Comments: I used Liberty4 Consignment for almost 3 months and was highly satisfied with its features and functions as well as it's customer service. The price was kind of high for me but I am a smaller clothing consignment boutique in a rural town. It was a little hard to use at first but after the tutorials, it was a bit easier to understand. However, even with that being said my employees could never get the hang of inputting the inventory so I went with another software choice. Before I changed software programs, though, Liberty worked diligently with me to try and help my employees better understand the program and its features which were really great especially the lengths they went to try and help. I probably talked with them every day for almost two weeks before choosing to go another way.

Pros: I absolutely loved the fact that Liberty4 Consignment has so many unique features. You can run almost any type of report you can think of. It makes it really easy when you need specific information on a single account or type of item. It even allows you to print checks from the software and give the consignor a percentage increase for using their earning as store credit. It has so many unique features it is hard for me to remember them all. It is a little on the expensive side but the product is well worth the price you will be paying for it and they have tons of payment options and also a cloud-based option for those who don't want to step off the ledge just yet and purchase the physical software.

Cons: Unfortunately, all of my employees had a hard time trying to learn how to use the software. They even had a hard time with checking people out before I purchased a handheld scanner to scan the items. They still had trouble inputting inventory and never figured out how to do reports of any kind or even look up accounts for consignors. In their defense, the software can be a bit confusing without having taken the training tutorials. Also, the Liberty4 Consignment software seems geared more towards a larger consignment store rather than a small boutique such as i have.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use the free trial period to try it and see if it's for you. I am a smaller boutique style store that really doesn't need all the bells and whistles that come with the software and the price was always a little too steep for me to justify so I went with another software choice, but that doesn't mean it will not work for your needs. As I said before, use the FREE DEMO they offer and see if it's right for your store. Honestly, if I ever decided to expand I will go back to Liberty4 consignment because in my opinion, yes it is a little conflicting to learn, but it's pros outweigh it's cons in my opinion.

Comments: Worn with LUV is a children's consignment shop located in Finksburg, MD. Having been open for almost 4 years with the help of Liberty4 Consignment, we have grown slowly but steadily. We pride ourselves on the quality of our items and rely on our software to help us run an efficient business. When we first opened back in December 2009, we started with a different consignment software that claimed that it could do everything that we wanted it to do. In addition, this software boasted great support for the stores who have their software. Within 3 months of purchasing the software and opening my store, I ran into problems and the support staff was unavailable and unresponsive. This is when I called the sales team at Liberty. Within a week of phone calls and decision making, I took the plunge and made the switch to Liberty4 Consignment in April 2009. I spent the first week during the transition on the phone on a few occasions with the tech staff who did everything they could to make the conversion seamless. While there were challenges in starting all over after having started just a few short months before, after all the time and attention I received from the tech staff at Liberty, I knew I made the right choice. As weeks passed and my comfort level increased, I learned more and more pieces of the software and realized how multi-faceted the software really was. A novice can use it to do the basics. Each employee who has been trained on the system in our store has made a smooth transition and has learned the required functions quickly and seamlessly. I would be lying if I said that every day was perfect and there were no problems. One of the best parts of the Liberty4 Consignment system and the ResaleWorld "family" is the tech team. I have always gotten great help from Angel, Russ, Alex, Mahaswar and others who have come to my tech call aid. Instead of calling in and waiting on hold until you can be helped, ResaleWorld has you call in and be put into a tech queue. I have always been called back the same day, most of the time within the hour. Problems encountered have been fixed quickly too; in some cases a more lengthy discussion or research is needed and a follow up call has been made. I have come to know and respect the guys in the By April of 2011, with quite a bit of help again from the dedicated tech staff at ResaleWorld, Worn with LUV became an online presence by using ReCommerce. Again, without the tech staff, I would have been able to make the transition but they made the work appear to be seamless and effortless. I trusted that any bumps in the road would be handled professionally and with great care. It was in February of 2013 that Worn with LUV ventured onto eBay and we have grown by leaps and bounds since adding this simple feature. This transition was made easier because I knew we had the support team available if we needed it. Liberty4 Consignment is an integral part of Worn with LUV and it's not just a software program. I refer to my "tech team" when I am questioned about how our software works or when there is a problem I can't answer. I know that the support plan and the tech staff of Resale World are part of the "team" that helps to make Worn with LUV be as successful as it can be. If you are considering purchasing Liberty4 Consignment, you can't just purchase the software, as you will be missing an integral part of what makes it work best. You really need to make sure that you also get the support plan because having the ability to have access to the best support team in the industry who is devoted to helping you grow your business to be the best it can be, is what made me know that I made the right decision with the software! Liberty4 Consignment and ResaleWorld's tech support team is the best decision a consignment store can make for their business and it's worth every penny!

Pros: Robust. Dependable. Hasn't crashed yet. User friendly. Screen displays are pretty customizable. Tech staff is VERY knowledgeable. Pick their brain, they enjoy the challenge and are very willing to work with store owners who have a higher level of technical knowledge. They offer online trainings - perfect for those of us who cannot fly to FL for 3 days!

Cons: Pricey, but worth it IMOP. Reporting isn't as customizable as I would like but they will work with you on ad hocs - at a price. POS features could be improved upon, such as individual coupons within a multi item receipt... Tech support plan requires purchase of thermal tags = not cheap. I never get a warm body when I call in - always have to leave a message, BUT calls are usually returned within same biz day. Vendor's trainings are held quarterly and seem to be during busy industry times and will not held if it falls around holidays? In 2013, I wanted to enroll in Liberty Cloud. Was reviewing web advertised pricing I was looking at with a salesperson, who stated the price I was quoting to her was not correct - I sent her a screen shot of what I saw. She saw it and said it was wrong. Within minutes, the web page was updated to a different package and I was simply thanked for pointing out the mistake. Just remember that this is a business, not a charity. Businesses don't make money giving stuff away. Right?

Recommendations to other buyers: Get familiar with the provisions of the tech support billing contract. Even if you close your shop, you are still obligated to pay out the remainder of the contract. Take advantage of the online trainings. They are great!!! Browse the user boards - most other shop owners can answer basic questions and you can learn different ways of doing the things you do every day! It is very helpful.

Comments: I cannot tell you enough how satisfied, impressed my wife and I are over the service and support we have received during the construction of our new ReCommerce website integrated with Liberty 4 Consignment. We have been using Liberty since we opened our store in early 2008 along with an independently hosted website that administered ourselves. Since store opening we already had a reference standard for software support in the form of Angel Vazquez. The rest of the support team has been great as well. We have found Liberty to be a robust and versatile and logical tool and the support staff flexible and eager to please in making adaptations based on our needs. It was only logical to integrate our website into it. After consulting with Angel this past summer about implementing Liberty's integrated ReCommerce web hosting it seemed a no-brainer to sign on, especially as he then had available time to work on our site. As I had a lot of travel and other distractions that made me slow to do the the work I needed to in moving all of the images from our existing website into Liberty to make ready for the conversion. By the time I was ready for him, Angel had a lot on his plate, but he went well above and beyond to get me up and running once I was ready, and antsy, to convert. Since that time he has been equally attentive to my continual requests as we continue to tweak the site. I cannot say enough about his proficiency, patience and cooperation in this project and in general. I also want to sing the praises of Mahashwar. I met him at the Resale World office for a brief seminar about ReCommerce shortly after Angel convinced me to sign on. Mahashwar gave me an excellent overview and from that day on has tirelessly fielded my continual questions as I continue to fine tune the website. Whether it is a ReCommerce or a general Liberty issue, I have sometimes felt guilty as we execute his instructions on our multiple computers and offered to "let him go" while I complete them but he always cheerfully stays with me until he knows all is good. While the one-two punch of Angel and Mahashwar are the Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris of software technical support, the rest of the team has been great to us as well. All are articulate and attentive and follow through. I am also impressed with ReCommerce tool itself. Especially after the software I had been using for our website it is a joy to use even aside from the integration with the latest version of Liberty 4 Consignment. The i-phone and i-pad app has been a joy to use, greatly simplifying getting items online quickly.

Comments: We've had Liberty for over 15 years now. We started with the dekstop version and moved over to the Cloud version as we added locations. The cloud makes it so easy to move items from one store to another. We also love the seperate and combined reporitng we can get. The software itself makes it easy to enter inventory that we purchase upfront. The staff and the techs are great to work with and truly care... which is so rare to see these days. Go with Liberty and you'll get top notch service, product and peace of mind!

Pros: Ease of use and features! The software is very flexible and enables us to run reports to help us know whats in inventory, what days are busiest so we know how to staff, what is selling the best and the worst and much more. The Resale Rewards program keeps our consignors coming back again and again. We use to use a punch card system which lost us money. Resale reward tracks everything for your customers on their mobile devices and they love it.

Cons: None really ...It is the best employee you'll ever have! The software works for you not the other way around.

Comments: Spanky's consignment is located in Vancouver, WA. We are a large one-stop consignment shop with over 7,000 sq ft of consignment and up to 50,000 items in inventory at one time. We looked for a new software system in 2010 because our home-grown software system from the 1990's was very inefficient and outdated. We needed the flexibility of making changes to a customer's account, tracking data and a more user-friendly Point of Sale system. Spanky's purchased Liberty 4 Consignment in October of 2010 and went live with the system on December 15, 2010. The staff at Liberty helped us convert all of our data from our old system to Liberty; the process was surprisingly easy and quick. Training our staff internally was really very easy as well. If your staff knows Windows and how to manipulate a mouse they can quickly pick up Liberty. The technical support and customer service that Liberty provides is amazing! We are so pleased. I was a little hesitant because we are out on the west coast and Liberty support is on the east coast but this has not been an issue for us. Technical support is knowledgeable and always willing to help. The techs listen to any challenges and help come up with a solution for our business. The software development team takes into consideration any feedback we give them about the product when developing new software releases. Liberty has changed our business for the better. We are more efficient in ways I couldn't even imagine. Some of these efficiencies include: Point of Sale ease of entry, sale and discount overrides are easy, integration of credit card processing, the ability to set security levels for certain tasks, the ease of accessing a customers account and balance while in the sale screen and the benefit of collecting email addresses and customer info for marketing purposes. Benefits on the inventory side include the ability to search for an item in our inventory using multiple fields, tracking categories in our system for reporting purposes, quick customizable screen layout options for quick item entry, multiple price code options to manage consignment splits and markdowns, as well as the ability to charge an item fee to maximize profitability. We look forward to working with Liberty in the future as we grow and expand our business. We have not been down once while on Liberty which is quite a change for us!

Comments: The Clothes Horse is a busy women's and children's shop, processing hundreds of items each day. Over the years, we have added and subtracted departments and categories. Our software has made each transition an easy one. We run the program on several dedicated stations: processing incoming, POS, account look up/payout, and my desk. This is a tremendous upgrade from the manual system they were using when I purchased my store 14 years ago. Within days of taking over, I realized we needed a computer program to help us work more efficiently and effectively. I researched software companies and tried several program demos. It was an easy decision to go with Liberty4Consignment, as the program was the most user friendly and gave me more access to info and reports than any other program. I have not regretted that decision at all. While the program is solid, what makes it even better for me is that Resaleworld is constantly looking for ways to improve it by taking into account the requests and insights from those of us in the trenches. Over the years I have enjoyed the changes and upgrades that have been made to the program. Each one makes my life and that of my employees easier. I have found the tech support department to be top notch. They are prompt in returning my calls, courteous, and above all, know what they are talking about. Recently, I switched over to a credit card processor that is integrated with the Liberty program. It has been wonderful. We have less employee errors, faster checkouts for customers, and spend less time reconciling the days activities. I also enjoy several other options offered, such as the Rewards Program to help increase sales. It was easy to set up and my customers love that they do not have to carry a special card in their wallet to earn their points. Resaleword has been responsive in requests for more reports to track customer purchases and these reports help me to track the success of my rewards program, coupons, sales events, as well as identifying my "best" customers. We also offer our customers an opportunity to monitor their accounts online, which they love. Without a doubt, Liberty4 Consignment is THE program you want to use in your business!

Comments: We used Liberty4Consignment four years, and while the daily operation was generally good, we always knew that we were not able to benefit from what the software offered. Larger resale businesses, especially those with more than one location and a dedicated back-office staff may find this to be the right solution for their needs; smaller operations may find it daunting and more challenging than beneficial.

Pros: The Liberty4Consign software is likely the most fully-featured POS offering for Resale, Consignment, and Antique Mall retailers. Management of vendors, customers, inventory, purchases, reports allow you to do almost anything related to your resale business. The Cloud offering reduces risk of data loss and minimizes the time you might spend doing software updates. Support is responsive in general, but not all technicians were adept at resolving issues.

Cons: All the features come with a complexity 'hit', and training our staff beyond the basics proved to be near impossible. Because of this we were rarely ever able to make use of the features. The software is dated in its design and use, revealing in a not-so-graceful way that this is a monster database application. The cloud hosting frequently froze, requiring a reset either by ResaleWorld Support or by me as the store's admin user. More significant and annoying was the sales model where you must purchase one item/service to receive another. For example, with the Cloud subscription the free tech support was only available when subscribed to a tag purchase plan (and the tags were appropriately marked up to cover the cost.) Use of automated consignor emailing involved integration with ReCommerce, another paid service. If you want complete support, you must purchase your printer hardware through them, again at a significant cost. Reports: While many usable reports are built in to the software, attempting to modify or creating custom reports could lead to unpredictable results. Exporting data into Excel ( which should be a common tool for managers wanting to analyze data) is daunting, with numerous export options and Liberty rounding dollar amounts or including/omitting random bits of data, and formatting the exports in a difficult-to-use format.

Pros: The software works. Most of the time the behavior within the program is predictable and repeatable.

Cons: The software reporting features have never worked completely. Prices are unreasonable for what are termed upgrades, unless you get enrolled in a plan to buy things in such quantities that you don't need. Technical support is not available on Saturdays and many times you get the impression that you are burdening them when you have problems.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that you understand all of the continuing charges for support and upgrades. Make sure that "Bug fixes", "error Corrections" are not considered upgrades. You need to make sure that functionality improvements to keep the software current and operating within federal guidelines are not considered upgrades that you have to pay for. Technical support Saturday, what is generally the busiest day of they year for small business retailers and consignment shops should be standard. The software should also be expandable to operate with what are becoming standard POS payment methods and equipment. It should not require very specific equipment to work with. The software is a database to track inventory, sales, and to act as a POS. Beyond this it should function with more general equipment standard to the industry.

I¿m sorry to hear of your frustrations. My understanding is that you¿re particularly unhappy regarding the transition to EMV credit card processing ¿ specifically, the need to purchase an upgrade from the version you¿re currently using. I would like to address the subject of transitioning to EMV processing and the need to upgrade in particular, as well as several inaccuracies contained in your review.

Our customer base has come to expect us to release major upgrades, containing many new enhancements, at least once per year. We close off major branches of our software once they¿ve been released for a sufficient period of time and only after we¿ve made every effort to address any bugs/unintended behavior in that particular branch ¿ this is a necessity in order to move forward. Continuing to develop for older versions of our software, as Microsoft does, would be a major undertaking for us ¿ one that would require a much larger development staff, which would in turn drive up our pricing. The version of Liberty that you¿re currently running was released in 2011. Payment processors only begun to support EMV transactions in 2015, and EMV standards & requirements continued to be revised and refined through last year. There was certainly no way to anticipate the requirements of EMV processing back in 2011, and we simply do not maintain source code for versions of the software that old.

The changes that we did have to make on our end to earn EMV certification for the payment processor you use centered around card issuer requirements for receipts. We had to alter our database structure to store EMV data, and we had to alter our receipt printing logic to pull in and output this data. I personally lobbied that processor to certify older versions of Liberty for EMV processing on the grounds that they have their own internal transaction database, and their software is capable of printing/reprinting receipts without directly involving Liberty. I was unsuccessful in my attempts to persuade them, which is regrettable, as I feel that much of your angst towards us is centered around this particular issue.

The list of compatible hardware for our payment processing integrations comes directly from the payment processors, not from Resaleworld. The nature of the transition to EMV has resulted in limited options ¿ payment processors have had to focus their efforts on specific devices to achieve their own certification, and have at times run into bottlenecks outside of their own ability to control. When we first reached out to your payment processor about EMV Certification for their solution, we were informed that a specific would be the first device certified on their end. Several months later, we were informed that they were still waiting on firmware changes from that device¿s manufacturer before they could certify it, but they had certified a completely different device in the meantime. Keep in mind that a lack of current options doesn¿t mean that more won¿t become available down the road. I also see where you¿ve been made aware of other payment processors integrate with Liberty, which have different hardware to choose from ¿ although an upgrade to a newer version of our software is still required for this option. Please understand that there¿s nothing we can do on our end if the payment processors themselves don¿t support other hardware.

The transition to EMV processing is the single most significant change to the credit card processing industry in the past thirty years. Many in the industry share the opinion that last October¿s liability shift came far too early, and the entire industry ¿ from the hardware suppliers to the card processors to the software vendors all the way down to merchants ¿ wasn¿t adequately prepared. From my perspective, I can assure you though that the transition has been a frustrating period for all involved. I can also tell you that we at Resaleworld did everything we could to make EMV processing available to our customers in a timely fashion, and to make the transition as smooth as possible. I honestly feel that your review is unfairly lashing out at us over factors outside of our control, and when we¿ve taken reasonable steps to meet our customers¿ needs.

I feel it is worth pointing out that your statement implying Liberty 4 doesn¿t adhere to Federal Guidelines is incorrect. I can certainly understand your frustrations regarding the transition to EMV, however supporting EMV is not a mandate from either the federal government or from card issuers. Making the switch is generally accepted to be a good idea, and failure to support EMV does place you at a greater liability risk in the case of fraudulent transactions. That said, many national chains have elected not to make the transition as they feel the liability risk is outweighed by the cost of updating their software & hardware ¿ and they¿re well within their rights to do so.

I feel that your comments on the reporting features of Liberty are very misrepresentative of this area of our software. Liberty 4¿s reporting is far and away the best in the consignment industry, and is extremely comprehensive. The software includes over 120 unique reports, some of which have thirty of more filters to allow for our customers to drill down to the level of detail they need. In fairness, reporting is an area where we have focused a great deal of our attention over the past five years. Since the 2011 release of the version of Liberty that you¿re using, we have added over 400 different enhancements to our reporting system. I encourage you to upgrade in order to take advantage of all of the improvements that have been made over the past five years.

You state in two different areas that there is no technical support on Saturdays. Resaleworld offers Technical Support on Saturdays from 10:00am through 2:00pm est. We have offered this service for nearly six years. While we do not have a full staff available on Saturdays, we¿re certainly able to handle any sort of technical emergency that prevents our customers from conducting business normally. Saturday support calls pertaining to non-emergency issues that cannot be quickly resolved are rescheduled for the following week, in order to ensure that the limited staff on duty has the availability to handle emergency issues.

We certainly do appreciate your business, and I wish that we could offer a solution that didn¿t require an additional expenditure on your part. Keeping a comprehensive software package such as Liberty up-to-date is a significant undertaking, especially when it involves incorporating new technologies such as EMV card processing. Staying current does require a significant investment of resources on our part, which of course plays a major role in our upgrade pricing structure.

Pros: I like the actual software okay. Now that I know how to navigate the features I use most frequently, it's easy and fairly quick to use and enter items and make sales.

Cons: I purchased this software over 4 years ago. I have also subscribed to the tech support plan for just as long, and the tag plan for quite some time, and added users. Even though I've spent thousands on these products, almost every time I call for help with something, they want more money. The customer service is horrible and they know that since you've purchased the software, and have your entire inventory within it, they corner you into paying whatever charges they decide to impose at any time. I'm so sick of feeling abused by Resale World. I wish I would have chosen another software company that valued my business and didn't make me feel like they hijacked my money. Additionally, tech support has no idea what they are talking about half the time.

Recommendations to other buyers: When choosing a consignment software, put a lot of value on the company's customer service and tech support plans, as you will inevitably need help at times and don't want to constantly be forced to pay more money.

I wanted to respond to the review after having read the specifics and also investigating the account in detail. I first and foremost want to say that we value each and every one of our customers and that customer service is our number one priority. We greatly appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear how you like the usage and feature set of the software. We work extremely hard to produce the absolute best software we can. We also continually strive to improve feature set and offerings based on customer feedback and market demand.

I wanted to investigate what you are saying re: additional charges. The store has been on a tech support plan and has received FREE updates to the version that was originally purchased in 2011. When we released a new version of the software over a year later there was a charge to upgrade to that new version if you wanted to upgrade. You did not opt to do so. Our company actually offers our clients an incentive to get FREE major upgrades via a Reward program we offer everyone at the time of purchase. This is pretty much unheard of in the software industry. Almost everyone can relate to having at least heard of if not bought software like Turbo Tax. Turbo tax and other well known software like Quickbooks release new products every year. Whether you bought their 2014 version or not you still would have to pay if you want the new 2015 version. They may give you a small credit of like 50.00 but you still have to pay for the new version if you would like to utilize it. With our specialized software at a higher price point we offer a much better credit plus as I just mentioned we even offer it for FREE if you are on our Reward incentive program. That is when you sign up for both our tech support and tag plan within 30 days of purchase. Lauren you opted not to do so and did not add a tag plan until over a year after your purchased the software. We offered the reward program to you verbally at time of purchase,then via a follow up email at the time of purchase and then via a customer service follow up phone call from our sales assistant Jennifer. I checked for any other charges on your account and see no additional charges from us for anything. You have only purchased tags from us. No hardware and no additional support charges other than the price of your support contract. I personally extended lower pricing on your support plan when you asked for an extension prior to adding on an additional user license that you stated you had not had the time to implement. I also converted a license you purchased for another location for you at no charge plus this was an exception to our standard policy. We also price matched on tags that you were buying from another vendor. We do not require that you upgrade to the latest version and I believe from reading your file that this is where the issue is arising where you are saying we are requiring money for other things.

Our support staff works very hard to give the best customer service possible. We have excellent tools such as remote access that we utilize all the time to connect directly to your computer as well as personalized one on one phone support . We offer the most staff and longest support hours in our industry. We also as you can see from other customer feedback get many glowing reviews of our techs and their knowledge and service skills. If you ever feel that one of our techs you speak with has not given you the correct answer or explained something to your satisfaction...not assisted you in a polite manner etc., we want to know about that right away. Our tech support manager is Alex Sliment and he is always happy to look in to a call. We record all support calls for quality assurance. We can address a call immediately. We will then communicate with the tech in question. We will listen completely to any call and follow up with you on actions taken and discuss the findings.

Comments: Having been open for almost 6 years with the help of Liberty4 Consignment, we have grown slowly but steadily. We pride ourselves on the quality of our items and rely on our software to help us run an efficient business. When we first opened back in December 2009, we started with a different consignment software that claimed that it could do everything that we wanted it to do. In addition, this software boasted great support for the stores who have their software. Within 3 months of purchasing the software and opening my store, I ran into problems and the support staff was unavailable and unresponsive. This is when I called the sales team at Liberty. I soon learned how multi-faceted the software really was. A novice can use it to do the basics. Each employee who has been trained on the system in our store has made a smooth transition and has learned the required functions quickly and seamlessly. One of the best parts of the Liberty4 Consignment system and the ResaleWorld 'family' is the tech team. I have always gotten great help from Angel, Russ, Alex, Mahaswar and others who have come to my tech call aid. I have always been called back the same day, most of the time within the hour. Problems encountered have been fixed quickly too; in some cases a more lengthy discussion or research is needed and a follow up call has been made. I have come to know and respect the guys greatly. Liberty4 Consignment is an integral part of Worn with LUV and it's not just a software program. I refer to my 'tech team' when I am questioned about how our software works or when there is a problem I can't answer. Liberty4 Consignment and ResaleWorld's tech support team is the best decision a consignment store can make for their business and it's worth every penny!

Comments: It was a very hard choice making the decision as to which Consignment Software System to begin test-driving, as I call it. I tried many of the systems that had been on the market for quite a while. I wasn't impressed... more so, I was frustrated as I knew we had to get a system in place before our busy season began and had to have everyone trained to boot. A friend from Northern Michigan had been using the Liberty4 Consignment system for over 4 years and told us that she really liked it and that it was user friendly. I downloaded the demo and took it for a test drive. Right from the beginning I new that there was a real difference over all of the other programs I tried. The choice was made for me after about 2 days of messing around with the demo. I called Resale World and started the process of getting set up. Now, here is the thing that means the most to me when I make a large technically based purchase, technical support! Resaleworld has the best! When I call and have a question, I have an individual that is giving me their undivided attention and fixing the problem with me. If I can't be verbally walked through the process they will remotely log on and walk me through the process to get me straight and running. The things I call about are not related to product reliability but lack of knowledge on my part as far as how to accomplish certain tasks. Nobody in support treats me like an idiot. They say no question is a dumb question when I apologize for my lack of catching on to something. The truth is that this system rocks! It is easy to use and very functional. There are certain procedures that have multiple ways of accomplishing the same task. It is all about learning which way fits your needs the best. Liberty4 Consignment is the best. Keep up the good work!

Pros: We have been using the Liberty 4 Consignment software from Resaleworld for about 20 years now and initially chose it because of all the integrated inventory and Point of Sale features. They continued to upgrade the software and add many other features such as ReCommerce which has enhanced our product line with an interactive online presence. The tech support is amazing and timely with response to calls and Resaleworld has gone out of their way to create several requests for custom reports. I have recommended Resaleworld to two other stores in Baltimore and I know how pleased they have been. I feel they are committed to providing excellent service and our overall experience with Resaleworld has been fabulous!

Cons: I cant think of anything that I dont like about the software.

Comments: My name is Judy and I am the Co-owner of a very large consignment store (37,500 sq.ft.) and started in business 30 years ago. We originally had software written for us in 1991, which took over a year for a dedicated software developer to write. We discovered it was not y2k compliant. We really liked our program and were sadden that we had to find out what else we could use. We checked out everything available and nothing came even close to fulfilling the needs of our large business except for Resale World's program. It was such a vast improvement from our old program and was well received by every one that worked at the store. There have been several updates and upgrades to the software and every one keeps getting better and better. Our system has never been down (my bank can't even say that) which speaks in part to the reliability of the software. One thing I especially like is how you can custom fit the program into how you want to run your business. Every part is amazingly versatile. Because the program is so rich with features, I have implemented specials and promotions I would have never thought of on my own had they not been designed in the program. We now handle our own gift cards at a great savings over a 3rd party company. We do reward points that our customers love and have responded well to. Whenever we have had questions, I have been pleased at the quick, professional response, the support team has been wonderful. I love this program so much that I have been excited to have owners of other consignment stores and people wanting to start businesses come in to my store for a demonstration. I really like watching their expressions as they can see how this can vastly improve their business and save them time and money.

Pros: We have worked with Liberty4 Consignment for quite some time and find the inventory module to be a breeze. In the past three months, we switched over to a new website and had to make a lot of changes. We had the same support contact throughout the entire process, and I am so thankful for all of the help he gave us. We love our new website and how easy it is to make changes to our front-featured products. We also added a new function that automatically does mark-downs for our items and moves sold items into the appropriate category, and it makes things so much easier for us.

Cons: Not that it is a huge issue, but we do find it a lengthy and slightly complicated process to change the slider images because you have to work with the html code in order to do. We have also encountered a lot of issues with our online orders showing up in our order manager. Things are running a little more smoothly now that we have switched over to the new site, but it still lags a little, and every now and then I have to contact the support line to get them to push the orders through for us.

Recommendations to other buyers: Recommendations I would give to any others using or evaluating software similar to this is make sure that you sit down and take the time to properly learn all of the functions and features of the software. It takes a little bit of time to learn everything and get the hang of it but once you do it can be fairly easy to use.

Comments: When I first decided I was going to open my consignment shop, my main concern was: how am i going to manage all my consigners and records accurately? The bookeeping was a big worry for me as I wasn't sure what I would have to do to make this work. I bought this software (which was no problem to install and I am no technology wiz!) and my business was ready to go instantly! I opened my doors February 1, 2012. Pros: We bought this software four years ago. Prior to Liberty, we were doing everything manually. We logged everything by hand. It was tiresome, laborious, and inefficient. Since we have had the program, we are now efficient, experiencing cost savings, and resolving inventory mishaps. This sophisticated and systematic program has simplified our inventory process and improved our bottom line. We are now embarking upon purchasing additional licenses because our business is expanding because of the product that Resaleworld has created to revolutionize our industry. Resaleworld has outperformed our expectations as a technological vendor in the business sector. Their staff is top-notch. We would be remiss if we did not mention the technical support team that has always provided professional, timely, and courteous support. I would recommend any business who is seeking a cost-cutting program that is user-friendly, highly competitive, and efficient to look to Resaleworld's state of the art products.

Cons: What I like least about the vendor is that they are not located in Michigan.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do your due diligence and learn the industry standards to compare the components in the various software offerings. Also, be certain to talk to shop owners to get as much feedback as possible.

Pros: The product is a time-saving tool when it comes to managing our consignment accounts and inventory. This product has made my life easier. It saves me more than 20 hours a week in what I deemed "Paper work nightmare". This program is a must-have tool for consignment shops. Somehow, I was fortunate to have started my journey in the Resaleworld.com business with extraordinary employees. These employees were beyond what is usual in today's customer service. They demonstrated strong customer service, knowledge, and professionalism, which is why I decided to buy the Liberty4 Consignment software. The product is very useful in our company. Our company is unique from other consignment shops in that we also do estate sales on-premise, and this program helped us to also tag the items and inventory in half the time than we did when we had to write the inventory down and then price. This is a one-step easy inventory program.

Cons: Sometimes I wish there was a training course on the use of the program (there might be, but I have not discovered it yet). There is a big learning curve using this product.

Recommendations to other buyers: Learn all that you can about the product before launching the software. I just jumped into it without any training, and it was what I consider way too steep of a learning curve.

Comments: The Clothes Horse is a busy women's and children's shop, processing hundreds of items each day. Liberty4Consignment software has made our life much easier! We run the program on several dedicated stations: processing incoming, POS, account look up/payout, and my desk. It was an easy decision to go with Liberty4Consignment, as the program is very user friendly. It also allows gives me more information and customizable reports than any other program I have reviewed. I have not regretted that decision at all. Over the years I have enjoyed the many changes and upgrades that have been made to the program. Each one makes my life and that of my employees easier. I have found the tech support department to be top notch. They are helpful, patient, extremely pleasant to deal with, and certainly seem to know their stuff! Equally as important, the response time is downright impressive! I truly enjoy the integrated credit card processing feature. We have less employee errors, faster checkouts for customers, and spend less time reconciling the days activities. I feel the Rewards Program feature has helped increase sales. It was easy to set up, and my customers love that they do not have to carry a special card in their wallet to earn their points. Resaleword has been responsive in requests for more reports to track customer purchases, and these reports help me to track the success of my rewards program, coupons, sales events, as well as identifying my "best" customers. We also offer our customers an opportunity to monitor their accounts online, which they love. Without a doubt, Liberty4 Consignment is THE program you want to use in your business!

Comments: Prior to starting my furniture consignment business I sought guidance from an owner of a similar business located in another state. I knew that I wanted to use a computer based system in my new business because of my tedious experience with written record keeping when I worked in a consignment business back in the 80's. Oliver's recommendation was Liberty 4 Consignment by Resaleworld. As I researched the market, Oliver's choice proved to be very wise. Not only is Liberty a well developed database system with an easy to use interface, it includes thoroughly implemented inventory management tools, comprehensive and flexible point-of-sale system, and a wide range of standard and custom reporting features. I have found that Liberty enables me to be more productive in processing consignments, efficient managing our inventory and more accurate in documenting sales transactions (reporting of sales by consignors, tracking revenues, sales tax, etc'). By using Liberty, my consignors have confidence to trust me to sell their valuable items. Likewise by using Liberty's reCommerce feature, I can reach more customers by offering our inventory on-line. The customer support offered by Resaleworld is the best. They have a large enough development team to have support staff available whenever I needed immediate assistance. They also listen to their customers input. Each new release/update of Liberty includes improved functionality suggested by users. They just keep making it better. While there may be lower cost alternatives, I believe Liberty offers the best value available.

Comments: Klassy Kidz is a kid's clothing consignment shop. We've been open since 2003. Back when I was researching software for our store, I tried most of the products out there and decided Liberty4 Consignment (Liberty 2K back then) was the way I wanted to go. What a surprise later to find out they were practically in our backyard. Liberty4 is robust in its feature set. We use most of what it has to offer: Inventory, Point of Sale, reports and online features. Another big plus for me was the way Liberty integrates with Quickbooks, so almost ALL of my accounting entries are done for me automatically, saving tons of work after hours. Everybody at Resaleworld is always more than happy to help you and the knowledge and integrity of the support staff is second to none. They're extremely customer-oriented, in tune with the ever-changing resale industry and always interested in ways to make the program meet the needs of their customers. The software is extremely easy to setup and use. We have staff that use computers for nothing more than checking email learn the program and become experts in no time flat. I'd have to say the two biggest benefits in using Liberty4 Consignment for our company are time and trust. Time that is saved from a fully integrated Inventory and POS system that does most of the work for you. Trust from our customers because, thanks to Liberty, we can provide them with a consignment experience where they can be confident their items are entered properly and they receive all they are due from consigning their items with us. We consider Liberty and Resaleworld.com a valuable part of our business and staff.

Comments: Well, if anyone has done what I have, you probably downloaded many different systems to take a test drive on the demos of the other systems. After hours of insanely wasted time.........demo after demo you finally lapse into a confused software demo coma.

Then the magical day came when I found Liberty4 Consignment software and took the test drive. This was not only the simplest and most user friendly software program I had tried, the customer service prior to making my choice was awesome and professional. There wasn't a question that didn't get answered. Other things I never thought of were brought to my attention to help me make my choice. It really was a no brainer.

The Liberty4 System runs like Windows. You can have multiple pages open at once and not have to close out of an account to proceed with another task. The system is seamless. There my be others that make the claim to have started the Consignment software industry.....but that's where the stayed. I know....I test drove the AKA leaders in the industry. Don't waste your time.....trust me, your time in valuable and can't be made up. Liberty4 Consignment is the leader!!

Ordering products such as tags, checks and other items is a pleasure.

In the rare occasion that I have needed customer support, I have found the team to have awesome technical skills and are personable as well. Within a few minutes of calling support there is a tech getting back to me. And when necessary they can remotely log in via Team Viewer and take care of what needs to be done. Great, Great, Great!!!!!

Comments: Lovely Lady Bugs (LLB) is a children's consignment boutique. In addition to consignment, we also have major retail vendors (and their inventory) in our system. LLB was already using Liberty4 when I purchased the business. I did look into 2 other software programs, but when I came to learn all of Liberty4's capabilities, I knew the search was futile. Since I took over the business last summer, I have hired 5 new employees and taught them the software myself. It is very user-friendly. Liberty4 is complex, in that is has a multitude of functions. However, not all employees need to know how to handle absolutely everything. So for what my employees need to know, it's simple and very understandable. As the owner of the store, I had to learn a lot of the aspects of the software. After all, a database-driven software program is only as useful as the information you put in it. We have a tag/support plan, and it's been invaluable. I can call tech support anytime and know that I'll get a return phone call, usually within the hour. I have yet to ask them a question that they can't explain and teach me, in an easy-to-understand manner. Better yet, every tech support person I talked to was extremely nice and respectable, even personable, on the phone. I have always received the help I needed and a solution to my issues. My opinion is that Liberty4 is the end-all solution to your resale/thrift/consignment software needs. You may start off with a different, cheaper solution from somewhere else, but it'll only get you started. Eventually you'll need it to do something it can't... something that only Liberty4 can!

Comments: We are a multi-user consignment and resale operation with 7 active Liberty Cloud users. We converted to Liberty Cloud from our own server and have very happy with the transition. The decision was initially price-based, as Liberty Cloud allowed us to eliminate server costs, remote access licensing, and system administration costs. The biggest benefits, however, have been realized via improved performance and support. We have found printing and reporting, in particular, to work much better on the cloud service vs. on our own server. Service and up-time have been excellent. Since subscribing to Liberty Cloud, we have had only one minor access issue and it was resolved by Liberty Tech Support within 10 minutes, at about 10 AM on a Sunday morning. Data security is another key benefit that we did not fully appreciate until after we subscribed. We have found that the Liberty support team takes the issue of data security as seriously as we do, and provides substantially better security and protections than our previous configurations. The only key improvement we would like to see is in the area of customized reporting. The canned reports are useful and meet most of our reporting needs, however advanced reporting is not completely intuitive. Overall, we give the service top ratings mainly for support and overall quality/integrity. While no consignment application meets 100% of the functionality requirements of a given operation, our view is that Liberty is the best option on the market, particularly for stores with multiple users, and/or multiple locations.

This software is perfect for my business: it is flexible enough to suit our needs as a collective!

Comments: I feel like my opinion of this product is unfair because I am unable to determine how much of my sub-par experience has to do with having old hard/soft-ware. I have had a lot of difficulties. I appreciate the product though! There have been times when people have gone above and beyond to help get things working for me. There have been other times when tech. support technicians have been so condiscending and disrespectful to me that I've almost hung up in tears of frustration. My experience with Liberty/Resaleword is very mixed; however, I'm fairly committed to doing what it takes on my end to try and make my experience better. I'm going to start with updating things so I can make a fair evaluation.

Pros: The website that allows consignors to access their account info. is really nice. I feel like that's a valuable feature both for us as well as the consignor!

Cons: I feel like the area where you run reports is overly and unnecessarily complicated. I wish I had better experiences with tech. support. It would be nice to access tech. support quicker - although I understand the dilemma from the company's perspective.

This software moves fast and can store a lot of data without feeling sluggish. I have owned three consignment stores for almost 11 years. When I opened the first store I bought the cheapest software option I could find. It was a nightmare. When I moved to Liberty I was amazed at the difference.

Entering inventory, tracking consignment sales, printing tags, running reports of your best consignors, etc. etc. is so easy and all built in. The point of sale is very customizable with coupons, receipt options, built in reward plan for customers, etc.

They even have a built-in system for listing items on your own eCommerce website (provided by them!) and on eBay.

You have so many options that you will discover (as I have) as you use the software and will be amazed by all the things this software can do for you and your business.

Cons:

It is expensive. It's expensive up front and it's expensive for support. However, you are investing in the future of your business and the extra cost will save you in the long run when your software can automate things for you and will grow with your business.

Some of the staff are amazing (Angel!) but others can be short with you because of the volume of tech calls they get. They also don't always know the answers to your questions because of the complicated nature of the software.

Overall, Liberty is a great program for a consignment business. I do highly recommend it!

Pros: My favorite part of the Liberty4 Consignment software is the time it has saved from doing everything in writing. I, believe it or not, was using a dos program that I had to figure out my consignors 40 percent on each item that was sold every day. Then I had to enter it and the item into their files. This was at least a 45 minute process at the end of each day.

Cons: I honestly have only one complaint about the systems that I purchased. There are so many things the software offers, and i am only touching the surface so far. That is my fault not theirs.

Recommendations to other buyers: With Liberty4 Consignment, everything under the sun comes in this (i.e. tracking inventory, intake, donations, etc.). Watch as many videos as you can to learn as much as you can. I highly recommend purchasing the tag plan, and support plan. You get all the updates and support you are going to need. When the systems and software arrived, I overwhelmed myself by taking everything out thinking I could do it all by myself. I finally called support and within a short time, they had me and the systems running like they should. Don't be afraid to call them. I think I called everyday for a few weeks. Now it's probably been a couple of months since I have needed help, but I know when I do they are there for me anytime.

Comments: As a furniture consignment store owner in a tourist area, we often have people asking how we got started. They want to know what we did, because they may want to go into a similar business in their hometown. I tell them what I learned by asking a store owner in another town before we got started. Simply put, Liberty is the best resale/consignment software! What makes it the best is not all the features (unbelievable capability) or the user/ower's ability to customize to his/her store's unique operating characteristics. What makes Liberty the best is the technical support. Every time I've had a question or a problem (even when I caused the problem) I have received very prompt and knowledgable support. The techs are all very efficient at diagnosing the problems and they can expertly correct the programming or update software as needed. What's more, the tech's are friendly and helpful. They are coaches and treat your business as if it were their own. By the way, I mention techs...plural. Having multiple skilled techs means owners/users get very prompt support...no waiting for "the" tech to get done with another client. Pros: I just bought a Consignment Store that had had Liberty Software for over 20 years. I needed to upgrade the system, and that meant new computer and software. I was in tears because I was scared of this whole process. I got their receptionist who passed me on to their support tech; talk about a godsend. His expertise, knowledge, and soft spoken voice of calm helped in the process. Since I am not computer savvy like the young ones, he explained the tutorials and explained with patience all the new features of the program. He did not rush me. He was the most patient young man.

Cons: What I like least about Liberty is that you need less complicated software for just the basic needs of a consigner (small business). I know that most of the features in the software will not be used by me at least.

Recommendations to other buyers: Learn and read the tutorials. For me, it is just too much information on software that will never be used by a start-up or new owner who is a one and only employee.

Comments: I can not rave enough about Liberty4 and Resaleworld! Great product and great staff. I opened The Loft Consignment 3 years ago and my shop has taken off quickly. In three years we have accumulated almost 2,500 consignors! Liberty4 has allowed this to happen without a hitch. We have been able to adjust to the volume we are getting into the shop because we added the Liberty4 mobile license for iPad inventory entry and are about to add the network license to add another computer POS.

I have told many potential new shop owners Resaleworld is the backbone of my business and the main reason my store is a success. The amount of time I save on paperwork is invaluable. I can pull any report in a matter of seconds. For instance, I had to do sales tax yesterday I pulled a quarterly report and was finished in five minutes. Not only does Resaleworld have an amazing product the support team is great. If I call with a question (which is rare because it is so user friendly) I receive a prompt call back with an easy solution!

Even my consignors are impressed. I give them a proffessional looking inventory list and can tell them in a matter of seconds how much I owe them.

Comments: Our store opened two years ago, and we have used Liberty 4 continuously with great success. The software has handled all of our donations and consignments with ease, and we have experienced very few problems. Our smooth operation has been totally enhanced by the Technical Support staff at Resaleworld.com. I am retired, and I can say that in all my years of working with hardware and software companies I have never had a better experience with Technical Support. When we place a call for assistance, on average, we receive a call back within 15 minutes. Every person on the staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, competent, and patient. No matter what level of problem we may have - from the simplest to the hardest - they take the necessary time to completely walk us through the problem and make 100% sure that we understand. We have frequent assistance from their team, and they couldn't be more helpful. Not only do they solve the problem at hand, but they also make other suggestions for improvements in our operation. We rely heavily on their knowledge and expertise. They always make us feel like we are the only customer they service. Liberty 4 and the Resaleworld.com staff are the tops!

This software has so much going for it. We have just started, and it is A++

Comments: The complexity of running a CO-OP with 23 members meant we needed suitable software to accommodate several scenarios, and Liberty 4 is easily up to the task. Demo the program, and you will see that it can handle whatever you need in a POS system.

Pros: The flexibility of this program is such that, for our CO-OP, with 23 individual businesses under one roof, we can keep track of everything. With a range of skill sets among our members, everyone finds it easy to use. The prompts are numerous, and the help menu is superb. Support is excellent, they go above and beyond expectations.

Cons: I can't think of a single con. I strongly recommend this product. Take the time to configure it for your particular use, and explore the options.

Comments: I wrote a review a year ago about how great this company is and how easy this software is to use. I really wanted to take the time to write again because they deserve it. I own three very high volume consignment stores and have been in business for 23 years. I could not be more grateful for all their help and support through the years. I recently purchased another POS workstation, with new printers and scanners from Liberty4. They went above and beyond to make everything work efficiently with my existing system. I have contracts in all my locations and it is well worth the investment. If I open another location I would not hesitate to purchase all my hardware with them. I know all the tech's names, and they are all wonderful and easy to work with. The sales department is helpful and gets everything, including my tags, out immediately. I even got a call when my POS workstation was on the way and was urged to call upon receiving it for any help I might need in setting it up. I plugged it in and that's all. Everything was already done for me. I love these guys and give them much credit for our success.People should know when a company is as wonderful as Liberty4. Like I said, they really deserve it!

Comments: We just opened our consignment store on September 24 and we have not had any problems with our Liberty software. We started our search for software a few months ago and after looking at several it was clear that Liberty offered so many features and options, although it was more expensive. We feel we made the right decision and the price is certainly worth it. I am a senior and don't have extensive computer experience but I was the only person available to do the software set-up. I can honestly say that the instructions are very clear and it is certainly intuitive. So far, everything that we have wanted to do with the system we have been able to institute. I have NEVER had a better experience than with the Liberty Technical Support personnel. I have had many occasions to call them for basic assistance and I have received a return call within 15 - 30 minutes (or less) in most instances. The personnel are so very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and take whatever time is necessary to answer our questions. There has no occasion where a question has not been answered to our satisfaction. Our overall experience with the Liberty Software and Resale World is nothing less than OUTSTANDING!

Pros: My mother and father, who both own Consigned Designs by Ellen, have been working with Resale World for quite some time now. Without this product and the technical help that has been provided, we simply would not be able to do the daily business we do with such ease and confidence. The best thing about Resale World has been not only the simplicity of the product they offer but the constant access to techs who have never failed to be there for us or our business.

Cons: I can honestly say the only problem I ever have is when I am adding items to our storefront, the picture loading takes a bit of time, but that obviously is a problem with our own computer processor and not an issue with RW.

Recommendations to other buyers: Anyone looking to run, own, manage, or design a consignment business, would truly be missing out without the Resale World package. I could not imagine running, or operating our business without this product or the technical one on one help we receive.

Comments: -consignors want to be able to use their store credit to purchase items in our online store over the internet.

-would like to see updates that include email automations for when items in accounts are expiring

-more space for words in headers/footers & all areas custom language can be added to - for instance; there is so little room to convey policy details on email item lists.

-would like to see a streamlined (mini) accounts for clients who are just shoppers, where we can store their purchase history and add their email to a marketing subscriber list

-There are all sorts of other moments I have asked myself "why can't I run this sort of report, why doesn't the system do that, etc. - not sure if there is already the capability for some of the things I think of, and I just don't know how to perform the function or if the capability is not part of the program.

-I will try to compile notes on what these things I wish I could do in L4C are and check back in with tech support to see if they already can be done or are something you are thinking of adding.

Pros: The interface and backend of this new store front is so easy for the common person to use. Making changes is a snap, adding products is a snap, and if you get stuck, Resaleworld is there to help. Angel designed my site, my logo, and my colors; it's professional and clean. Love it! My shoppers like how easy it is to use; my consignors love that they can track their items and see their money, and I like that everyone is happy. I have been with Resaleworld since 2009; their product does what it says it will, and the support team is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Cons: That when I call, I have to leave a message and can't reach a live person. They do call back pretty quickly, but I hate not being able to reach a live person when calling in.

Recommendations to other buyers: I never like change, but this change was good. Make the move to ReCommerce 3; it's that good!

Comments: I have been working with Resaleworld for 3 years now. I had spent a good deal of time at another consignment shop that used this software. I am now at a new position and I am excited to say that I will again be working with Liberty4 Consignment. I can't say enough about everyone, especially Jennifer who went the extra mile to get me on track with purchasing the support program. When I was at the other position all the sub categories were set up already and I could just zoomed through my listings at a very fast pace. Now that I am at the new position I am starting out at square one. I know what the program can do but it helps to have a little direction to make sure it is set up as efficiently as possible. The customer support at Liberty4 Consignment is wonderful! Jeff Chris and all the other people I have received direction from have been prompt and very helpful. Resaleworld has quite a team with Jennifer and Sarah who provide great service! I look forward to going to St. Louis to further enhance my knowledge of this wonderful system. Comments: There is a God, His name is Mahashwar! After researching e-commerce site developers and services, I came to Resaleworld with my website concept, which demanded a look and feel I was unsure they could accommodate - only because their example sites were nothing like the ultra modern, clean, and slick site I wanted. Boy, did Mahashwar hit it out of the park!! His determination to make it happen, made it happen! I can barely sleep at night I am so excited over this website. It's look, ease of use, and functionality - it really is a dream come true! And to know that if I need help Resaleworld's savvy, knowledgeable, and professional staff has my back - this is better than a dream, more like a fantasy! The best part is that I learned everything I want and need to know in order to make simple changes to my website when needed - announce sales, change store hours, update service menus. And again, if I run into a snag, Resaleworld techs are there to help! I <3 Resaleworld and I will scream it from rooftops, I am so happy with them!!

Comments: We have been using Liberty for 4 years and found it to be a very comprehensive software. It has provided many reports that we never dreamed we would get. Tracking consignors information and inventory is so easy. We have several consignment stores in our area and our consignors frequently tell us they greatly appreciate all the information regarding their accounts that the other stores do not provide. Updates come on a regular basis and seem to be the result of customers like us asking for additional information or corrections. Technical Support and Customer Service are better than any we have ever experienced. Phone calls are answered in a very timely manner - often times within an hour. The technical staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We have never experienced a problem that they have not been able to resolve with one phone call. We have the very highest recommendation for Resale World and the Liberty 4 software!

Pros: This software is so simple to use and has made a huge difference in our business. It is not very hard to learn and is easy to teach to employees. Having all the preset reports to run is very helpful for keeping track of inventory and sales. The people at Liberty are awesome to work with, super-friendly, and are always very helpful when we have to call in. They just finished doing a fantastic job designing our custom website that integrates their consignment software, which we expect to have a great impact on our business.

Cons: I really don't have any major problems. Whenever I have a question or something I can't get to work right, a call to Liberty gets it fixed very quickly.

Comments: I have been with Liberty for many many years. I have three stores and call them all the time, but I never feel like I am a bother. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. Even taking my call after hours when I had an emergency. The Software is easy to use and there is also a great report tab that is very useful. You can ask anything and get an answer. I ordered the entire system when I replaced all my computers in one of our locations. Everything came installed and color-coded for easy setup, I actually did it myself. This was five workstations and a server with all the accessories. Over the years, Liberty has kept up with all the newest technology. My Consignors can check the balance on their accounts online and they love the store credit discount option. I would highly recommend Liberty4Consignment. The staff is so friendly and so helpful. I really think they should be the mold for all businesses and how great customer service is really done.

Comments: I have been extremely happy with my Liberty 4 Consignment purchase! This was my first resale company and I had no prior experience working with this type of program. It was easy to understand and learn. I also used the technical support program to help me along the way. I would definitely recommend the technical support team because I could not have learned the software as fast without the help of experts that new the software. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to decide on what software to choose. It has helped my business succeed and was worth every penny. My only complaint is the technical support process. Sometimes it takes hours for a representative to call you back and solve your problem. If you are paying for a service, there should be a number you can call to get a person live immediately during business hours. The way the process goes now, is you have to wait for someone to call you back. I think this needs to change.

Comments: I have been running this for 3 months now, and can't wait to get to where all of our inventory is in Liberty4!

Pros: It will boost your stores income in many ways. It is a time saver and a very accurate system for figuring out exactly where you are at any given moment.

Cons: It has so much untapped potential, with no way for me to learn without traveling far. I wish there was a version just for furniture consignment with all the related categories. I also wish the Wish List feature could be more detailed and automatic.

Comments: I own a Ladies Consignment Boutique and we were ready to add another client computer. Initially we were using another consignment solution but it could not handle adding another client without consistent problems. We were looking for a solution as well as more functionality with reporting and customization capabilities. We converted our system to Liberty4 Consignment in September of 2010. The conversion went pretty smoothly. We had a few hiccups that Resaleworld fixed quickly. The software is easy to learn and I would recommend learning all that it has to offer, such as adding a pricing guide to the input screen and the various reports that are available. The support is great and prompt when returning phone calls. The team is friendly and puts technical terms in everyday language while resolving issues or answering questions. We are happy with the software and have only one regret - we wish we would have purchased this system first!
