### "Great Product"

September 30, 2019

5.0

Bluebeam for ios has made remote sign-off sheets much easier than the Adobe offering

Pros

Bluebeam has a great user interface and works well with our cad drawings the separate management application make it easy for me to resolve printer stalls or flattening failures that may occur

Cons

the cost is always something we look at, but feel that we are able to highly leverage the product for great value

### "Fantastic document review program"

February 13, 2018

5.0

If you need a document editing/viewing software, this is it.

Pros

Bluebeam can handle everything I throw at it. I can convert from almost any format to a PDF, images, office docs, websites, you name it. Not only that, it can backwards convert to most file types. I can take an image of text and convert it to a word document, or take a matrix on a set of plans and go to excel.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features are a pain to figure out. There is so much functionality built into the program that I've actually had to relearn things because they are buried in menus and options.

### "My Saving Grace"

March 24, 2020

5.0

I could not do my job without Bluebeam Revu, this software alone has changed how we do business.

Pros

I love the option to customize tools to fit individual needs and the overlay option to see what changes, if any, there are to updated plan sets.

Cons

I think the software could be a bit cheaper, especially as most softwares going operating on the cloud.

### "I can't do my job without it!"

April 17, 2017

5.0

A must have for any General Contractor.

Pros

Bluebeam Revu is an extremely versatile software with a wide range of uses that apply to all project stakeholders. At a basic level, the software is similar to your run of the mill PDF editor. Where it really shines is with its industry specific tools for mark-ups, as-builts, drawing management, quantity take-offs, document distribution and its ability to offer a simulated drawing revu session virtually and in real-time.

Cons

I was able to jump on Bluebeam Revu and use it at a pretty high level within a couple of days. I have, however, seen others struggle with it. They are always able to utilize a percentage of the software's functionality, but sometimes aren't able to progress to the software's higher level tools.

### "Bluebeam Revu is great for construction"

August 6, 2019

4.0

Revu is a staple in my daily work. It provides functionality that surpasses other PDF programs I have used and allows me to work much more effectively.

Pros

This has the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks beyond just manipulating PDFs. It lets you perform takeoffs, document analysis, and more.

Cons

The recent redesign made it more difficult to find the common commands I wanted and seems less intuitive.

The ease of use and ability to edit and mark up documents to your own liking. The multiple functions that the software has available.

Cons

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to find the toolbars and to place them in the locations that you prefer.

### "A lot of options"

February 5, 2019

4.0

I use Bluebeam to review and edit Architectural and Cad drawings, typically during meetings or group reviews. Works very well.

Pros

Easy access to pdf edits and on the fly decision making and discussions.

Cons

There are so many options that it can get difficult to not be overwhelmed and find yourself searching for the best way to do what you really want to do.

### "The best PDF editor for anyone who wants more than simple markups"

September 25, 2018

5.0

Pros

The markups are as flexible as you could possibly want, including totally customizable stamps, etc. It supports 360 camera images embedded into the files, all kinds of grouping options, and easy control of arrangement (front to back of the document). The ability to flatten markups before sharing is great, too.

Cons

I believe they just massively updated their cost, though I'm not in the group reviewing that in detail. If you don't flatten markups before emailing or sharing them, Apple devices very often don't display the markups at all, which is bad

### "The BEAT overall program its an all in one PLUS!!!"

February 6, 2020

5.0

it has been exceptional. Ive self taught myself and have loved each and every bit of it!!! easy to use, figure out and teach others.

Pros

this program takes power point, adobe acrobat, auto cad, and GoToMyPc... all in one. you can export to power point, combine create edit and MORE than acrobat, draw n design create just as well if not better than auto cad, and communicate with each other as a group live!!

Cons

Takes time to learn all the functions, BUT they have easy to follow videos you can watch and it doesnt cost a penny!! like most others do!!

Reason for choosing Bluebeam Revu

by far the best for the price!!

### "I use BlueBeam almost every day at work for documents"

February 15, 2018

5.0

It has allowed me to collaborate with ease on projects that have high level of detail.

Pros

I like the ability of having a digital software that you can upload documents and blueprints to and make edits on. It is easily transferable, no hassle, and can be used for great collaboration. Similar formatting as Microsoft Word.

Cons

Not much to complain about with BlueBeam. Possibly the fact that the main file it saves in is pdf. If you needed diversity in your types of files that would be a negative.

### "Has some compatibility issues..."

July 19, 2018

3.0

Pros

This is a very powerful piece of software. It has tons and tons of features and is definitely more robust than something like Acrobat Viewer. Not really even comparable.

Cons

The biggest problem I have with this software is its compatibility. If you were working by yourself, it would function perfectly fine, but we you start to mix different people creating PDFs from different sources, things start to get strange... For example, creating a PDF from Adobe Creative Suite, and trying to view with BlueBeam can produce some unintended visual results. Also, comments made in BlueBeam, but opened by another person in another PDF reader may not see the comments at all.

### "A Must have for any pdf reader or editor"

December 10, 2018

5.0

Hands down the best pdf review and editing software. Will chose this over adobe 100% of the time and have gotten all of my colleagues to switch over to this program and now they all use this as their exclusive pdf viewer.

Pros

The versatility of bluebeam is amazing. From simple markups to layering and doing scaled take offs, this program can do it all. I use it for both personal and professional tasks on a daily basis. They also have great customer support and are always improving their software to keep up with the latest trends and customer needs.

Cons

Because there is so much data that can be stored on a single file, sometimes the files get very large and cumbersome to work with. Also if you add too many layers and information, the pages sometimes take a long time to load/buffer.

### "Big Fan of Revu"

August 4, 2022

5.0

I'm a big fan of revu, i would absolutely recommend it to other architects and designers

Pros

I like how easy it is to make cosmetic changes to architectural drawings. You can hide lots of mistakes that come out of other softwares and touch them up really well in Revu

Cons

I feel like importing images into a document makes the file really slow, I wonder if there's a fix to it.

### "Cool way to edit pdfs"

July 31, 2018

4.0

Pros

I like the most about this software is that it allows you to edit, cut and rewrite documents and draw on them as well.

Cons

What I like the least about this software is that it do not pick up the original font when editing. Sometimes when you don't have the original font you are stuck with trying to match it.

### "Bluebeam Revu is a necessity for my engineering work"

September 19, 2020

5.0

I use bluebeam Revu every single day to view and markup PDFs. I also use bluebeam studio to review PDFs for our projects as well

Pros

I love bluebeam Revu for its ease of tools for engineering applications. I love the markup tools as well. Then also the collaborative tools with Bluebeam Revu.

Cons

Sometimes it is a little difficult to find the tools you are seeking and there is a little time to learn where things are.

### "Excellent .pdf manipulator. Had previously used Acrobat products exclusively, had reservations."

August 17, 2017

5.0

Every possible benefit, from personal communication to system wide corporate applications.

Pros

Absolutely intuitive program. You can get up and running with this with no training, assuming you have ever used any .pdf software prior. The menus are extremely rich, and generally intelligible to anyone who is computer "fluent" at the typical office "user" level. The depth of the menus is astounding, once you are past the basics, the abilities this program lets you access will change the way you do business. I like it because it makes someone without a CAD background (me) look like a professional, I was a huge Acrobat fan, the switch to BlueBeam was a corporate decision and I didn't think I'd ever get used to it. Took about two days, actually.

### "The ultimate swiss army knife tool for everything PDF"

November 20, 2018

5.0

Its always been the fastest pdf editing and viewing software. Snapshot, flattening, reducing file size, adding file security and the tool chest are my favorite features.

Pros

Its wide berth of features and converting tools. I use the bluebeam stapler to take anything in word or excel and combine it into pdf format for easier distribution. the snapshot tool is probably the most used tool out of them all.

Cons

It can be very busy and hard to find some features depending on the layout used. I'd appreciate a simpler view for presentations that doesn;t require me to go full screen.

### "Great affordable PDF markup software "

February 28, 2019

4.0

We publish all design drawings from autocad and revit to bluebeam for pdf creation and posting.

Pros

Lots of functionality and easy to use. We converted our entire office to use this for all PDFs. We have people doing simple markups and people using for design and drafting. Admin staff use it to convert documents and merge and extract large documents. We have created custom stamps and toolchests for office wide use. It is also easy to measure and calculate areas.

Cons

Support is basically non-existent other than online blogs or google searches.

### "I started using Bluebeam 2 years ago and have know idea why I hadn't heard about it through school."

August 15, 2017

5.0

Pros

This PDF software is very intuitive, simple, and creative. It also has a great bank of support videos to help you learn how to use all of the features in the program.

Cons

For some reason when my files get more line in them the pdf tends to slow down a lot. If there were a magical way to fix this that would be amazing. Also I have found the batch functions to combine or separate PDFS or even batch link can be a little confusing and if there was some way of clarifying those steps in the program that would be helpful I think.
