Pros: I love that once I've created the field on page 1, I can copy & paste the same fields to every page. It saves so much time with long docs that require signatures on each page.

Comments: They don't have very many different signature styles to choose from, but honestly that doesn't matter to me as long as the paperwork goes through

Pros: I absolutely love not having to have any papers passed through my office or stored anywhere. Docusign has made dealing with paperwork much less of a hassle.

Pros: The DocuSign concept is really great. It allows us to collect signatures and other form based information on official documents. It collects forms into an Envelope concept and allows brokering of signatures in specific order. It is especially helpful in expediting contract revisions. I especially appreciate the ability to collect initials, signatures, dates, and free text. The copy/paste feature when laying out signature fields is nice, which places fields in the same location on the next page.

Cons: The template document feature is not robust enough for my needs. It would be better if a template could be defined as an arranged set of fields required that can be laid out on a different document background. Currently a template is only considered a base PDF to start with. Also, defining multiple signatures for a single account is buried within the interface and is not easy to get to. The user interface could be given an overhaul to make more intuitive. There is a separate admin portal that confuses things for me even more.

Pros: I absolutely LOVE this! This has completely changed how we get contracts signed. I can do the contracts in the office, then send them to my sales team to sign and once they sign, it goes straight to the customer to put their information in and sign. Once everyone has signed, everybody gets a signed copy delivered automatically.

Cons: The only thing that I would consider a con is that when you get ready to send contracts off to be signed, I have to highlight the areas that need to be filled in and signed every time, even though it is the same contract but with different names and addresses. I just wish it had a memory feature.

Pros: There's not much here that I don't like, but the thing I love about this is that if you can load up a PDF, you can set the fields to be signed and get paperwork done FAST. An absolute MUST for sales people.

Cons: It took a little while to learn how to set up documents and make edits, but after you get past the learning curve, it's pretty much the easiest thing ever.

Pros: I love the ability to quick attach the document and docusign automatically detects it. The ability to have a customer sign off on a proposal greatly decreases turn around time and increases the close rate.

Cons: A lot of the older generation are very hesitant to sign anything over the internet. Sometimes convincing them that Docusign is a safe and secure program can be tricky.

Pros: I love that their API allows me to connect a couple other softwares (Parsey, Infusionsoft) to dynamically create and send out agreements to my customers.

Cons: They change up their pricing/availability of features on specific plans practically on a quarterly basis. I find it very inconsistent and untrustworthy.

Comments: Great piece of software for quickly signing documents and distributing them efficently.

Pros: I like how DocuSign saves users so much time and money by eliminating the need to print out, sign, scan and sometimes mail out documents.

Cons: I being someone who uses different kinds of software throughout the day, I sometimes just wish that there was more integration between DocuSign and many other platforms. I know currently DocuSign does play nice with Procore, so that is a major plus in my books.

Pros: -DocuSign has robust features and strong security + good uptime -It is easy to add new users to the platform -It makes signing very simple for the recipient

Cons: -Some of the features are confusing. There are so many features built in that it can be non-intuitive at times. It is confusing to learn the DocuSign terms (envelope, template, etc), and on occasion the form building process has felt tedious.

Pros: Getting signatures used to be an absolute pain and would take weeks to process. Being able to get signatures digitally without having to send papers all over the place is such a big improvement. What used to take weeks now takes at most a couple of day. It is very easy to use and we love it!

Cons: I haven't had any issues at all. I wasn't involved in setting this up so I can't speak to that. The only negative I have had is once someone signed in the wrong place and since Docusign is imbedded in our project management system, starting over was a little cumbersome, but that was due to the project management software and not Docusign.

Overall: Simplified the signature process tremendously.

Pros: Prior to docusign, I would email clients a pdf waiver, they'd have to do the old fashioned print, sign, scan and email back to me. Now with docusign, I have all of my waiver templates ready and directly send them to clients for virtual signature- much more streamline!

Cons: With the current lower cost plan I'm on, there is not an option to email clients a direct link to a specific document (rather, I have to log in to docusign, pull up the document and input the client email address). Not a big deal, but this means my client gets an extra email rather than just 1 email from me with my instructions plus a link to our waiver. I wish the link option was available in the lower tiered plans. Other than that, it's been a great experience using docusign.

Overall: Streamlined workflow for myself as well as a simpler process for my clients to sign documents.

Pros: I like this product mainly because I can electronically sign and return a project for approval without having to wait for it in the mail or without having to print and sign and then scan and return or FAX. This is terrific!

Cons: If I could say anything negative about this software program, it would only be that it takes a few minutes to complete. However, this beats days.

Pros: I love how easy this is to send out, get a signature, and get back. It's very easy from a user standpoint to accept a signature and then click to sign, and on receiving end is also seamless.

Cons: Wish it was easier to view or sign on certain devices, but that doesn't have as much to do with the software as it does the device.

Cons: I really have no complaints about this software. I suppose it would be nice to make a feature to add your own signature, which you can draw -- that way, it customizes your signing to yourself.

Pros: For E-signatures to be legally valid, there are many components that need to be programmed in. We initially attempted to build our own validation software. Upon researching the topic, we realized that the validation requirements are so robust that an in-house solution was impractical. As such, we implemented DocuSign whjch has allowed us to quickly collect the signatures we need to run our business. Allowed us to eliminate the cumbersome process of printing, signing, scanning, and emailing documents. A process which, more often than not, would take days rather than minutes.

Cons: DocuSign is quite pricey and has led us to begin searching for more reasonably priced alternatives.

Pros: DocsGen allows us to send and receive important / required documents quickly. We are able to place requirements on the receiver and leave the items in their hands without having to personally track each item sent. It also allows us to download all necessary documents into our system upon completion. It also gives us a safe and secure place to send and receive personal and legal information.

Cons: Say you go through your document and place all the initial and signature areas, then as you¿re going through you notice that one is missing. There¿s no way to edit or fix it before sending it on to the client

Overall: I can work from almost anywhere now and get signatures quickly. Even with no training, I easily figured out how to use most of the features and love having pre-made templates for different scenarios.

Comments: DocuSign is an electronic signature application that enables people to send, sign, and approve documents, materials, and transactions from anywhere and anytime using any device. This revolutionary platform is now the standard of electronic signature in the business world.

Pros: My company transitioned to paperless for all of our hiring needs. Since we transitioned we started using DocuSign for signing documents. The software makes it so easy to obtain signatures, there is no more need to print out forms and manually sign, then scan in. This solution gives you the ability to make any custom fields and change them in an instant. The Templating tool is also incredibly helpful since we often duplicate forms, we can now just plug in the information once and it does the rest for us, very helpful on long contracts. Other users don't need an account to sign which is convenient for our clients, and they automatically get a copy of the completed document, making compliance easy. Highly recommend if you need a secure way to e-sign!

Cons: I do not see any strong disadvantages of the product, but there is a range of substitutional products that can do the same functions at a better cost.

Pros: Electronic signatures have helped us a ton in saving time, and reducing company risk. A few items that we use the most are: templates (ability to use a standard document and add anchor text that positions signature lines accordingly; in addition to auto creating routing orders), the Box API, and document status reports.

Cons: There is very little to complain about. From our experience there are more features than we use. The only challenge we have had is having the documents validate their signature authority from time to time (though this is mostly user error).

Pros: This easily allows us to sign and renew contracts and eliminates the paper waste we were previously generating. I also love having an automatic digital copy of all the contracts signed and the instant notification of actions made to the documents.

Pros: Before, tracking every signature and every piece of paper to hold our employees accountable was incredibly difficult. Scanning in a file, storing said file, being able to retrieve it when needed were all concerns that this software has eliminated.

Cons: Wish it was easier for people to understand how to add their own signature instead of using the default "I agree that this is my signature"

Overall: Easy storage of all sign documentation, ease of sending said documentation to users for signatures, ability to add new rules and regulations that are in need of having signatures for confirmation.

Pros: It's a trusted brand for both us and our clients, that alone makes signing e-contracts easier. It's so simple to upload and input signature fields and saves a us a lot of time by sending to multiple people.

Cons: I wish there was an option to edit in Docusign for simple contract amendments. Currently to make edits I have to take the document into another program, then re-upload in Docusign.

Overall: A simple and professional way to send and receive contracts requiring an electronic signature.

Pros: Setting up and loading a document for signing is very easy. Setting up tags for a document is intuitive. A person can sign on just about any device and with a connection.

The ability to audit the signature and storage and retrieval of the documents is fantatic as a person does not need to store all of it in files.

Cons: Anything more complex than setting up signing on a document or signing a document can be messy. SSO is not easy to setup or change, working with connections to other systems is a bit of a headache.

Overall: Quick response and easy storage and retrieval of documents.

I've used DocuSign a few times to electronically sign paperwork.

Pros: The interface is user-friendly and everything is manageable. You can see the list of all documents that should be signed, the stages of contract signing and all names who are involved in the process. You can manage each contract separately having the opportunity to send it back with some small notes.

Cons: There are no strong disadvantages of the product but there is a range of substitutional products that could be better in term of the price. Everything depends on the scale of documentation that you have to handle.

Overall: Very useful when you have so many contracts to sign and manage each of them separately

Pros: I love minimizing paperwork. DocuSign is the epitome of simplifying the paperwork process for our clients. Clients are able to log-in quickly and sign documents with minimal effort.
DocuSign has allowed us to track multiple envelopes of paperwork without extra effort on our part. This also makes it easier to remind clients they have a document to sign.

Cons: One of my biggest complaints with DocuSign is the very steep learning curve faced in the beginning. Creating your first envelope should be fairly simple, and for the most part it is, until you do something wrong...which is inevitable. Sometimes buttons won't function the way you want, so you have to edit the settings on them. The settings are not self-explanatory. It's almost as if you accidentally opened up the "advanced settings" interface on a coding program. The lingo isn't common, there are lots of options about details that don't make sense. I was very confused the first time I had to fix something.
Thankfully, we have a few people familiar with the process. It has taken me close to 6 months to become fluent with the program.

Overall: It's exceptionally convenient! No one likes reading and signing paperwork, but this makes the process simple and easy.

Pros: There is only one pro over their competitors in my opinion. They have an integration with Infusionsoft which is our CRM. This is a huge deal and makes automated contract sending incredible.

Cons: This is not necessarily a knock on DocuSign only but a pretty standard complaint with all e-signatures. They are expensive and docusign, in particular, is very clunky. That being said we won't leave them anytime soon because of the integration with Infusionsoft.

Pros: Templates make it easy to use the same documents over and over. Great for real estate transactions. User interface has improved dramatically since a few years ago.

Cons: Sometimes it can be confusing for users who aren't tech savvy to complete the process. "I'm finished" button should be at the bottom of the document to avoid confusion for the end user. Without templates, it is time consuming to add signature/initial blocks to large documents.

Overall: Easily send documents to clients for signature and receive signed/secure document back when completed.

Pros: We use this integrated right into Salesforce in order to get our agreements into our customers' hands digitally (via a simply email). The setup is straightforward and integrating it with Salesforce fields and mapping them was actually not as hard as it sounds.

Cons: If you're using it with Salesforce (like we are), then the setup will definitely take a solid day, but after that it's pretty much 'set it and forget it' - does what it's meant to do, no problems.

Overall: It's a great platform for getting documents signed digitally. Really can;t think of another one I've used that has as many needed features, especially when you just need to make the documents in a regular old MS Word template...

Pros: Simply put, modern commerce demands a simple and efficient solution to gathering signatures. DocuSign is good at this and delivers powerful feature functionality.

Cons: The application is pricey, especially since Apple Preview can do this for free. This is an expense that many small businesses can't shoulder. While the features are powerful, they take some time to learn . . . if you're on the lowest-price tier, there isn't much support.

Cons: The user interface can be a little daunting for people that are not tech savvy and there are not many additional or special feature to note. Also, the pricing is a bit much for what the program can do. You get a good deal if you pay for a full year in advance.

Pros: DocuSign is efficient for working on contracts or anything where you need to have a digital signature. DocuSign enables you to efficiently email documents to people who are "signers" and it provides reminders if a person misses a signature spot. Documents will not be forwarded until they are completed. When they are signed they are automatically emailed. The software is easy to set up. DocuSign can be set up to be emailed to the same address for two different people to sign. This is helpful when two people share the same email address.

Cons: The software can take a little bit to figure out as some of the training videos are not the best. It is important to remember that you cannot edit a document until you have an email address that it is going to be sent to. DocuSign can be set up to be emailed to the same address for two different people to sign. This is both a positive but is also a negative for security purposes to verify who signed the document.

Overall: Efficient electronic document signatures.

Comments: There has to be a better way to get forms more presentable than spending hours to get them perfect. Right now, modifying form fields is too painstaking. Maybe a zoom feature would help or a feature that recognizes lines or boxes on a document and can click in place a fillable field.

Pros: I like the ease of sending a form to an employee. I also appreciate being able to replace a document but it is only easy if the document is already divided into sections.

Cons: Trying to update a form and get the fields exact is very frustrating. As one who wants the fillable fields actually on the line of the document, it takes precision and is not user-friendly trying to be precise.

Pros: I like that you can make documents essentially "error proof" when sending to clients. Cons: I have not used this product long enough to find any cons. Guess I'm still in the honeymoon period. However, if I run across any, I'll be sure to update this review! :-)

I had to use DocuSign when I was in the process of getting a mortgage.

Pros: The functionality is being able to upload already signed contracts to countersign or to upload blank contracts for completion & execution.

Cons: The tagging and fields. Editing their features is very complicated, and I have a hard time grouping fields and making sure they behave the right way.

Overall: Automation, paperless processing

Pros: Most efficient way to obtain signatures when in person face to face isn't convenient. The email clickable links allow easy access to necessary documents.

Pros: I like that you can indicate where one should sign and date just by dragging and dropping. Not only that, but you can indicate which party signs where which is very helpful to the recipients. The dashboard itself is very user-friendly, clear, and easy to navigate.

Cons: The only thing I don't like is that there is no pop-up tutorial when first signing in, at least for institutional users.

Pros: What I like most about this software is how easy it is to use. I use it to send contracts to our clients every day.

Cons: What I like the least about this program is it is sometimes does not save contacts and it seems to be at random.

Great way to manage contracts and documents.

Pros: This is the easiest way we've found to quickly get tenant signatures on new rental agreements. Easy to customize emails so recipients recognize they are from us.

Cons: They may have this now, but when I set up my templates, they did not allow functions in the PDF fields, meaning that our signers would have to enter information multiple times. It would have been easier to make fields equal to fields entered on previous pages.

Pros: This product is so easy to use and is very green. No more printing out contracts or having to drive over originals across the city.

Cons: It would be nice if there was a snap feature and a preview feature so that the date and signature don't sometimes overlap if someone's signature is very long.

Nothing bad to say. Docusign is a very useful tool when needing a client to sign a form/contract.

Pros: Easy to use - super user friendly. Very convenient for clients to sign documents electronically, rather than the traditional method of sending documents via direct mail.

Overall: UI/UX is top-notch. Able to send documents to be signed electronically and get notified once they have been signed.

Pros: Highly trusted for the single most important element in every contract: the signature! We used this a recently as last week, and found it very flexible: EX: When there was a point in the contract where we had reason to pause, the program allowed us an unlimited amount of time to do so. We also find it the most universally-accepted by customers too.

Cons: Not the cheapest signing product, but as we said, the signature is the most important element in finalzing any contract.

Pros: DocuSign is an easy e-signature interface that was rolled out for both external and internal signature needs. We have streamlined our company signature process using DocuSign.

Cons: I wish the connector for Salesforce had more options. The lack of knowledge of which documents are being sent within SFDC via Docusign.

I use DocuSign when on a project to project basis whenever there is a contract involved.

Pros: I like the standardized process that DocuSign offers for contracts. With electronic signatures the process is much more efficient and cost effective.

Cons: I've heard vendors say that the email they receive with the DocuSign can look like spam or suspicious if they are not used to signing things electronically.

Pros: I like that this a virtual platform to get your documents signed and returned to where they need to be.

Cons: I have the free version of this software, and I am only able to sign 3 documents before purchasing a full version. This can be troublesome for some consumers.

Great way to get things done remotely without having to be in an office.

Pros: I love how I am able to work remotely and don't need to be in an office to utilize an actual fax machine. Receiving faxes right into my email along with confirmations that they went through successfully is great.

Cons: I think have a few less steps to go through would be nice but overall the tool is great. There is always room for improvement and I am sure that will come over time.
