The features, the interface, the reporting capabilities and the possibility to add files and edit them online. The licensing is based on active project so is excellent to avoid expend a lot of money in advance. Cons The Gantt import tool can be better. April 23, 2019 5.0 Really robust and easy to use tool in daily basis and i am really happy and it made my life easy. Pros Such a valuable part of my daily workflow. Teamwork provides many features to help manage your project from start to finish. I can't imagine my work/ project without Teamwork. Saved my lot of time since past. Cons \- Not easy to download any .csv file for the tasks or the uses and projects - Not easy to put all the tasks together to another newly created task. I have to write or copy/paste the task from the new end. It is very easy to add another project by copying a previous one, since most of my projects are very similar and have same structure. Pros Teamwork was one of the first project management software I remember. It changed a lot over years but I like the way it displays my projects (I see everything I need on my first screen), I also Like the way I get notifications and I never miss the deadlines for really important tasks. Cons Pricing structure has changed over time. I also tried to use mobile version, but still prefer Teamwork on my desktop. Once I also had an issue with adding a new user to the project. Pros Ticks all the boxes for the critical tools needed for most kind of projects, gantt charting being my favorite, as well as the way of allocation of tasks. Their support… you will level up your support requirements bar after leading with Teamwork’s one, they’re one of the best in all industry. June 12, 2018 5.0 Pros It helps to maintain organize and to focus on some task you need to prioritize, is a good platform to stay connected with other members and log time of each task so you can keep track of every aspect that affects your project. It was one of my first assignments when I came aboard to find a online sharing platform that has more capabilities than a Dropbox, for example. I compared Teamwork to Basecamp and another online project management plateform that I can not remember at the moment. Teamwork, in my opinion, was the better version of basecamp. I am sure basecamp has caught up but, I have not interest in switching. Teamwork has everything we need. We have the 40 projects version. I love that we can customize the site. We love the active versus inactive to free up more projects, which we haven't even scraped the surface by using 10 projects. The annual fee is nominal for our orgnanization hundreds of organizations benefit because that's how our organization works, in partnership with other community based organizations. This software is a jewel. The customer support team is awesome. I just sent a helpdesk request the other week and within about 30 minutes someone has responded and I am pretty sure they are in a totally different time zone (night vs day). I can't say enough. I would look into other seamless systems with easier planning and tracking. Pros I've used a lot of systems over my 13+ years in technology, and Teamwork just doesn't do it for me. It's very confusing and requires use from a very experienced individual. Even copying and pasting in Teamwork when trying to enter new requirements can be such pain due to formatting. Pros Holds everything we need for a project in one place. Manages our staff, and clients. Password protection is nice. Cons I am a primary user in the software and use the program to set up clients and hold them accountable. The interface is very user friendly from my perspective within the platform, but for clients what they see is a bit goofy. You have to click around a good bit to get to the information you want. It is a great tool for team collaboration, project management, group work on a document or event, and archiving information associated with a project that all team members can access. The milestones calendar feature is a great way to keep track of due dates and remind team members of their responsibilities with a project. Helpful task templates allow a project manager to utilize frequently used templates across different projects. A Gantt chart feature is also helpful to take a comprehensive view of an entire project. Customer support is also very comprehensive. It is a superior product to Basecamp and other project management products I have used. Pros Helpful features like messaging and calendar milestones; privacy settings help you control who sees what information; Gantt chart capabilities. Cons Can be difficult to get team members to learn the system and thus get them to use it, but this is a minor problem. We find it works very well with our small staff of 5 on software and design projects. We love the ability to add consultants and clients to their projects so they can track their tasks as well. Two wishes: a more robust CRM and the ability to output time by person to Quickbooks. Pros Ease of use. Ability to add clients and consultants to individual projects. Pros Teamwork allows users to assign tasks to other users with deadlines, log time in real time including whether the time is billable or not (for invoicing later), and track all late items together in order to address them. Cons My least favorite aspect of the software is how projects are added on. Instead of easily being able to list new clients as separate projects, the default is that they get added on as projects underneath an already-created client. You just need to put a little more thought into how salespeople would perceive it Pros You could generate projects for the onboarding team and they love it. Cons The integration with HubSpot is hard to manage, which makes it hard for us in the sales team. My onboarding team likes it but I find it a little impractical, as a Salesperson. It says that integrates with Hubspot but when my onboarding team emails from Teamwork it doesn't show it in Hubspot for me. Pros This tool is great for managing tasks, documents and creating Gantt charts. It was easy to setup and train colleagues. The labelling and filtering enabled us to create great dashboards. Cons It wasn’t as easy as expected to integrate with some other products we had. Always a problem with project management tools but printing the Gantt charts to fit to a page of paper and be able to read them was fiddly sometimes. When using it, each of my team members can easily create a schedule.
