### "I can't live without Bluebeam"

September 23, 2020

5.0

I honestly love Blue beam I was only using Adobe about 5 1/2 years ago and my supervisor made me start using Bluebeam and told me you will learn to love and not be able to use anything else, well he was right.

Pros

I love being able to mark up documents, measure them, sign them all in once place. I use bluebeam every hour of the day and it makes my job easier.

Cons

I don't like when their are updates that are taking place and it causes me to not be able to use some functions or certain features stop working correctly due to the update needed.

Needed a program that worked better with plans/specs for our company there are things that bluebeam can do that Adobe can't.

### "Great PDF Editor for Engineering"

April 26, 2019

5.0

Our project management users are all using Bluebeam Revu for any construction documents. The flexibility of the markup tools allow for easy estimating takeoffs. Great PDF editing for engineering or construction related work.

Pros

Many tools to markup the PDF makes estimating takeoff easy. The markups can be counted ans sorted.

Cons

Licensing can be a cumbersome. Every year there is a new version and a new license key. This can cause issues when some users are still on older versions.

### "There is nothing better than Bluebeam for PDF editing...!!!!"

October 5, 2019

5.0

I am using this great software for some designing works. I can simply edit all my designs as per clients requirements and make them perfect with absolute easy.

Pros

There is no doubt that Bluebeam Revu is the best software available at the market today for viewing and editing PDFs. Software is fairly easy to handle and learn. Free versions are available for use. There are so many editing options, tools and functions are available. PDFs can be converted to word files with high accuracy.

Cons

I absolutely have nothing against the bluebeam revu. Files with macro details takes some times to load and zooming. But that is acceptable.

### "Finally, a PDF software that does everything you need"

January 11, 2018

5.0

Easy to use and collaborate with others on common file platform (PDF).

Pros

Markups are easy, intuitive, traceable, filter-able. Easy to combine separate PDFs or other files into one.

Cons

I've heard it's pricey (although corporate IT handles this, so I don't know for sure). When software is open, it uses a LOT of memory (RAM), sometimes more than other heavy 3D modeling software I often run simultaneously, even when the PDFs I'm working on are 2D documents.

### "The best of the best"

March 5, 2019

5.0

Pros

Hands down, the best software for viewing and marking up massive PDFs. It's tool set outshines anything else out there.

Cons

In the latest major version of the software, they did a complete UI/UX redesign. While I do believe that this is a great thing, we had a number of users complain about it, as they had to "relearn" where things were located. In the end though, it wasn't that big of a deal, as the update was very much needed.

### "Bluebeam PDF Revu is a lifesaver if you need to look at or mark up a drawing really quickly. "

July 17, 2018

5.0

The ability to look at a drawing for a question instead of walking to the hard copy saves so much time for me. As much marking up and measuring as we do for our job its nice to be able to do it on the digital copy and just printing out the document so we know it is neatly done.

Pros

The ease of use to learn the software was my favorite part of this software. Having come from a background that was not construction related, I was still able to pick up and maneuver through this software with ease. This software is so robust and I know I have only cracked through the top of it's capabilities, but I look forward to seeing what else it can do.

Cons

The only issue I have with this software is that sometimes drawings and documents can become "corrupted" to where searching or measuring can be challenging.

### "Complex PDF and MarkUp Software Tool"

September 15, 2022

5.0

BlueBeam is a comprehensive solution for use in the construction industry that allows you to easily view and mark up plans and drawings.

Pros

BlueBeam is a very complex software that has extensive capabilities for creating and marking up PDF documents and it has a lot more options than the standard Adobe products.

Cons

There are so many tools available to use in the software that it can be a little hard to learn how to use them all.

Bluebeam is number one, when it comes to PDF. We use ot everday.

Pros

We love using Bluebeam for drawings that are sent to our customers for their approval. These are easy to mark up.

Cons

My only complaint is when I change computers and have to sign in and out on the new computer. Bluebeam is currently working on this.

### "Extremely Powerful"

December 14, 2018

5.0

Pros

Bluebeam is by far the absolute best PDF reader and editor I have ever used. There are so many helpful features that are not offered on Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc. For accountants, this is by far the best software to use.

Cons

The software is very memory intensive so it doesn't work well on "normal" computers. When opening large PDFs it would frequenly freeze for minutes at a time. It is also very expensive.

### "Powerful Software"

January 8, 2019

5.0

Pros

There are so many things you can do with this software. Embed clickable hyperlinks onto objects, scale a PDF with the calibration tool, paste a piece of text in the same place on multiple sheets with a couple of clicks, and the list goes on and on. You can combine different types of files into a PDF.

Cons

Its tough to insert an image into a PDF, you have to copy it from another application into the PDF.

### "Game Changer"

August 14, 2018

5.0

Pros

What is there not to like about Bluebeam? I first started using it when I got in the construction industry in June 2016 and I have never used a PDF editing software that is as user friendly as Bluebeam. There is countless things you can use it for and more than anything, it is the editing options and capabilities that this program has what makes it simply unique. Being able to create a session and invite members to join is quite a unique feature too; I am glad my company uses it for basically everything!

Cons

This isn't a negative comment, as I truly don't have anything bad to say about it, but if anything I would say that I would like to have a bit more training on how to use the software as it updates from one version to the other; I wish there was either trainings or instructional videos that would show the users how it is that a new version of Bluebeam compares to the older one. With that said above, it is by far, the best PDF viewer/editor there is out there!

### "Very usable software "

January 7, 2021

5.0

My overall experience is that bluebeam is great and user friendly. I much prefer it over Adobe products.

Pros

Bluebeam makes it very easy to mark up plans in a clean fashion. This is important when submitting numerous QC documents

Cons

The only con I have noticed is the printing can be slow regardless of the number of sheets in the document.

### "Best markup program out there"

August 23, 2021

5.0

Pros

In my job, I need to find the smallest of details in construction plans, and the search features in Bluebeam make this incredibly easy. From one file to an entire folder, it mostly finds every instance of what I need.

Cons

Remembering settings from one file to another can sometimes be a hassle, but generally you are only limited by the quality of PDF you are viewing.

Reason for choosing Bluebeam Revu

I have used the program for near on 10 years now.

### "Bluebeam Is a Game Changer"

January 27, 2021

Amazing, I use it every day and I don’t know what I would do without it 10/10.

Pros

Working in the construction industry I use bluebeam on a daily basis. It’s Amazing! I use it to mark up pdf’s, combine pdf’s, put together monthly requisitions and review plans.

Cons

If you haven’t use it before it’s a little confusing and seems overwhelming because there are so many functions. In due time you will learn!!!

### "Best PDF editor in the world"

July 6, 2019

5.0

Bluebeam is being used for all our company related pdf related works. Software is a great tool and can master with ease.

Pros

Bluebeam is the best PDF editor in the market right now. This software can basically do anything to a pdf. It helps to create, edit, convert and import pdfs with much ease. Available functions are remarkable. Earlier I was using a different PDF editor and from the moment I start to use Bluebeam I was amazed with it's capabilities.

Cons

I love everything about Bluebeam. I haven't contacted their support system. But I guess that also great.

### "Best PDF Tool for Architects, Designers, Construction, and Real Estate Developers"

April 1, 2019

5.0

Viewing, marking up, and editing design drawings.

Pros

Bluebeam is so much easier to mark up a PDF set than any other PDF software that I have used. It blows away Adobe Acrobat in terms of features, markup tools, and ease of use for design and construction related professionals. You can even put together decent quick presentations with it in a pinch as a sort of poor man's InDesign for lack of a better term. I'm constantly learning new helpful features of this program and highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy feature rich markup tool.

Cons

I occassionally have issues selecting objects because they seem to have a rather large invisible "selection zone" around them. This can at times make it very difficult to select markups that are small and in close proximity.

### "Solid product"

May 19, 2022

Would love to see some sort of export to excel with the information attached to tool chest descriptions.

Pros

Tool Chest, legend, markup tools. Exploring the cloud option now and encouraged by the lifecycle management aspect.

Cons

Computer requirements for processing the software / file size.

### "Don’t use anything else"

September 26, 2018

5.0

I can draft details with all the markup tools and do it just about as quick as hand sketching something, but I can save and modify or manipulate that detail however I want in the future. I also really love the studio session functions. I have used the studio like other live screen sharing programs out there, but this is so fast and seamless that it doesn’t make sense to use anything else.

Pros

There are so many features that help me save time in doing everyday tasks related to engineering.

Cons

The software seems to partially freeze up after a few hours of using or if I leave it on in the background for overnight.

### "Excellent Product"

July 16, 2018

Pros

I have the extreme version and absolutely love this software. It has an unbelievable amount of useful tools for editing and combining pdf files.

Cons

Really the only con for this software is that it takes a while to learn in order to use all the available tools. Also would be nice if you could put it on more than one device,so i could have both laptop and desktop

### "Bluebeam - the easiest pdf markup software I've used!"

August 30, 2022

5.0

Pros

Most tools you could possibly need are simply found and deployed. More complicated options are robust and accessible, and the Bluebeam online database is easy to search for anything you could possibly need!

Cons

Sometimes the license manager doesn't know that I do have a license - twice in 2 years I've had to get my IT dept involved.

### "Wonderful tool for making quick changes to PDF"

July 19, 2019

This tool helps me make changes to my PDF files, merge them, split mages, add necessary notes and edit text.

Pros

It's an excellent tool that makes it super easy to do all kinds of manipulations with PDF files which is often a big help in my line of work.

Cons

I've been using this tool for more than 3 years and it has never let me down, so I can't think of a single negative thing, I'm afraid.

### "The best on-screen 2-D takeoff software."

June 26, 2018

5.0

Pros

A powerful takeoff software, works very fast and prefect for the PDF format drawings. there is a variety of functions and you are able to make different layers to make your takeoff more proper.

Cons

Not appropriate for 3D takeoff such as earthwork. Bluebeam has been designed for building projects. Although it is applicable for infrastructure projects as well.

### "All the tools"

January 16, 2019

4.0

BB has great collaboration functionality. Sharing drawings and keeping track of markups is vital to us.

Pros

BB includes so many tools. Typically, using other pdf applications, you have to install plugins or 3rd party applications to get all the functionality you need. It is all included with BlueBeam.

Cons

Because of all the functionality, it takes some time getting use to the interface.

Make my work easier and more efficient.

Pros

possible to compare versions of pdf drawings. Mobile app works great, it is fast and has many sharing options. Its a great tool for construction foreman or project managers to connect with design teams.

Cons

it has some limitations on changes to drawings. it is not as powerful as Autocad. No real drawbacks that I can see.
