They have great customer support so when there is a problem someone is taking care of it. Pros Invoices run through them and great customer support. The invoicing is something only they provide and no one else. Cons Getting everything setup was time consuming, but not really a con. It was took time to get all the information into it to be able to start using it. It has made my job easier, saved the company money, and improved the overall quality of our fleet. Pros Fleetio has helped organize the maintenance of our fleet. It's been extremely helpful tracking registration, insurance, preventative maintenance, inspections, and other vehicle history. This has saved us time and money as we get quotes for future repairs and helped us keep track to warranties on failed parts. I like that I can have my Officer's download the app and be completing inspections the same day. Cons App sometimes freezes. Needs to be reloaded to complete functions. The dashboard also make it very easy to see certain aspects of your fleet and is very easy to stay on top of things because of the daily reminders. Pros What I liked the most about Fleetio was the automated maintenance reminders, service history tracking, and integration with shops. It helps fleets reduce downtime and stay compliant. Also the reporting side of Fleetio is very helpful and gives important analytics. Cons Some workflows seem locked in and are nit fully customizable where you can make the report to your personal liking. August 15, 2023 5.0 We were able to customize the maintenance schedules to fit our needs. The vehicle inspections are key to saving time and having instant reporting on file. We love Fleetio it's so user friendly and easy to use. Pros I'm not going to lie, set up took a little time, but when you are able to integrate and set the account up from the very start, everything works perfectly and saves us a lot of time. Cons Integration was not difficult, but it took some time. Being patient with the process is key. You will not be disappointed in the end. October 30, 2019 5.0 Everything has been awesome since the get-go when we came on board back in 2013. Fleetio's platform has evolved quite a bit over time, and I don't reap all of the benefits entirely, but my experience with the platform and their team has exceeded my expectations time and time again. Pros Realistically I love everything that Fleetio has to offer. What I love most about it is the inspection form workflow. This option has streamlined our pre/post trip inspections within our Company, and has created a "workflow" process from when the problem was initially found, to when it was repaired; you can even reject the repair if it wasn't done properly, and/or if the problem comes back! Also, the Fleetio Parts app has allowed us to streamline our online inventory, and tie parts into work orders so we can track what trucks use which parts. Cons The fuel card integration has never worked for me. Honestly it is probably an operator error on my end, but i would say that was my only bad experience trying to get that to link up to Fleetcor. Pros I like how granular you can get with data, and the exporting works great too! I am able to save views for various things and customize labels and statuses for units as well. Cons Some work order creations would highly benefit from pre-made template that allow various fields to be prefilled. It would also be great to have a select number of business days rather than just a calendar selector. At first it took the drivers a little bit to get used to the new system (which didn't take to long - its fairly intuitive). It's helped us see who left the truck dirty, who's caused damages prior, and better keep track of maintenance. Pros It is very helpful to keep track of issues with trucks, it also helps us ensure all our drivers are ACTUALLY doing a pre-trip. Cons Our mechanic never checks it, so we still have to let him know about issues with the trucks. That is an US problem - Not a Fleetio problem. May 19, 2021 5.0 I have found the product extremely user friendly and have been able to teach even the most unskilled technology users how to navigate and use the program with ease. Overall, integration was fairly seamless. Fleetio comes ready to use and customizable with instant results to see real-time changes, which is helpful during the implementation and learning phase. Since many users tend to be reluctant to change, the ease of use and demonstration of the app makes the transition easier for the new users. The training process with the Fleetio team was also beneficial for our success of the rollout. The customization options and interactions with the Fleetio team have also been big benefits of the product. The team is always helpful and open to feedback, and has even taken some of our suggestions and put them into action. Pros The items adding most value to our team is the import/export templates available for all the data points and reminders, the ease of adding new inventory and users, the customizable inspection options for vehicles and equipment, the integration options for telematics, fuel, and numerous other APIs desired, and the shop directory (which allows us to do more than just search, but we can add new vendors and immediately report issues and get feedback). It's not just a maintenance app. We can add registration details and reminders, permits and DOT inspections. We continue to find uses for the Fleetio app we didn't even realize we had. It has been wonderful! Cons Previously I would say that the automation between AI and Fleetio to clear out service reminders was not as efficient as I would hope, however with the new mapping feature I believe that will eliminate those problems going forward. Just proof that Fleetio is continuously making improvements to yield a better user experience. The thing I currently like the least would be the difference in interface between the app and the web version. I can see far more on the web than those using the app (because of my position I tend to use the web version more than the app) so sometimes it can make teaching a little more challenging if I haven't noticed the feature was missing in app yet, but it isn't a huge issue, just something I have to be aware of. Reason for choosing Fleetio We didn't really find an alternative product that offered the same thing. Some offered maintenance and tracking for stationary items, or had cool customizable features but were missing vendor networks. Nothing really compared to Fleetio besides the maintenance program with a fleet management company, which does not offer the customization we needed for our in-house repair shop processes. The customer service is great and the ease of the platform is fantastic. All the information I need pertaining to the fleet can be uploaded and programed and I haven't come across something I have not been able to record or set up reminders for. Pros I love the ease of entering the vehicle and maintenance information. Additionally, I can store vehicle documents (registration, insurance cards, bill of sale, etc.) which is accessible by anyone in my company that we allow to access which is better than using something like DropBox, Sharepoint, or Google docs. For the fleet management side, it is a great platform to keep track of maintenance intervals and takes the guesswork out of it. Cons I haven't run across any issues with Fleetio so far. The only thing is ensuring you are entering the service schedule properly along with the current miles. I did it in the wrong order so it was showing that the vehicle didn't need maintenance until the next 7500 miles, instead of 7500 miles from the last maintenance. Once everything is entered properly, it works like a dream. The more API's the better Maybe with an accounting system in future would be helpful and more fuel card API's automatic transactions instead of having to request CSV from our vendors. Cons there are still minor issues throughout such as the fact we are not able to delete PO's when using fifo This does not make sense you must understand incorrect data entry happens and there should be ways to fix these errors. Fleetio is very intuitive and the entire Fleetio staff is always super helpful and friendly. I'd recommend it to any company with a fleet of any size. Pros Fleetio gives me incredible visibility into our fleet. We use Fleetio to track about 1100 vehicles across the country. Before Fleetio, we had little to no idea whether maintenance was being performed on time. Now, a simple glance at the dashboard tells me or our managers where we stand. They also have easy to understand reports that help me drill down into the details. Cons It is not fully customizable by the user. That can be a pro for beginners but a slight drawback for advanced users. So, if there is a feature you would like to use that they do not provide, you can't tweak the system on your own. The Fleetio team is great about taking feedback though and they are always improving and expanding the system, often based on customer input.
