Pros DocuSign is an organization's must-have if your firm negotiates contracts and/or legal documents. I love that I can send a document to a sales rep while he or she is on the road, and get an electronic signature when needed. Additionally, this methodology works for business colleagues as well. Cons DocuSign has been a lifesaver for our organization as we deal in contracts and legal documents on a regular basis. I love how user-friendly and easy to apply this software is, as such, I have not experienced any negativity associated with this product. Docusign allowed this to seamlessly happen in almost real time. It is an amazing product. Pros Being able to get people to sign documents from all over the country in a timely manner is essential, especially during times of social distancing and COVID. Pros What I like about DocuSign is the ease of access and the ability to send others important documents to sign without worrying over other people being able to access it. Cons One thing I wish we could do is have a side by side view of what the other person is seeing when they are signing. Currently if I have someone who cannot figure out what to click on I just describe what I think it would look like and it would be better to be able to see their version and say this is what you are looking for. I think the cost for the product is high however. I think they know companies will pay it so that is what they charge, but I don't see small companies paying for this. Pros I love that I no longer have to print and snail mail contracts and documents. With a couple clicks of a button, a document is shot over to the recipients and I receive a completed document without ever having to print anything. I like that I can create folders to store all my completed documents for organization and that it allows me to save templates so I am not always having to reinvent the wheel. Cons I don't like that they charge extra for security verification (ie, passcode or security questions). In this sort of scenario, I think that should be standard for all documents. I have also had issues with a large document where no matter what the signor input, the system would still not take their response and let them submit the document. DocuSign support could not figure out what was wrong and so I had to recreate the entire doc much to my and my customer's frustration. Review Source Marshall G. If you can't offer most/all services online, including form signing, you're at a disadvantage. Pros Have used a number of e-sig platforms while purchasing real estate, and this is by far the easiest to use and most feature rich. Cons No complaints, easy to use even when not logged in. Pros When sending documents that need to be signed to clients, DocuSign makes it very easy to do so while outlining exactly what needs to be completed on the document. Clients also love the features because it is quick and easy for them to use. Having the ability to send out mass communications that used to be very lengthy is now streamlined. Cons The perception of security is one thing that is noticeable with clients. No matter the situation clients are going to be worried when giving out sensitive information, so while it isn't exactly a DocuSign problem, that hesitation is there.
