### "Some great features for Time tracking, including dependent tasks and filter views"

Pros

We love that our team tasks can have dependencies. Task 2 can not be started before task 1 if you choose to set up tasks with them dependent on others. We all get several hundred emails each week. The dependent task feature has reduced our need to email each other by 20%.

Cons

The set up instructions say how to use features but don't tell the reader why they would be helpful to use. We've been using the software for more than 6 months and we can't find a reason to use a handful of the features they highlight the most. When we've contacted support they were able to tell us how to use the features, but like the instructions they could not tell us what we might use them for.

### "My FAVORITE task management system - all the features with all of the simplicity"

Pros

I've used Teamwork daily for about 5 years now and it's hands-down my favorite task management platform I've ever used. Wrike, Trello, Basecamp, Asana are all second in my mind to Teamwork. Teamwork has all the features of those other platforms, but also allows you to customize it's behavior on a project by project basis to fit the needs of the work and those working on it. Kanban boards, automations, integrations with the third-party tools - Teamwork has it all. Also it's an Irish company and should you ever have an issue, you may get the opportunity to talk to a delightful person with an awesome Irish accent - win win.

Cons

They have steadily increased the price of their offerings, so that what was once a significant bargain compared to other platforms, it's now merely on-level with many of the other project management systems out there.

### "Could Not Do My Job Without Teamwork!"

I use Teamwork for Client management, Office management, document storage, email, database, invoicing, standard operating procedures, tasks, templates, workflows, etc. Customer service has always been excellent and the price point is fair.

Pros

Makes it super easy to manage multiple clients and projects. Teamwork works as a CRM and an Internal Project Management System . It's like having my complete office online and I am able to integrate all the remaining online tools I utilize with it in one way or another.

Cons

Would like to see more automated workflows for more varied tasks and features, similar to Kajabi or Dubsado

One of the things I love most about Teamwork is that I finally have one centralized place to keep track of all my projects. It's incredibly easy to navigate and configure, so I can quickly and effortlessly organize my team's tasks and responsibilities. Plus, the time tracking feature has been a lifesaver, as we bill many clients by the hour. I no longer have to worry about keeping manual records or dealing with complex spreadsheets. Another fantastic feature is the built-in chat and collaboration tools, which have streamlined our communication.

Cons

Some of the more advanced project tracking and reporting features are only available on higher, more expensive subscription plans, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, while the time tracking feature is a huge help, there are some areas where it could be more user-friendly and streamlined.

Time to launch for our marketing efforts on new service offerings was the biggest benefit we saw due to the milestones that we were able to track visually.

Pros

The biggest pro is that it allows us to work in transparency amongst the team members while accountability of who owns what in the project. Adding files and snippets of what we are working on added further value than old email chains especially when we are trying to search for them on our HDD! Teamwork also has a milestone feature allowing you to see the bigger picture and then drilling down to take the necessary next steps to complete the project. Reporting is clean - especially on Gantt charts and Kaban boards including Time Tracking built in.

Cons

I still believe the user interface is not as straightforward as some other collaborative tools that I use and only because there are so many features that it will still take some time for buy-in for new users.

I like the fact that everything is in one place. I use the time tracking for both invoicing and wages. We use Teamwork like a virtual office and all of our work and communication is done in Teamwork. I can easily go back and trace notes relevant to each task without having to trawl through thousands of emails.

Overall it works and they are constantly making things better, which is why we continue to work with them.

Pros

The entire system seems to have most of the features you'd want. The system is pretty easy to setup.

Cons

With all the features that are included, it seems like they all haven't been fleshed out. IE. Rates for resources vs. rates for clients or specific work makes it almost impossible to handle billing from within the system. In order for a task to be sent to billing it has to have hours attached. This is a pain if you have no hours but do have materials. The CRM is pretty bad at the moment. Needs quite a bit of work.

### "Best Project Management Software Hands Down!"

In my last position our organization of 80 people evaluated multiple project management tools over six months. Teamwork was the clear winner. After we adopted this software the Teamwork staff worked directly with our team to help us find the best ways to use their tools and even made enhancements at our request! I've since used this software for two non-profits and my own company, founded just over a year ago. The choice was never given a second thought. Teamwork continues to make enhancements, they find ways to make their software more intuitive, and they add new tools regularly. Their service is exceptional. I send an email I get a response no later than the next day but usually in a matter of hours. There is no comparison to Basecamp, the tool I've seen other organizations use and the tool I was using before adopting Teamwork. Teamwork is far and above the better program.

Pros

Intuitiveness of all of the tools. Integration of all of the tools to work together. The appearance and flexibility to customize it for each unique organization. As an educated graphic and interactive media designer, I applaud the UI designers. Very clean, no-nonsense, where the design and placement of interactive objects don't get in the way of the use.

Cons

Love the new calendar. Would like to see how it could populate both ways to a Google calendar. This may already be possible and I just haven't explored it yet. Really can't think of anything, though.

### "Inexpensive, gets the job done."

Once you've learned the tool, your work will be extremely organized and due dates won't sneak up on you anymore!

Pros

My favorite thing about the software is, if you know what you're doing, you can easily organize all your tasks and priorities all on one overview dashboard. Once you've learned to utilize "start" and "due" dates, it's easy to see what's on your plate for the day/week if you're a planner like myself. I'm a very organized person, and Teamwork helps me and my team stay on the same page.

Cons

It's really hard to learn. I took me a couple months of working in it every day to finally feel comfortable and to use it fully. Whenever we have clients join our Teamwork projects, teaching them the software is a bit of a nightmare!

### "Great people & lots of useful features but clunky to navigate and missing some critical pieces"

Good people and great support. Good value for the $ -- that's why we're using it. Lot's of useful features but hard to find them. UI is very clunky/difficult to navigate, especially when you have a large number of projects. Need to slim down, improve the UI. That's our biggest gripe. Need more development on the "meta" side -- across all projects/teams. That's what makes it so hard for us to navigate. It's really more geared to the project rather than the "enterprise" level, but how many groups that need software like this have fewer than 10 projects? Probably not many. So, further development of the site with the "meta" perspective in mind should be a priority. Also would be good to be able to generate timesheets that integrate salary/pay rate by person/project (you already have that info, it just doesn't do the math, creating the need for work arounds). Comments are troublesome -- it's convenient to use the comment function because often communications are driven by the needs of a given task. But then, when you mark the task as completed, the comments (and associated attachments) disappear too. I know there are other ways to get to them, but it's clunky. Messages don't feel like the answer, because then you lose the task context. I think you could do a comment board per project, separated/demarcated by task list or task, and get rid of messages (or, make messages enterprise wide) Finally, I'm not finding the "integrations" all that...well...integrative! I'm not really getting the advantage of the Dropbox integration and the Freshbooks integration is so limited as to not be very valuable. Lest I come across as disgruntled, let me emphasize that we like the product and the people running it. We want to stay and grow with you. We switched to you from Asana and there's no comparison in terms of features and ability to manage a large number of people and projects. Thanks

### "Teamwork is great for small to mid-sized businesses"

Overall, it was a great platform to use for the business I was at. It had robust features and a short learning curve to become more proficient.

Pros

One thing that stuck out to me about Teamwork is how it combines the user experience of an enterprise-grade platform, but makes it easy enough to use for a smaller business. The interface is clean and easy-to-use while still being exceptionally robust. Time tracking and the Google Chrome feature are pretty awesome as well!

Cons

The only thing I didn't really like about Teamwork was the actual speed of the platform when you opened larger projects. With several tabs open, or a larger project opened, it would slow down significantly and it was sometimes a pain to navigate. I thought this was a computer issue on my end, but other users talked about the same problem, so I would assume it's something Teamwork should look into.

### "Easy to Use with Complexity to Adjust"

It keeps our team on track and helps us understand which team member we are waiting on a piece of the project from. From an overall view of a project and how efficiently tasks are being completed to a detailed view using Gantt Charts, it's easy to see my team's productivity. Plus it's easy to see what I have to do, to set up repeating tasks, to add special permissions to my team members and more. Would highly recommend Teamwork PM!

Pros

Teamwork helps keep our company in line where we can track projects, due dates, time tracking, milestones, important files and more. Our business wouldn't run without it. It's easy to use, but can become complex if you are utilizing all of its features or customizing your projects well. We switched from Basecamp 2 to Teamwork and have never looked back. We absolutely love it!

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say. The price, the usability and the benefits are all right for our small business.

### "Streamline for remote work"

Everyone in our company works remotely, so this has been a wonderful asset to us. Honestly, without it, we would all have to go into an office together daily. This allows our out of state clients access to a list of what they need to provide without us having to bug them about it every time.

Pros

I love how streamlined this makes our entire process. Everyone is able to work together on one project without physically being together in one room. It can be set to alert you when something you've been waiting on has been completed, so you can be working on your other projects in your downtime.

Cons

Sometimes setting up tasks and projects can be confusing and have to be gone about in strange ways, but once they are completed, it's incredibly simple to turn them into templates so you only have to struggle the first time.

### "For us, an almost perfect project management platform"

Pros

It's ease of use. We are able to quickly and effectively launch new projects and task lists based on templates and then add team and client members to their respective tasks for seamless communication, collaboration, and asset sharing.

Cons

The integrations can start to add up in cost being that you can't purchase integration ala-carte: you have to purchase different levels of subscription to have access to specific integrations. The other big downfall is that their Gantt chart is behind in terms of the competition, which is probably the reason that Gantt is not the default view for projects.

Teamwork ha sido útil para nuestra empresa ya que todos los proyectos que se desarrollan los creamos en Teamwork y podemos dar seguimiento y ver estatus de los mismos gracias a la alimentación que hace cada departamento.

Pros

Lo que más me gusta de Teamwork es que puedes manejar todos los proyectos de la empresa o el departamento perfectamente en esta plataforma. Es ideal para asignar tareas, dar seguimiento y establecer fechas límites de entregas del proyecto.

Cons

Una de las cosas menos útiles que tiene Teamwork es que no tienes la flexibilidad que ofrecen otros programas de manejo de proyectos, aparte el servicio al cliente tiene oportunidades de mejora en cuanto al tiempo de respuesta.

### "Couldn't live without this product to manage my business"

Couldn't live without it to manage my daily business workflow. I couldn't be so precise with my time tracking either, which is important for billing my clients. I usually work solo, but recently have hired additional help. The collaboration tools are awesome. I also use Teamwork Desk to create a slick support system with help from other reps. I'm a small operation, but look darn professional.

Pros

Helps me manage all aspects of my business from workflow, to billing. Seriously, it's such a valuable part of my daily workflow, that there hasn't been a day that I haven't used it when working. Also, recently I wasn't super pleased with a couple of the changes to the timer, which is very important to my billing workflow. I make suggestions to support. They listened and updated the timer! It's a complete package. I know there are other options, but honestly, I'm not sure they're as complete. Oh, and they sent me some sweet holiday swag! I wish I could post pictures of me wearing it!!

Cons

The ONLY aspect that I am not the enamored by, are some of the "improvements" they push out in the spirit of improvements. All SASS products go through a similar life cycle. For example, the UI may not have been super sexy but I liked the ease of use of the task filters. It was basic, simple. They updated it, and imho, make it's less open and the UI isn't as friendly. The flip side to that is, they do listen when you submit feedback. In some cases going as far as modifying the product based on your feedback. For example, as stated above, they updated the task timer and it wasn't functional. It was a hot mess. BUT they modified it based on my feedback and now it rocks. Thanks guys for listening.

### "My first project managemt tool that made me love planning"

Teamwork is one of the task management tools I use (probably, I run just 20% of task in Teamwork). Previously, it was my top and the only service for managing my projects.

Pros

I started using Teamwork more than 6 years ago and then it was probably the best solution in terms of price and features. Now I still have my account for Teamwork, but this is just one of the Project management tools I use for both my personal and business projects. Honestly, I think it is a matter of habbit now, I just got used to Teamwork. This service has a long history and most of my colleages know it well so we can easily collaborate. To be more precise, I like new design, customization options, price and free account (which more than enogh for personal use)

Cons

Most of my time in the office I do not use Teamwork (there's another corporate tool within our company). If compared I think Teawmork has much to improve for its mobile app. Another thing is security. I did not noticed any 2FA warnings when signing from new devices. That's an issue, because projects and tasks may contain some sensitive info. Teamwork should pay more attantion to is these days.

### "Project Management Is So Much Easier"

Pros

Tracking tasks and upcoming deadlines is really easy. Creating tasks and keeping them organized in different projects is simple to set up. Collaborating with other users in the comments for each task is not complicated either. Time tracking is also really useful when determining team member bandwidth.

Cons

Some of the filters / settings are a little bit buried and sometimes there are glitches that don't let you upload file attachments in the comments.
