The robust features of the software are exactly what we need to get work done. Being able to work from anywhere and have access to this project management tool allow our team to work as though we have a mobile office. Cons The app has run slow on occasion, but when we get to an area with better internet connection it works very well. The app is not as intuitive as the online platform. With a bigger, multi-phase project it felt important to dig down and find a good PM tool that could handle the workload without making me crazy. Teamwork is a great balanced tool that provides some of the traditional PM tools without going overboard. Used the software for: ### "Could Improve with Added Features" January 5, 2017 3.0 Teamwork Projects is a good tool for marketing teams, but I don't think it works as well for design teams. It would be nice to be able to create templates for projects that are created often, such as banner ads, so we always make sure we get all the information we need. Our team has also found it confusing to add tasks with all the options of tasks, task lists, etc. It's not as simple as it could be to add a task. I would also love to see the option to create required items when others are submitting tasks. Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Effective team project management platform" October 31, 2018 5.0 Pros With Teamwork Projects you can divide the project to the small tasks and assign those tasks to different people. You can see if the tasks are completed and can see how the project is doing, what is a process. I love Teamwork Project because this is the first tool that showed me how I can simplify my complicated project and help me understand what I need to do with step by step plan and I'm grateful for that. Also, it provides a great solution for the small team up to 5 members with Free Forever Plan where you can work on 2 projects and store your files with 100MB space. This is a great reason to give it a try today! Cons It is a little bit hard to understand all of the Teamwork Projects features when you first signed up and it requires to spend some learning time in order to effectively use this close-working team project management tool. We have used them for a while now and I think that they could be doing a lot better in terms of functionality and actual usability. Cons They lack improvements. I can see what everyone has done and where they are at with the project/tasks etc. Cons I think uploading files could use a better notification system. I have had multiple team members not get notified when images have been uploaded and this slows down projects. Since we all work different schedules and work in different markets, it was great to be able to manage from afar, and see everyone's status without having to speak to them. The interface is very user friendly, and the timeline helps keep you and your people on track. Cons There aren't many, other than it would be nice to have a decent free version instead of a 30 day trial. When you only do big projects once a year, it doesn't make sense to pay for software like this when you could be using an ad supported version. Pros It is intuitive, personable and flexible, enabling us to communicate as a team or individually with team members while at the same time maintaining an archive of readily accessible documents and other project specific records. We like the admin controls over the software which are important in a multi project environment where team members may not have access to all areas. Recent updates to the software reflect the commitment of the Teamwork folk to ongoing, continuous improvement. Pros Ease of use. Uncluttered design. Streamlines work process. What more could you want? Our agency uses teamwork from the inception of a project, to design and execution. It's virtually a flawless system. Cons With my creative brain I do wish at times projects could be listed in a calendar view instead of the list format. Sometimes things get lost when you have a long list to cull through and that's problematic on certain timelines.
