agency with many projects going on all the time, and it's quite easy to get newcomers to join the projects, in spite of the initial reluctance when a new tool is introduced. 2) The platform is constantly developed further - but not changing on a daily basis, you don't have to fear what you see every time you log in.

Cons

The look and feel is rather boring, and the mobile UX is inferior. (META: Also I don't like open replies with minimum character count.)

I have evaluated a long list of cloud project management applications and I chose Teamwork.com. I have compared to Basecamp, Wrike, Atlassan, Asana, and more and this one seemed to be a great fit because of its wide set of features and great price. Overall, the user interface is attractive and intuitive. The pricing is also quite affordable. The features that my company uses the most are: task management, comments, chat (with ability to automatically create a task from a chat entry), email tasks to a project, milestones, status updates, risk register, and file storage for each project. The customer support so far has been extremely responsive, professional, and helpful. The software is integrated with Teamwork Desk and also with a chat app (which can be accessed from desktop app or in a web browser). Since I signed up over a month ago, I have seen a few new features for Teamwork Desk, but I haven't yet seen any for Teamwork Projects. The chat app has had several updates and is in beta. I should also note that I really like the daily project report email. At first I thought it would be annoying, but it is really well laid out and worth receiving. I also like the search bar for finding customers, tasks, projects, and files.

Pros

Good user interface; sensible design structure; Daily Project Report email; integrated with Help Desk; Integrated chat app; comments for files, tasks, and more; Excellent customer support; Very attractive pricing; Search bar; Mobile app; Flexible project/task/message/file privacy; Unlimited users; Export tasks to Excel; Wide variety of payment methods; Large knowledge base

Task system organization decreasing over-whelm A sense of control in my life again

Pros

Being able to log the time it takes to do work which has enabled me to be more realistic about the time I allocate. Creating templates and duplicates to use in projects saves time Being able to set start and end dates and milestones rather than just the date a project is due. Easy access to 3 different views of projects and tasks catering to different ways of processing information The 24 hour help was amazing. So fast.

Cons

I would have like a video on the very basic concepts of creating projects, tasks columns and subtasks. As I'm not used to this type of application, I first used it as an ideas dumping area. I worked out that this is not the best use of the app. This would not apply for those who have used this type of app before. I'm a solopreneur and having to pay for 5 users when it's only me is a bit expensive Other than this I can't find any other cons to list

It is nice that the project you are working in is titled at the top of the page all of the time. You can also get notifications for all docs that are uploaded, or messages sent from the site.

Pros

The ability to maintain all project related items on Teamwork with the customer if we choose is great. . It links over to the other Teamwork products we have also. I can edit a document with their editor tool, and while doing so, it locks the document so that others cannot edit. It holds all project related docs, time on the project, ability to build out the tasks as needed. I can filter reports on my time with ease. We decide when uploading a document to the site who has access to see the document, so if you do not want your customer to see it, they cannot.

Cons

It can be quite cumbersome to go between projects, and applications. It lets you download a locked document, with no warning.

We have a twelve-day leadership program running for clients and we are able to easily insert around 130 tasks per client project from the templates that we have previously setup. We use these tasks in conjunction with Milestone which then shows up on our Google calendar. This allows us to easily reassign tasks and sub-tasks to a different date if the workshop has to be moved. This is done just by changing the milestone date and rescheduling the task and sub-task dates. Previously we were managing these projects in an Excel spreadsheet. The ease of use and the quick grasp of the functionality that our part-time staff have been able to pick up with minimal training has been a huge productivity boost. This productivity has also been boosted by being able to see tasks to be done in a week and being able to meet and discuss these tasks with each staff member. I am also able to do all this remotely which is a real benefit.

Pros

Ease of learning and use.

### "GREAT Organizational Tool"

Pros

There are so many great things about TeamWork. I manage a team of about 60 employees on it and over 100 projects at any given time. It allows me to discuss internally and also with clients. It is also a great way to track hours and keep a project on the correct timeline.

Cons

If you are managing a team, it is difficult to see workloads and availability. There also isn't a way to easily have a start and due dates on milestones. You can have them on individual tasks, but having it on a milestone would really help large projects.

We chose this product after trying about 6 others and this one had the capability features that allowed us to scale our use of the product to match our larger organization. We love that we can add as many users and streamline workflow for everyone involved. Very intuitive user experience. Love all the features and don't have too many issues with it.

Pros

Fully functioning feature list. Intuitive but not complicated to figure out. Harvest integration.

Cons

I wish there were a few more pricing tiers. Like a $90 per month for 250 projects tier. I also wish we could have a few more features from Harvest. We love that integration because we use that for timetracking and invoicing but wish we didn't have to "bill" our company when someone uses it. I also wish we could automate project creation through TW into Harvest.

An improved workflow, ease of collaboration with team mates, and much more customization options!

Pros

One of things I appreciate most from Teamwork is there constant innovation to make the product better. Their customer service team takes feedback and regularly makes adjustments to help improve the customer experience. The options for a variety of views, customization, and making this product fit your organization is huge. You can make this software work FOR you without having to work within strict confines of what the software is/isn't able to do.

Cons

There are a few UX/design items that aren't overly intuitive. You expect an action to happen when you click but instead something else occurs. It isn't anything that is overly detracting from the software but it is a slight annoyance for me personally.

Everyone in our team loves teamwork, its ease of use, functionality and features. There has been a marked improvement in team efficiency with the help of Teamwork including task tracking, scheduling, prioritizing, making sure everyone is on the same page, etc. The customer support is quick and thorough in their response and we definitely think that Teamwork is great value for money. One issue however that needs further looking into is page loading speed. Sometimes, it takes longer than it should to load a page or for the page to reflect the changes/selections made. The slow page loading issue is especially apparent when launching the webapp, but sorts itself out after a few seconds. Definitely an potential area to look into for improvement.

Pros

Feature packed, great value for money, quick and thorough customer service

Cons

Gantt chart features are basic and need to evolve more

Great tool but some functionalities are missing. I have the feeling the customer feedback with regards to new features is not given the right attention. It is teamwork itself who decides on priority and new features. If customers would be able to vote on new enhancement request, or if customers could team up to discuss and prioritiese, I think this would result in a different enhancement request list and priority. Open for the discussion.

To give you an idea of how we choose what features we develop - We have a project in our own installation of Teamwork Projects where we add customer feedback and suggestions. As more votes for particular features come in we add +1's to the features. The product development team then meet every quarter to discuss what features to work on next. Customer feedback is the main reasons for choosing what to work on. However other things are at play as well, including how long a feature will take to develop, does it match with the overall vision of the product, will it benefit all our customers or just a small segment etc. I would definitely encourage you to keep sending us your feedback as we do listen to it all. Teamwork helps us keep track of the different projects we have going on with our marketing agency. We also use it as a communications tool. The only downfall about teamwork is all the emails I feel like we are constantly getting from the system when other people are having one-off conversations but don't unselect other participants of the project. I wish there was a more obvious way to help people remember to deselect others for one-off conversations.

Pros

This is a great tool to keep everyone organized and house all of your conversations for each project. It's also helpful to track projects as you're going along.

Cons

The overbearing amount of email communication when several people are having conversations with each other that don't necessarily involve you.

This software is very flexible in how it's used. Other product management providers were more rigid in how they are used and could not be adapted as easily as Teamwork was able to be.

I would like to see more integrations with other software service providers.

### "Teamwork - Powerful, flexible and EASY"

As a small independent consultant/developer the ability to quickly start a project for a customer and add task list, tasks and subtask work great. The ability to control what a user can access and edit allows some fine grain security control - very easy to setup. Then you add documentation with version control, instant chat messaging with your users, a ticketing system integrated with Teamwork and the results are amazing. All for just a few dollars a month. I use the per ticket charge and some months I pay nothing, and some times a couple of dollars for a powerful but simple ticketing system. I strongly recommend Teamwork due to features, reliability (down one in a year for a few minutes), support and low cost.

Pros

Power, flexible and easy to use all at an affordable price.

Cons

It would be very useful if it had built in screen sharing and file transfer to help my customers.

### "Great....and get better every year"

Started using Teamwork over 2 years ago as Basecamp could no longer provide what we needed. We were so happy with the functionality and feature set that we moved our other company over to it within 6 months. They continue to work very hard to make a great product better and better. In my opinion it is what a project management tool should be for small business. Warning - with so much functionality there is a learning curve but our experience with their support has been awesome. Highly recommended.

Pros

Flexibility and features....and also the constant and consistent improvement of features.

### "Great and all-powerful Project Management software"

Pros

The best part about Teamwork is that it can do almost anything. It can track projects of all sizes very easily. It integrates with a lot of useful and relevant applications. It's also proven very helpful from a collaboration standpoint!

Cons

The only real down side of teamwork is that there is a legitimate learning curve. It took a few days before I fully felt comfortable managing tasks at the lowest level of functionality it provides.

The support team is fantastic, and responds normally within minutes whenever we have a question. We have recommended and referred several other companies to the Teamwork family collaboration and tracking tools, and will continue to do so!

Ease of use, rich features list ... which is always growing, API access to data could not be easier!

Cons

Mobile application may need some additional attention...it is good, but not always fully intuitive on 'where to click' to get to what I'm looking for

Pros

it does what it's supposed to. I like that you can copy time sheets from the previous week and I like that your tax documents are fairly easy to get ahold of.

Cons

The layout makes it seem like it is easy to use, but once you get into the nitty gritty details, it gets complicated with overwhelming options and outdated functions. I constantly geet error messages that could easily get fixed if their system wasn't so old..
