Pros

Everything is exactly where it should be and the system is amazingly fast, reliable and super easy to use.

Cons

Nothing really! I only hope that some big software juggernaut doesn't come along some day, buy Teamwork and ruin it. :)

Admittedly Bars & Restaurants are not necessarily the industries that Teamwork had in mind for use. I find it to be a net positive tool that we use, but overall I feel like it is underused.

Pros

The ability to quickly put task lists together from a template is easily the most beneficial feature.

Cons

I find the UX & UI to be clumsy and bland overall. It's not the most necessary element for the role it plays, but I think that plays a part in some hit or miss engagement.

### "This is the go-to for Simplicity"

Pros

Teamwork offers the greatest amount of simplicity on one platform which is what is sometimes needed for good team collaboration. It is extremely user-friendly and it helps me manage my work with the utmost efficiency on any device. The fact that everything is centralized makes it even more conducive for good workflow from task creation and tracking to managing my calendar.

Cons

I struggle with accessing my emails from time to time so that could be improved.

It as been very helpful for the company in financial, time analysis and cost. Nevertheless it would be a great improvement for the software if the Chat could be more efficient, the communication we have still to use either Viber or Whatsapp as the chat doesn't refresh at the same rate as others and there's no possibility of phone or video calling, The communication for our setup is really important as we operate in 2 distant countries. This would make the usage of Teamworks as fully integrated platform. Other issue is that we use a @aap.company email address your survey doesn't allow to enter my company email that should be something to work out. My email for AAP is os@aap.company

Pros

I love the fact that we can have hundreds of comments, emails and tasks flying around but they all end up in exactly the right place, making it easy to follow, and keep on top of, what we're doing.

Cons

What would be the icing on the cake for us would be the ability to email out to non-users and forward external emails as comments to tasks. We hit a brick wall when we're working on something with a client and he/she needs us to see an email received from an external party.

### "Teamwork is amazing (once you learn it)"

About 6 months ago, we switched to Teamwork from Basecamp. Teamwork has been great so far with the functionalities and the ease of use. I love the how-to videos provided within Teamwork. The ability to search for a video is a really good option. Although Teamwork is more advanced than Basecamp, it takes a little more time to learn. I love that our team is able to track their time according to tasks and projects. This makes our pricing more accurate and it shows our team's productivity levels.

Time Tracking Capabilities Design Price is Reasonable Multiple Functionalities

Takes a while to learn

I enjoyed Teamwork while we had it! The "timer" function for time tracking was well used and liked by our graphic designers. It is an efficient way to track projects. Had there been a chat option (more like Slack + project management), we may have stayed with TW..

Pros

I liked Teamwork; it was easy to use and customizable to our organization which was a huge pro. We ended up switching to another project management software, but Teamwork got the job done and is a pretty good option for project management, deadlines, et cetera.

Cons

There wasn't an option to chat within the team when we had Teamwork, and the lack of "chat" options was one of the reasons we made the switch to another project management software.

### "One of the best software decisions we've made as a company"

Not much - anything we haven't liked has been fixed or a new feature built. I'm just filling in words here because we have no complaints.

Pros

Constant Innovation, excellent UI and feature set, pricing is great. We once had a new PM who was considering changing our project management software away from TW - we almost had a mutiny on our hands for just considering another product.

Practicality and time saving.

Pros

Daily you can see how productive you are to follow the projects from start to finish. The work team can be visualized on the spot. Everything is at your fingertips thanks to the smartphone app.

Cons

The only thing is that the app weighs a little and if you have a smartphone with little internal memory, you may have problems.

### "Useful for teams!"

Pros

Easy to use and works great for what we need it to do: a central location where tasks can be signed out (and avoid someone duplicating a task), an easy way to identify due dates for each particular task (as well as track what is late), separate project folders to keep everything separate (as sometimes task names tend to be the same), can even be used for your own daily personal tasks to check off as you go. I like that as an administrator for the site I can see what is running behind and make the needed changes among the teams. Comments can be added anywhere as well and things link to email notifications if you want them to -- so nothing gets overlooked.

The experience overall has been good but I would like to see a more user friendly interface. I use the tool to manager my project but I would love to be able to have a more simple way of displaying a timeline to my client and edit the name of the report and so on. If I can leverage the tool to also display some of the PM deliverables in a more consumable way it would me 5 all around.

It is a Simple setup Tons of videos to walk through Easy to manager and add other users

Not having the ability of extracting the tasks into a user friendly timeline Not having shortcuts to add time Not easy way of pulling up time reporting

Pros

Good for internal planning and task allocation for work, Easy to work with as a group. Decent report of the timesheets.

Cons

Lacks more advanced project planning, like resources, and resource allocation controls. Gantt chart view is not easy to use or conveniently exported. Would like to assign resource cost and personnel cost on the actual person.

This is a fantastic software program and super easy to use and keeps all documents together. Great to use when your remote and have multiple clients. Tasks can be entered and marked completed which is great for tracking

Teamwork, I don't even know where to begin! This PM Tool moved our 300+ creative project schedules from gMail into one system. The phrases of 'send me that file,' 'how much did that cost', 'create a spreadsheet graph of everything, today' are a thing of the past! I truly feel this tool makes our department shine, and gives upper-management a 360 view of our day-today projects. Without being too over dramatic, Teamwork honestly changed my entire work life! The support is top notch, and I've ALWAYS received prompt answers. How can I give this product 10 stars?!

Pros

The functionality to keep all project details, messages, and notes in one specific area. I especially love that there is a dedicated YouTube channel with informational videos.

Cons

I am dreaming of the day I could add another 'generic/open' field to the Project Settings area, so I could capture more information in an Excel report format.

Teamwork Projects has provided an easy to use and effective platform for collaborating across departments to deliver high quality projects in a timely fashion.

Pros

Teamwork Projects provides a simple and easy to use yet powerful tool. Collaborative features and analytics in particular round out a very solid offering among project management software. Teamwork Projects strikes a wonderful balance between feature set and usability across teams.

Cons

I can't think of too much of a drawback - ease of use becomes very important when working on teams that may not all be up to speed with web-based collaboration, and that's where this product shines.

Pros

Teamwork is very good for tracking tasks, deadlines, and hours as a team, especially on more complex projects that require inter-connected deadlines.

Cons

The file storage system isn't very good but I assume most users would have another cloud solution for that. The comments and dashboards aren't really good for big-picture collaboration.

Pros

Ability to store all images/documents and messages in one place, ability to email directly through the project to team members while making the message public or private.

Cons

Inability to combine projects. The move/copy function makes it difficult and pops you back into the destination project each time. We sometimes have 2 projects created that later need to become one project and it is very time consuming

### "A tool that makes project management easier"

Going from Basecamp we found a tool in Teamwork that helps us keep track and manage more advanced and complex projects. We really like the task management and surprisingly enough it was also quickly adapted by the most production oriented team. They have really improved the way the work in managing day-to-day production. We have also invited our clients to this tool which has been really appreciated by both parties. The only thing that we would like to add to this tool, if we could, is resource planning on a day to day overall basis.

Pros

The customizing of each task - due date, importance, repeat, sub-tasks, multiple people, etc. It's also a fairly clean interface.

Cons

It can be a bit complicated for employees who aren't super computer savvy and takes some figuring out to get set up properly. You also have to navigate back to the main page to switch projects and you can't add tasks on your own personal list.
