Cherwell has been fairly easy to implement and is easy to use, but a few of the features feel a bit underdeveloped. The browser client doesn't have the same full functionality as the installed rich client, which is a bit of an issue since 99% of our user base is browser-only.

Only evaluation of the Cherwell software during a detailed ITSM selection procedure. This product came out of the evaluation in the TOP-6. Eventually the fact that the product is too much focused on IT departments and less on our way of working made us decide to go for a different solution. The support was very good during the evaluation.

Very well structured configuration environment.

Cons

Typical software for IT department and less for general use in ITSM applications.

Still learning about Cherwell- I'm very interested in mApp and integrations. CGC conference and culture seem pretty impressive. Features seem to stand up favorably to Service Now, though at the speed both change its difficult to say who is on top.

Cherwell has streamlined our Service Desk operations. Requests are getting to the right people faster and with higher accuracy. It is simple to set-up and easy on the end-users. Plus, it really can be an Enterprise Service Management Solution

I love developing in Cherwell. It's quick and easy, however it's a shame we cannot have multiple developers working on the same business object. Also, upgrading is simple, however there are bugs! I wish Cherwell had a hot fix/patch process.
