December 11, 2025 5.0 We had a very easy transition from our prior workflow tool. Robohead is very straightforward and easy to setup and having our staff fill out custom creative briefs based on the project type saves us so much time! Pros The ability to customize and refine the service. There's so many different options you can truly develop the tool to fit your specific needs. On top of that, the customer service is excellent, they are very responsive and willing to help! Cons The only issue with so much customization is you need to make a lot of decisions on how you want things. So it can be a little trial and error before you get it right. I wish we could customize the survey tool more though, that one is less flexible. From my perspective we are all using it with ease. Pros Robohead was very easy to learn and use. It is fairly intuitive. It's been a great asset at my company to submit and fulfill requests for all departments of the company. Cons There are a few minor issues that I have but I'm not sure if it's user error or what. The due dates for projects to line up across views when multiple people are assigned to a project. As a photo editor my deadline is often different that a designer or art director's due date. In my task view the final deadline is what I see but in the details the due date is different. There is honestly never a bad day with it. It is user friendly and I like how you can post everything that you need in once spot. Pros I like how organized it is and how it breaks down the project list and how you can mark the status of your projects. Cons Not being able to hit 'next' when you are in a project. They're quick and easy to use and give us the whole picture of all projects at once. We use the system to oversee all of the projects funneling through our internal creative agency, and it's simple for each account/project manager to customize the views to see only the items relevant to their daily work, but we can see the bigger picture of what our team is working on too. The customer service is excellent - I always receive timely assistance when I chat with the support team, and most of the time they can resolve the issue on the spot. In the event that they cannot quickly resolve the issue, I receive detailed follow-up when they do resolve it. Robohead also listens to their customers through the enhancement suggestions. The release webinars are valuable to learn about the updates and new features that are added. Cons There are a few pieces of browser functionality that don't work with RH. Currently there's not a way to duplicate a tab in the browser and get to the same place in RH (this would be useful when cross-referencing job details and reviews, for example) and the "back" button doesn't work either. Neither are deal-breakers, just would be nice to have. It would be nice for account/project managers to be able to organize the "My Work" view for project team members (when multiple tasks for different projects are due on the same day, sometimes there is a certain order that things should be worked on, and that has to be manually communicated instead of something we can organize in the system). Pros It's very easy to add and edit tasks. We are able to switch roles and responsibilities on projects easily between designated users. Cons It's important because we do pre-production work on many projects at the same time. It would be nice to have a better unified way of viewing "My Work" where projects were grouped together in a clear way. as it stands it's just a huge task list and it's hard to tell which task belongs to which project, even if you sort by "job" number. We have only been using the platform for less than 3 months, but the implementation, training, and support has been A+. It seems like everyone at RoboHead is dedicated to providing the best software for your business needs, or the best support possible, and even has an area where you can submit enhancement suggestions - amazing!! Pros The user experience within the platform is great. Everything is well-laid out, and easy to read and navigate. I love that RoboHead offers many different reporting chart types, making it easy to switch between different options depending on your user role or need. The ability to holistically look at a campaign, then narrow down to a project, or task view, but also see all tasks and reviews together on a project view, make for great organization! Cons Robohead does not have a high-level team or account calendar (yearly, but able to be viewed monthly), which would be super helpful when looking at, for example, all the campaigns going on for the year or quarter, or seeing which social media posts or blog posts are planned to go out on a certain day. Pros I find that the most impactful thing for me as a project manager is to go in to one place to see what the status of all of my projects. I can see where the hold ups are and keep things moving smoothly. Cons I wish there were an easy way to route our emails. The ability to divide projects on multiple levels (from campaigns to individual projects to individual tasks) and gate them based on what task has been completed is incredibly helpful. Also, the reviews section is set up in such a way that makes collaboration very easy (the ability to compare and contrast multiple versions of a document along with their related comments makes it very easy to track changes and make new revisions) Cons The interface is not incredibly attractive, and when first getting used to the software, it can be hard to find what you are looking for. If there are a lot of people making notes on a project, it can be kind of difficult to follow the hierarchy of the thread (It would be better if you could organize notes by users). Robohead keeps our projects on time and well organized. The scheduling of projects is critical to meet all our deadlines. We miss less than 1 percent of our deadlines because of the software. Cons We use most of the features and have no least favorites. Robohead updates the site very often giving users a better experience regularly.
