Overall my experience has been solid but not standout. We use Docusign for customer onboarding, integrated with Workato webhooks, and it does what we need, signing is easy, status tracking is clear, and the integration is stable. The sticking point is value for money: the integration is pricier than I'd like, and I'm hopeful there's a more economical alternative for this kind of automated signing workflow. It's a dependable tool that gets the job done, which lands it squarely at average for us.

Pros

The signing experience is genuinely easy. Documents are simple to review and sign, the workflow is guided, and there's essentially no learning curve for signers. Tracking and reporting are a real strength, it's easy to see document status, follow the audit trail, and know exactly where a document sits in the process. On the technical side, the integration surface is solid: we connect it to our onboarding flow via Workato webhooks, and it works reliably day to day.

Cons

The main drawback is cost. The integration layer in particular is expensive relative to the value, and for a workflow that's essentially "send document, capture signature, fire a webhook," the pricing feels steep. It does the job, but I'd like to see a more cost-effective option for this kind of integration-driven use. Outside of that, it's a capable but fairly standard e-signature tool, nothing that pushes it above average.

For dealership paperwork tied to lender requirements, DocuSign has done exactly what it needs to do. It’s reliable, customers generally trust it since it’s a recognized name, and it has cut down on paper and printing costs in a real way over time. The pricing and occasional customer hand holding are the main downsides but for keeping financing paperwork moving quickly and staying in line with what my lenders want it’s been worth keeping around. I’d recommend it to another dealership as long as they go in expecting to spend a little time helping less tech savvy customers through the signing process.

Pros

I run a used car dealership and started using DocuSign because a few of my lenders actually require or prefer it for signing off on paperwork instead of dealing with paper copies. It has genuinely cut down on how much printing and filing I have to do, which adds up fast when you’re pushing through deals every week. Customers can sign from their phone which speeds things up a lot, especially when someone is finalizing financing from home before coming in to pick up the vehicle. It also keeps a clean digital trail of everything signed, so if a lender or customer ever needs a copy later I’m not digging through a filing cabinet trying to find it. Setup on my end was simple enough that I didn’t need any real training to start sending documents out.

Cons

Cost is the main thing that bugs me since the plans scale up quickly if you need more advanced features or higher volume and for a smaller dealership that starts to feel like a lot for something that’s essentially replacing a stack of paper. Some older or less tech comfortable customers struggle with the signing process on their end so I end up walking them through it over the phone which kind of defeats the purpose of saving time. Every once in a while a document template needs tweaking and the interface for that isn’t as intuitive as the rest of the platform, so it takes longer than it should to get a form set up exactly right.

I love Docusign! At my current place of employment, they weren’t integrating this software and now everybody in the company is it over 12 different states

Pros

The best thing about Docusign is the ease of use! In a past life I sold cars, I can’t begin to tell you how easy this made signing a customer virtually.

Cons

I really don’t have anything bad to say, if I had to choose one thing though, i would pick the pricing. It’s a little steep. It’s so worth it though.

Overall, my experience with Docusign has been positive. I've been using it regularly to streamline document signing processes, and it's made a significant impact on our team's productivity. The interface is user-friendly, and the e-signature features work seamlessly, but occasional glitches have prevented it from being a perfect solution.

Pros

I've been pretty solid with Docusign for handling our UK-based team's contract approvals. The template library's extensive and works well enough for most use cases. We've rolled it out to the team after a few weeks and it's been a game-changer for our business.

Cons

One thing I dislike is the lack of a more intuitive user interface for our non-tech-savvy team members. Took a bit to figure out, and it's kind of annoying that we can't customize the layout as much as I'd like. Still, it's not a huge deal for our needs.

Overall Docusign has been a great option at my workplace for documents that need to be signed by multiple people.

Pros

Docusign provides an easy paperless way of signing documents. It also allows users to timestamp their signature so that the date and time are recorded along with the signature or initials. Additionally, when multiple signatures are needed, Docusign simplifies this procedure by automatically sending the document to the next person whose signature is needed. This helps to avoid documents getting lost in the shuffle or forgotten about.

Cons

I prefer when people use a digital copy of their actual signature rather than just their name typed out; I feel that the typed name could be more easily used fraudulently.

Overall a reliable tool that does the core job well. It’s become the default for anything that needs a signature in our workflow . Would recommend for teams that send documents regularly and need a proper audit trail.

Pros

I use it for carrier agreements and vendor docs, and the templates save me a ton of time since I’m sending similar paperwork over and over. The audit trail is solid — I can always see who signed, when, and from where, which matters when you need proof. It’s value for money tool.

Cons

I would say the interface can feel a bit clunky when you’re building more complex workflows with multiple signers and routing. Occasionally had templates not save the way I set them up.

My overall experience has been very positive. It has made signing and sending documents quick, convenient and much more efficient. We can now send forms instantly as opposed to sending documents out through mail which can take days, or waiting for someone to pick up the forms and driving them all the way out to a destination and waiting for them to get back to you.

Pros

Docusign has made it easy to send documents for signatures, especially since we don't have an office where all our our staff meets, its so crucial to have an effective and reliable way of getting them to sign important documents. It also allows for us to store the signed documents easily and have them available at ant time to track past forms thats have been signed by both employees and clients.

Cons

What I least liked is that at the beginning when you are getting familiar with the program it can seem a bit confusing. I wish the process was a little bit more simplified, so it can be learned quickly. But once you get familiar, air with it and you use it often, then it becomes easy to use.
