### "Bluebeam has by far surpassed and "PDF Viewer" software and has made my job 10x more efficient. "

June 6, 2018

5.0

It has save a lot of time. I have also found an endless amounts of functions in this software that has been very helpful while trying to present information to clients.

Pros

I love the constant improvements but also keeping core functions that I use everyday . the shotcut keys are awesome. Combining PDFs with ease as amazing. Batch function to perform find and mark functions with hundreds of sheets in seconds is amazing.

Cons

the 3D PDF part is still a little foreign and tough to make my way around. It does seem to slow down a lot when there are more lines or layers to the PDFs as well. If there was a way to improve on that that would be great.

### "A nice interface and a powerful PDF handler""

July 17, 2019

5.0

Bluebeam is the best PDF editor for anyone in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry.

Pros

Bluebeam provides so many editing tools for marking up documents, basically PDFs. With Bluebeam it is really easy to modify any given Pdf. It supports creating PDF's out of other documents, such as Word, Excel, JPG's. Bluebeam revu can take lot of fine details and can be used for signing documents.

Cons

When so much of fine details are included in drawings, specially in architectural or structural drawings, the process of loading them takes much time. Further it would be better if they can add a command line like in Autocad.

### "Why? Quit using this overpriced Adobe Acrobat!"

July 26, 2021

3.0

Boo. Seriously, stop using things that say AEC when they clearly are just overpriced alternatives to other good software already out there.

Pros

Not much, the markup content and price don't help this.

Cons

Too overhyped. Too clunky. Commands not intuitive. Too many submenus. Does the same thing Adobe Acrobat does - but packaged differently for more!

### "Bluebeam"

December 15, 2018

5.0

Pros

Easily markup or combine documents. The measuring tool for architectural plans is extremely useful. The features provided by this program make document editing and collaboration quick and easy.

Cons

There are a significant amount of features and uses available, but they are not all easy to figure out. Took the help of google to learn how to do some of the things I wanted.

### "One of the best PDF Software"

January 1, 2021

5.0

I used it for a long time and it was a fundamental part of my work although I was always a bit uncomfortable with the interface and the difficulty of use

Pros

It is one of the best programs for reading and editing PDF that there can be, compared to other tools

Cons

The interface is quite complicated and not very intuitive, especially for users who are not very experienced

### "Yay or Nay BlueBeam Revu"

March 20, 2019

5.0

Overall it's really a great software for those who have to update drawings or forms . I wouldn't use any other software but Bluebeam.

Pros

This software is way better then Adobe reader and I feel it's much easier to navigate as well. I use bluebeam for everything. I can update drawings, forms, spreadsheets and much more. I really don't know what I would do without this program. There are so many functionalities it's endless. It took me a minute to learn the new version of bluebeam due to changes on the icons, but once I figured those out it was easy.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say about this software.

### "Bluebeam give you more than you paid for"

May 10, 2018

5.0

It compliments any other software you have.

Pros

This software is by far the "most for the least." I haven't found any other software that allows for such robust examination and sharing of plans for so cheap. Bluebeam allows us to decide who can alter plans, who can flatten them (make the changes permanent), and who can just view them (like sub-contractors). Paid subscriptions are super cheap compared to other softwares that make the same claims.

Cons

Sometimes the icons can get confusing, and having to use a password all the time is a pain, but a small price to pay for a cool shareable medium for plans.

### "takes PDF making to a new level"

December 31, 2019

5.0

bluebeam has made it easy to collaborate among our team members and communicate project related tasks all in one place.

Pros

bluebeam creates/edits PDF's in a re-imagined way. the tools and functionality are limitless. the studio version makes it easy for an entire team to collaborate on one PDF and mark up revisions as needed.

Cons

you must all be working in the same year version of the software to use studio. sometimes when a file is too big, it will slow down the software and become virtually unusable.

### "We use this product throughout our entire office. "

July 17, 2018

5.0

This software saves me time and energy!

Pros

Bluebeam is easy to use. The navigation menu is clear. I particularly like that I can flatten a document that I've changed. That way, when I send it out, nobody else can change it back.

Cons

I can not think about anything I dislike. Even the price is fair. Everything I have needed this software to do, it has meet my expectations.

### "Bluebeam Revu Review"

June 28, 2021

5.0

Overall Bluebeam has been great! Never have had any software issues come up with my users and their support is always quick!

Pros

I like that this software is easy to install and I can easily see what licenses are installed to which computers from their licensing portal

Cons

I wish that instead of having to input each serial number and product number and my email every time I check for a license I could instead just go to my account portal and view all the Licenses that I have purchased and all the locations of their installs so I can see everything in one page.

Reason for choosing Bluebeam Revu

We use both, it just depends on who is using them

### "The best & easiest to use pdf software for beginners or industry professionals, bar none."

July 14, 2017

5.0

If you can think it, you can do it with Bluebeam Software. I have definitely received ROI within the 1st month. This software has revolutionized how I do my job & how easily I can communicate with industry professionals in a more sophisticated manner. It has definitely elevated the appearance of my business.

Pros

Versatility to do just about anything with a PDF. My uses are the ability to Create / Edit / Improve Construction Drawings, Submittals, Take-Offs, Design, Shop Drawings, RFI's, Bid Forms, signature pages & much more

Cons

Would like more CAD / Tekla like capabilities. Since I make shop drawings & design drawings when applicable, I spend too much making an accurate layout. I would like an ability to panelize an entire area with typical spacings between panels. Also, an ability to capture the sizes of pieces in area to appear onto a BOM

### "Amazing PDF Editor"

May 30, 2019

5.0

Pros

I normally use this for PDF editing, but the functions that are jam-packed in this software is mind-blowing! It is definitely a leading standard in terms of all the PDF readers out there (Adobe, Foxit, etc). I'd highly recommend it if you are constantly reviewing and editing PDFs.

Cons

I do not have any recommendations for this program at this time.

I love this software! for the not so techy person this allows almost anyone to join reviews with markup and tabbing notes. design edits and adds. measure! do overlays to view deltas.

Pros

Drag n drop, tools for markup, sessions for Realtime reviews. Import and exporting, Overlay function, Area tool, area measurement of odd shapes. ease of edit for mistakes. ability to read engineering docs.

Cons

The you have to import more tools and that it does not come loaded with these already. automatic save or refresh.

### "Great for Redlines"

January 25, 2019

5.0

Pretty awesome program. Great for markups, great for interactive meetings. Great for site visit notes.

Pros

Bluebeam is great for marking up a set during a gotomeeting without having to have the BIM model open. The best element is that you can measure off of PDFs.

Cons

It is a little hard to Learn all of the program’s features. It can be overwhelming when you first open it. As a result, some of the more advanced features including it’s ability to link to ArchiCAD with revisions don’t get used because we don’t want to accidentally mess anything up in the model.

### "A great alternative to Adobe Acrobat"

September 19, 2018

5.0

Mixed media PDFs, Collaboration, Large PDF performance.

Pros

Bluebeam is great at handling large complex PDFs. For construction, mixed media PDFs are a must, and Bluebeam is able to handle them with ease. Being able to have one document that contains high res photos/drawings along with contracts is incredibly useful. Collaboration features also make it easy for multiple users to review one document at the same time.

Cons

Initially there were some issues we experienced with browser integration, however, bluebeam support was able to rectify these issues.

### "A Great PDF viewer!"

January 24, 2019

5.0

Pros

Easy to use. Bluebeam Revu allows you to view PDF files in similar fashion to the traditional Adobe program. I found that the Bluebeam software is far less taxing on your computer system. So the performance of day to day PDF viewing is smoother and quicker. I also like the tools available for marking up and commenting on PDF's. Emailing directly from the software makes editing documents a breeze. You can view, mark-up and email back a document within minutes. For those in the design industry this is a huge plus.

Cons

There is a plug in for windows explorer, for viewing pdf files with out opening the pdf itself. I find this feature to be a bit slow in loading, sometimes its easier to just open the file rather than trying to work within the explorer feature.

### "The best tool for creating take-off from PDF"

December 3, 2023

5.0

Pros

Bluebeam Revu is the best software I have ever used. If you have a problem with converting PDF to DWG to make a take-off, don't worry Bluebeam Revu can do it in PDF, and it can identity any plan type and components like pipes, lighting fixtures ...etc.

Cons

One thing that I hate about Bluebeam Revu is that is consumes a lot from the devices' recourses.

### "The product is a true life saver."

March 1, 2018

5.0

Pros

As someone who reviews and edits PDF documents on a daily basis, I couldn't image my day without Bluebeam. You can do just about any with this software including but not limited to scaling drawing, adding notes, editing documents, signing documents and even batch renaming documents.

Cons

The reduce file size option is not as effective as I'd like, I often find myself with large file that I can send via email and wish Bluebeam allowed me to make files smaller without so much image distortion.

### "Bluebeam Revu Review"

February 20, 2020

5.0

in one word, Accuracy. This is the only necessity in estimating.

Pros

This software, in my opinion, is necessary for estimating. There is no room for error in estimating and every measurement must be the upmost accurate. Bluebeam delivers the accuracy necessary and helps minimize your exposure to making mistakes, to the max.

Cons

This is an advanced software that is only user friendly if you know what you are doing. A user tutorial is absolutely necessary. This is only a con if, as a user, you are looking for instant gratification. You must take the time to learn how it works.

### "Best PDF software I've ever used"

February 20, 2019

5.0

A great program for marking up or redlining drawings and documents. The scaling function is amazing, once you get the scale set.

Pros

Extremely powerful and great for takeoffs and "Redlining". Much more user friendly and powerful than the Adobe Acrobat counterpart.

Cons

Once you get started using it, it becomes extremely powerful. However there is a slight learning curve.
