It allows you to create a series of tasks within a project and assign out to your team with specific due dates and timeframes. With Teamwork, you can map out everything you need to do to complete a project for your company. Cons There aren't many things to dislike about Teamwork. The one critique I have is there are a few cumbersome steps to get a new project folder added, but otherwise, it's great to use! It allows you to see exactly where your time goes. Managers can use it to see how their teams time is being spent. Cons There is almost too much functionality. It is easy to get lost in everything the software can do. Also the storage limitations could cause issues for companies that use large files. This lets me manage everything I need to do and gives me a simple way to add what I've done and click completed. Cons Not super easy to navigate in the project page as it would be nice to navigate quickly to the projects, tasks and individual lists all on one page. Modern UI that is pleasant and easy to use. Software seems to be updated fairly frequently and enriches some of the existing offerings Cons Somewhat expensive, if you are also paying for some of the other tools that are required in the end-to-end software development lifecycle. Limited integrations with other tools which can sometimes be annoying. Frustrating user management tools. We have evaluated different tools and other tools had more to offer but we decided this should be a perfect tool to get our consultants started with a web based tool. Pros Fast, easy to use and clear interface. The basics of task management combined with its built in time tracking tool will boost your productivity. I liked the kanban view and the price structure that allows invite customers users without paying more. The users permissions are power and flexible and it has all collaborative tools too. Easy to find files attached to tasks. Cons It has some extra tools as Billing or Calendar that are not really useful. Billing is not easy to use and Calendar are not synced with Outlook (it is possible to turn it off). It does not have Financial control (only time control) and very few reporting options. Used the software for: ### "Excellent software" March 29, 2017 5.0 We've been using Teamwork for around 2 years and it's now become an integral part of the business. Previously we were using Basecamp but I find the Teamwork interface much easier to navigate and more aesthetically pleasing. It's feature rich although we don't use a lot of the more in depth aspects of the software. For us it's primarily a way of posting proofs to clients, getting feedback, and having a central platform for communications and it does all this very well. I consider it a bargain as building and hosting a bespoke CRM system this good would be out of reach of a small business like us. I've requested a couple of features that would be really helpful to us, namely default project files, or some sort of permanent library of assets. Apart from that it's perfect for our needs. Used the software for: ### "Not user-friendly or intuitive" November 22, 2016 3.0 For a project management platform, I find teamwork very difficult to navigate and I feel it takes me 3 times as long to just find projects or create task lists. I wish that the layout was a little more simple so that I could organize my projects by importance and quickly see where I am on all projects that I have assigned. My team has to assign the projects back to the person who assigned it in order to notify them that they want feedback - there has to be a better way! I've provided some suggestions below that will help conquer your frustrations. -You can star projects so that important ones will always always appear at the top of your project list. -If you go to the Overview section of each project you'll get a summary of the project. -On a personal level if you go to the Everything> All active tasks section, you'll see all the tasks you're working on across all projects. You can filter this by user as well. -You can notify a team member that you need feedback in a number of ways. Some of which are: You can add a task for them to review. You can add a tag that says 'this needs review'. You can @mention the team member in a comment under the tasks asking them to review and give feedback. On the other hand we had the desire to become with our project management as mobile as possible. Setting up projects was a breeze and the milestone tracker is a very powerful way to manage many priorities. Cons I think the current set-up can get a little unruly if you are juggling hundreds of projects (which unfortunately I am!) I think this is a good small-to-mid sized solution for sure. Using the platform, each employee can create a schedule, set priorities for tasks, and also work from a smartphone outside the office. Cons We lack tools to work with repetitive tasks. If two identical tasks appear, they must be entered into Teamwork Projects separately.
