This was our first year using this platform and I had to essentially learn as I went. The platform is strait forward and intuitive. I have been incredibly surprised at the ease of use during our first season.

Pros

The customer service is top-notch. The chat is concise and personal and answers my question in detail, saving me a ton of time.

Cons

PDF Uploads come in blacked out, which is frustrating for our users. If they had the ability to edit a PDF document (Little League Medical Release form) and upload without having to print/scan or take a picture, that would be ideal.

Wonderful! Initial setup and continuing support is helpful but support content is super educational.

Pros

I like the simplicity of using templated websites as a launching point to presenting youth sports web pages.

Cons

Small dislike for inability to edit many elements of the home pages for sites. Wish I could use some code in a content block on the home page.

I have been using for years and am satisfied. I have been asked multiple times to switch , but it does the job for me.

Pros

It gives you everything you need to run a league. Communications, registration and scheduling are all included.

Cons

The scheduler could be more robust. It could be updated to be more flexible. It also needs a way to live draft teams.

Pros

I have helped 3 different leagues (soccer, baseball, and m basketball) migrate to stacked sports. Prior the leagues either were paper registrations, or were other competitors. Stacked sports makes it easy to have consistent ways to communicate with parents, you don’t have to worry about data entry or reading people’s hand writing. It allows for verification of players DOB as well as coach background check approvals )or denials). Makes it super simple to do reports on players and teams as well as communicate to league.

Cons

Sometimes when using IOS safari browser parents have a difficult time seeing what they are missing to complete the registration.

Positive. The season has not begun yet but as of now, everything has been working smoothly and Sports Connect is certainly one of the contributing factors.

Pros

The best part about Sports Connect is that it's fully integrated. From payment processing to team management, to scheduling and website management - everything works together all in one place. It doesn't get easier! Even GameChanger is integrated!! That is a huge bonus!!!

Cons

I would say, as a brand new user, I wouldn't mind a direct line to talk to someone or live chat with someone when troubleshooting an issue. I'd like to be able to walk it through with an expert because some of what I am trying to do seems very specific to our league and may be unique. Is it even possible? Hard to know unless we can hash it out one-to-one.

Overall, this has been the BEST decision my league has made with regard to sports software management. I have shared our experience with other leagues in my network and encouraged them to sign up with Sports Connect as well! I'd do it again and again!

Pros

Customer service is an actual person who answers the phone after the prompt and assists you fully until your issue or concern is satisfied and a solution is found. You are not limited to a time frame like other sports management services we used in the past. The website is user friendly to set up, manage and browse. Registration has so many options for several different situations. Sports Connect is integrated with GameChanger too!

Cons

I have two separate organizations that I need to interact with on a daily basis and the system allows me to log in to only one platform at a time. I wish I could simply toggle between the two without being kicked out of one when I log in to the other.

From setup, to development, and deployment all processes were easy and straightforward. At times, when shriner support was needed the call/emails were answered in a timely manner and the resources provided answered the questions the first time.

Pros

Sports connect ease of use from building program website to team management, payments, and registration are very user friendly and give the end user an engaging but simple process.

Cons

I would like to see development of adding the ability to assign the same registrant to multiple teams in a division. This has been the only pain point within the application.

Pros

I love how easy is to keep track of all the important things - registration, uniforms, payments, discounts, etc. Great to have everything all in one! Even have a merchant store! That's amazing!

Cons

I don't like how you can't make the registration page or other pages cute. It's just very basic. It still does the job though. I basically design things, take a screen shot, and then upload the cuter versions unto the site to make it cute :)

### "Succeeds On The Basics But Leaves Me Wanting More"

Overall Sports Connect gets the job done. It feels like I'm using a dated platform that gets small, infrequent updates, but it does a good job with its core competencies.

Pros

Registration is probably the strongest aspect of this platform. Setting up new seasons and managing registrations as they come in works very well. There are some opportunities for improvement, but there are not any 'soft lock' glitches that cannot be worked around.

Cons

I have shared a lot of feedback with the team. Wait list activations cause a problem since they allow a child to be placed on a team without payment, which is different than the typical registration process and results in missed payments (or increased collections efforts at best). Sharing reports works, but you cannot share by security role, and the users don't have a way to access their shared reports unless they save the link. The front end is VERY dated and has a way of sanitizing the HTML that results in very weird results, sometimes that seem impossible to work around. Uploading pictures has a different size limit for each upload input box, and I constantly have to use 3rd party software to compress images just to get them to go onto the site. That's just to name a few.

Once we were able to get our system up and going it has been great. We use Sports Connect for 3 different sports organizations and the parents are becoming very familiar with how the system works.

Pros

Sports Connect has been a huge asset to our league. Making the roles of league administrator, coaches and parents much easier. Has so many great features.

Cons

At times, we have found it hard to correct mistakes. Would like to see where a visiting team could enter a score and not have just the home team.

### "A lot of potential, but sometimes quirky"

An improvement from what we had. However, I (we) had to spend a lot of time answering questions for the parents and making sure they registered properly. In many cases we had to walk them through the registration process.

Pros

Having knowledgeable people to help navigate the software and explain what needs to be done. We had one person.with Sports Connect who was quite helpful. She answered emails in a straightforward and timely fashion.

Cons

Did not like the docket or ticket procedure for solving problems or answering questions. I did Like having ONe or Two people who are familiar with us - a LL Challenger BB program. The boundaries set up for Tri- County Challenger LL were not correct. When parents registered their child they oftentimes received message telling them they were outside of the boundaries when, in fact, they were inside the boundaries. Our boundaries include all of Lee, all of Hendry, and a portion of Collier County . While I understand the need for specific boundaries for regular LL, it should not be an issue for Challenger Baseball athletes.

Difficult to schedule tournaments. Difficult to produce schedules with both weekday and weekend games.
