Working with my contact at Maxpanda has been just the way I like it. Straight forward, direct answers no fluff. I love getting something that is worth what I'm paying, and I get what I expect.

Pros

Simple to use, very intuitive. Has all the features we want and need, and they just keep improving it.

Cons

Not sure there is anything, no kidding. I don't get hung up on the fancy GUI's, it still looks very nice but it's about the function of form.

Currently, for what we do there has been no problems. We use the product to support our Accounts Payable system and it has proved to be a very nice companion. We are able to maintain a database of requests and timelines.

Pros

It provides us with great functionality for the things we do. It is a great tracking system for our AP function.

its easy to use, I like that everything is well explained and it gives you enough space to specifically describe what you need to be done.

Cons

Customer service could honestly improve a little more. They are good most of the times, just 1 or 2 people should get more training.

MaxPanda has saved me time in getting out work orders in a timely manner. Also it is very helpful when reviewing order numbers and it's contents.

Pros

This is a cleaner version than in the past.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I did not like while using this software.

Lower downtime and PM's are done on a scheduled basis and not when they have time.

Pros

Easy of moving through the modules and reporting. All users feel comfortable using software everyday and it has improved machine up time by having consistent follow up.

Cons

Some reports are not needed for my operation. some of the module setups are a little confusing and could be made a little easier to setup for a less than savvy computer user.

The ease of communication

Pros

The ease of creating fields to be able to be specific about the request and directions of the request. I like that I am able to submit the request to a multitude of departments using one software. I am able to do a check request while also communicating maintenance problems.

Cons

Sometimes I have experienced some technical difficulties but even then they seem to be fixed quickly.

I find that when there are updates there isnt enough notification. Maybe its head office that doesn't notify but we land up with days when the system doesn't work and the whole day is missed as communication is lost.there are too many updates

Pros

The program is great for tracking the progress of a work order & being able to have the PM's set up on a reoccurring schedules is great

Cons

There are to many steps for an administrator to submit assign then approve a work order. With this access to the program I feel like you should be able to do all of that in one step. Also a work order should not be able to get approved without it being assigned to someone.

Overall a great tool for managing projects and recurring maintenance. We use it across multiple sites to good effect.

Pros

Of all the maintenance management software we looked at, this software was among the most easy to use with a very friendly user interface.

Cons

Initially when we set up our site we had bought metal asset tags for longevity. Unfortunately we were unable to enter those in to be read by the system and we had to print our own QR tags out of the system which meant they weren’t as hard wearing.

I really like all of the reports you can pull and how easy it makes it to manage preventative maintenance and costs.

Cons

Tracking down time on machines is not part of the software although you can track labor hours

Very easy for users to fill out work order requests and for staff to maintain a list of pending work orders.

Cons

I'd like to see more customization on the notifications for work order status changes. It would be nice if the email notification had actionable links built in. Also an evaluation system for completed work orders would be a great benefit.

I would like to have more vehicle specific options for morning and arvo bus runs.

The customer service is amazing. I had one main issue with the mobile app. Not a bug but a feature request. I sent it to them and they added it to the next release.

Cons

The speed of the database sync is a little slow on the mobile app, but they have admitted it and are working on it.

Pros

System is easy to set up and use. The price is also very reasonable.

Cons

It is a bit difficult searching some specific assets without having to dig and dissect the data some. It does not have the ability to add non-generic tasks while updating a work order. The same goes for adding parts. Ideally there would be a better method of creating a "Project" that could hold multiple work orders within it, so that each WO could be completed with its own information such as invoices & hours. As it currently is, we have to combine different (possibly unassociated) invoices, time and tasks into a single work order, which makes the work order very messy, confusing and chaotic. For example the 'Project' might be "Remodel House" and the work orders associated with it might be "Replace Plumbing", "Paint Interior Walls", & "Install Kitchen Cabinets."
