Pros This software is one of the best project management and Client relations software available on the market. It is user-friendly and so simple to learn plus the integrations are insane. You can connect time trackers or use the one built in time tracker. You can grant access to your Clients and literally customize each aspect of the project and how much access they have PLUS it stores all of their information acting as a CRM as well. Not only are you able to track projects, but tasks and you can upload files and store them in the system. You can create notebooks to store information and there is also a dedicated space for messages along with a messaging app. The software is insane and perfect for the ultimate project management team. Cons Really there isn't anything to dislike and if you are a new startup or Entrepreneur they will give you a year free of their upgraded service. VR Verified Reviewer Account Supervisor Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Flexible for your needs" November 20, 2018 4.0 Pros \-Teamwork is a very intuitive program to use and doesn't take much training. -The calendar feature allows me to track numerous projects and my daily task list/milestones due that day/week/month. -It has a robust task tracking feature that can also integrate to other time tracking tools like Harvest. -It keeps record of everything (messages/conversations/files), which is great if an employee leaves the organization or if you're trying to find the history of a project. -Templates make opening new jobs that are similar to previous jobs a breeze. Cons My only gripe is that you can link tasks to milestones to show progress of milestone completion, but when you move a milestone the task list due dates don't move with automatically. You have to hand tick a box. If you forget to, you have to hand move each task. I think the reverse would be better: default to moving the tasks, and tick the box if you do NOT want to move tasks along. The ability to have tasks reoccurr and launch new projects from templates freed up staff to focus on other important areas of The business. The same account was used to manage multi service clients efficiently, especially with remote staff. The flexibility of privacy setting truly allowed for complete communication tracking without requiring communications being omitted to ensure a client didn't see it. As an administrator, I am able to take over a user account to manage every aspect of their account. Administrators can limit a users project view to only their assignments, which prevented a user from feeling overwhelmed. The system is very flexible. Like many other PM systems, outlining how the users are expected to interact with the system is critical. Doing this, allowed me to migrate projects from Central Desktop to Teamwork in a week. Pros The UI is simple to understand, the number of efficient features is phenomenal and integrations with enterprise systems like Salesforce are easy to complete. Cons There are some small nuances of the search could be better, project specific calendars would be a huge asset and allowing an entire project to be imported by csv would be incredible. Pros Can't say enough good things about this program. I have used it for the past 5 years and by far it's my go to program for any marketing agency. I love how easy it makes task management, keeping project momentum going, keeping all files associated with projects all in one place and the ability to manage dependencies. I even love that it offers billing and time tracking, which is great for marketing agency work. Cons There are few features about this software I don't like. I only wish there was a better way for TW Projects to automatically copy emails into the software as they pertain to certain projects. The design is nice and I don't feel ashamed introducing our clients onboard and use it as a ticketing app as well. Pros The application has a built-in timelogging that has made client billing so much easier. It is like Jira combined with time logging and invoicing. Cons The app has a steep learning curve much like JIRA, but once you have the proper workflow going on. It is actually quite intuitive to use. We let our clients register an account with us to file tickets, however all the comments are visible to them, so we have to re-create the ticket in an internal project to allow our devs to look into and work on it without the client seeing all the work that is happening in the backend. It would be great if every single external project has an internal tab to allow duplicating or even linking the task to the internal project. This is not because it has been the only available platform, in fact at some places I have had to use other platforms, so I know my choice of Teamwork is valid. Over the last 18 months, I have integrated it into our SOP for creative and development projects to great effect. It provides all the tools we need and importantly helps us consolidate a number of disparate individual processes into one area. So regardless of the team, the project type or the chosen methodology, all documentation can be accessed from one place and all tasks can be initiated, tracked and managed in a clear and open way. Frankly anyone not using a platform such as Teamwork is probably working a lot less efficiently than they realise. Pros Clear and easy to use. Lots of tools that work fantastically together, but also work just as well if used individually. As a platform, you can use as much or as little of the features as your project - or company setup - requires. Cons The file storage that comes with the subscription is woefully small in this day and age. We once tried using the Google Drive integration, but this was not an ideal solution. I would much rather be able to integrate external drives at a project level as opposed to the overall platform subscription level. I think the interface is very intuitive and easy to understand. I also really like it visually. You can organize work in different projects and assign tasks to the relevant people. You can also create templates for tasks of a certain type that you often do. In case you need a reminder to check something on a regular basis, you can create a repetitive task - for ex. each week. This makes it really easy to organize things. You can add different board columns to tasks - ex. research, implementation, testing, etc according to business needs, or you can add labels to tasks. Cons It may get a little bit chaotic if there are a lot of people involved in the task and working at the same time. Pros You can add subtasks, log time or activate the time tracker to check the time you spend on a certain task. Right from that time-tracking window, you can add details about the task. You can understand the essence of each feature by hovering over the icon and get what it is for. One great thing about Teamwork is its multiple features, ability to add milestones, upload files, make notes, see billable and non-billable tasks, see the team members' tasks, time spent on it. You can add multiple people to the tasks and you all can log time under it. The more I use teamwork, the more features I discover. Cons At the beginning, there is too much information and for a new user and it is difficult to perceive all the features it has. Also, the Teamwork Timer could be improved. The platform can be a one stop shop for all the projects, tasks, email, scheduling and billing. Pros It is super detailed and I like it a lot compared to other Project Management Softwares. Great details on each projects and tasks. Cons 1\. It still needs improvement specially on project descriptions part where standard users see quickly or preview the project description in full details or urls/links that can be clickable. 2. Another thing is the downtime or error on loading the pages, our team always encounter lagging or downtime errors specially when they are updating something on the platform and it feels unstable sometimes, hopefully they can check the least hours or days users are using the platform depending on the timezone. 3. Some app integrations are not working properly like slack, it doesn't sync the way it was explained.
