Cons Lack of a Kanban card system when we originally were using it, but they now have one, which isn't perfect, but they are constantly optimizing. You can customise the work flow easily, manage your team and the best of all is the dashboard view. Cons Doesn't provide so many report, and not so user friendly. It doesn't have so many integration flexibility. With Teamwork you can create the projects you are working on it, assign tasks to your team members, deadlines, priorities. You can also upload files and share links and notes. It is easy to find your old documents, as well as comfortable to use it to track working projects. Cons Limited integration with third-party reporting services. Not all icons are intuitive, but it is also difficult for me to visualize the design of ready-made reports. Used the software for: ### "TW Feedback" March 29, 2017 4.0 I would really like to see more functionality with scheduling dates associated with tasks. It seems like this is such a manual system. For example, if we miss a deadline on a early task, I have to manually go in and change every following task. It would be helpful if there was "predecessor" feature - where subsequent tasks don't start until prior ones are complete. Also, if templates could be built with days assigned to each task, with a schedule that can flow in just based on the project start date, that would be much more efficient. You can do this for all tasks in a project (https://support.teamwork.com/projects/tasks/bulk-edit-all-tasks-in-a-project), task list (https://support.teamwork.com/projects/efficiency/bulk-editing-tasks-on-a-task-list) or all subtasks (https://support.teamwork.com/projects/efficiency/bulk-editing-sub-tasks). When creating task list templates you'll be able to schedule the start and due dates, just like you would for any new task. June 3, 2020 5.0 Teamwork is great for team organization and for making sure everyone is on the same page. It's nice to have information all in once place, which saves time and effort. Pros We implemented Teamwork so we could mainly use the calendar aspect to lay out our to-do's, deadlines, and team projects. We really liked the customization of each item we added to the calendar, and we could assign it to specific people. The notifications were great so we never missed a comment or an update. Cons We do wish Teamwork would have a better file share option. The calendar aspect helped us with a lot of organization, but we still have to rely on a separate software (GoogleDrive) for our files. Project Manager Environmental Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Good Consulting Tool" December 6, 2016 5.0 I've been using Teamwork for about a year and have had great success managing a large number of projects simultaneously. Due to the nature of our work, each project is not extensively complex, but more akin to keeping multiple plates spinning at the same time. The software is easy to use, very intuitive, the design works well, flows well, easy to add access for people to certain projects, easy to add your own corporate logo etc. The software also works well with an iPad and iPhone, in addition to accessing it from a desktop. Can't say I can really think of any major drawbacks, to be honest. Comments are threaded, files have their own tab, and everything is easily organized under a basic project header. Cons Email notifications are not standard/default. Whenever you create a task for someone, you have to check a box to say that you want to send an email to a person to notify them of a new task or project. In addition, customer service is outstanding. Cons I would personally recommend the free version of this product until you are absolutely sure it is right for your team even though the features offered are much more limited, since the price seems to jump quickly once you transition into a paid subscription.
