It makes signing online so easy you can get documents anywhere and sign right on the spot online. Pros This is a great tool to have handy easy to use and mobile friendly and great value for your money. Just load you documents and all set. Great support there when needed. DocuSign made signing multiple documents easy! Pros I love how easy it is to navigate within this platform, and the ability to send the document to other signers on it is a great feature! Value for money saving/sending all docs electronically no need to file all the contracts. Cons Sometimes documents didn't load due to some bug fix but it can be resend from the other user. Pros I've learned that it is an industry standard in the field of contract signing. The fact that everyone has used it before makes sending contracts seamless and attractive to clients. Cons I think it's a little expensive for smaller comapnies, considering we don't send that many contracts per year, it can be a little steep per contract sent. But it still needs a few tweaks here and there. Pros A versatile tool that really gets into its own when you adopt in sufficiently into your organisation’s process. The template feature has significantly reduced the time to send out contracts, NDAs and project paperwork. Cons Some of the document editing tools (where you add in fields to complete) are still a little clunky. My main pain point is that whilst you can link Google Drive, it only allows you to access My Drive documents and not ones on a shared drive. After the initial meeting, new clients would need to sign an official contract to confirm photography services. It was so much easier to email them them the link and then we could talk details instead of waiting for the next available time to meet. Pros I love how easy Docusign is to for the owner to navigate but also how easy it is for clients to use. They take the person step by step and shows them the places they need to sign. Perfect for contracts and takes the stress out of the workflow. Cons I cannot think of one thing I dislike about Docusign. They are perfect at what they do and make it worth every penny. Cons Sometimes we encounter errors when customers have to sign documents that are over a hundred pages. This can be an inconvenience. Not good. Just fine. Not worth the crazy prices they try to justify - but will mark down if you push hard enough on them. Ironclad has been a better fit for us and we are moving more onto that platform from Docusign. Pros It's everywhere, and customers and prospects will all understand how it works and how to use it. Being ubiquitous is a real strength. And, if you have a very simple use case - like signing one single document - it works very well. Cons No meaningful innovation in the past decade. And the staff of people working on Sales and Customer Success have trended towards tone-deafness when it comes to listening to their customers and what they're optimizing for. Being able to sign documents while on the move as well as after hours has benefitted me. I've used the program mostly to sign others documents, but in the near future I can see myself also using it to send forms and documents to be sign from my end. Program is straight forward and intuitive to use. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a paperless/digital way to consummate documents. Pros I love the ability to receive a link from an intended party and be able to sign a document remotely. Many times I am on the move so having the luxury of securely signing and receiving a copy of signed document in my email is a tremendous benefit. Cons Having to sign into my account to retrieve a document that was signed a while ago can be a bit cumbersome. Other departments use it for vendors and we all used it when we first got onboarded to work here. It's a reliable tool. Pros Very easy to create a T&C's document to send to a large group of people. It's easy to track the progress of the signatures to see what our response rate is. Cons We have heard from some users that links and documents gets lost in their spam, but that's more of an issue with the end user than it is with Docusign I think. Pros Very easy to use and saves a ton of time. I like how quickly I can send documents out and get them signed without needing to meet in person. The interface is simple, and clients usually have no issues figuring it out. Great for real estate transactions and anything time-sensitive. Cons Pricing can get expensive, especially as usage scales. Also, some of the more advanced features and templates can feel a bit clunky to set up at first. Pros The user interface is well designed and it is a joy to use. Its also easy to edit envelopes which have gone out for signature. Cons I think the witness function could be improved. Its not obvious how it functions for the person setting up the envelope or the person receiving the envelope. I really appreciate the ability to sign things quickly and easily and also be notified when this happens. Pros Its easy and simple. Sending and receiving notifications that documents are available and are ready to sign (or have been signed) are top notch. Simple and easy links that take you to where you need to go to sign are very helpful. Cons It can often look like spam. Too many emails these days are spam and phishing emails so what could separate themselves from other similar companies, is a better look and feel to make it evident that it is not spam.
