Pros: As a Hootsuite user for 7 years now, it is by far my favorite social media management software. Creating, optimizing, and posting social media for different platforms, etc. takes a lot more time than you would expect. Not only do you have to craft each post to fit each platform you're posting to you have to choose the best time, use the right hashtags, shorten URLS, and include something interesting (i.e. picture, video, content). Overall, what many believe will only take them 10 minutes, in reality it can take up 2-5 (or more) hours of your work week; even more when you include the content creation for the actual posting. Hootsuite is the best tool for compiling all your social media efforts into one dashboard you can work from and will definitely knock hours off your work week. PROS The best feature of Hootsuite is the time you will gain. Most social media platforms have a scheduling aspect to them but having to manually log in and out of each one, to do so, is not feasible or conducive for speed. Hootsuite provides you with analytics on each of your chosen platforms, located in its dashboard, to help you identify the most optimal time(s) to schedule each post to be sent out; this especially comes in handy for days you know you will be on the go and/or do not have access to technology. You can also scroll through past social media posts, save unfinished drafts, and boost posts for content promos; which will provide you with more insight and/or a better understanding of which of your efforts and/or CTA's are working best. Hootsuite's platform has various analytics and reports you can export so your team(s) can measure things like conversion rates, marketing and sales initiatives, and improvements in monthly social capital. One of the neat things about this platform is the option to purchase additional social media management applications for things like YouTube Analytics and video posting, Wordpress blog analytics and posting, Google Analytics, etc. Hootsuite also provides the option to export reports (including customized reports) on any of the platforms connected to your account, to measure competition, areas of improvement, click stats, and which platform is bringing in the largest amount of traffic to your website/content, etc. Because the company I work for uses another third-party application (Lead Liaison) to track visitors and traffic sources to our website, we use the free version of Hootsuite.

Cons: One of the cons of Hootsuite is its inability to detect whether or not your traffic is originating from an actual human or an automated bot. This can interfere with your data and make it hard to decipher if the data you have access to is valid or not; this is true for Google Analytics as well. To avoid this, we use a third-party application for visitor tracking (Lead Liaison). You may get notifications that your social network(s) have been disconnected from your dashboard; don't worry, you simply just have to reconnect them. Although I am not sure why this happens so often, I trust that this has nothing to do the security of my account and I always receive notifications when I sign in to my account from a new device, etc.

Pros: It is one of the simplest Social media managers in the market, the freeplan is great because it provides essential features for beginners and experts at no cost. I also like the mini tutorial for new users, at the right side of the dashboard.

I personally use Tweetdeck for social listening on Twitter but Hootsuite is also great for that.

Cons: I dont like the fact that if i want to schedule a post with multiple images i'll have to schedule it directly on Facebook or on Tweetdeck for twitter.

Overall: Hootsuite and Buffer are my go to social media, despite the several other SM Managers that I've tried out. I work with 5 brands and I have to manage their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn)

I've been using Hootsuite (and Buffer) for three years but of the two Hootsuite is my favorite and my safe bet. I have a habit of testing out as many free marketing software's as I can find and in terms of social media marketing Hootsuite is the best. The interface is easy to use, and the tutorial available to each new signup is very helpful.

I love being able to tag a Facebook page, Twitter profile or Instagram profile in a post. The android app is also fully functional on my Kindle Fire (Unlike Buffer) which is a plus.

The Feedly> Hootsuite integration is a major plus, I've never used the Hootsuite RSS feed option even though I keep planning to, but I like being able to share informative posts from feedly (On my Kindle Fire) to Hootsuite.

What I love the best is that the free plan unlike buffer lets you schedule as many posts as you want to 3 social media profiles. This is great because I can schedule a month worth of social media posts in three days unlike the 10 posts per profile restriction on the Buffer's free plan.

The analytics reports aren't very detailed and often I rely on Start a Fire as well as a variety of other software's to get in-depth analytics but the brands I work with do not understand or see the need for in-depth analysis so I suppose it's okay.

I'm not happy that Hootsuite doesn't support posts with multiple images, I learnt that the awkward way when I made a post with 3 pictures.

I recommend Hootsuite for beginners and Individuals who want a simple, straight forward social media manager. Oh, and the Hootsuite academy is very insightful.

Perfect for individuals, business and agencies alike!

Pros: As a marketeer, I was lucky enough to try a few different social media management platforms. Personally, Hootsuite has always been one of my favorites. The platform is quite easy to use, and setup. The interface is quite intuitive and on boarding new members normally takes us a few minutes. We easily managed multiple accounts and switched between them in single clicks. The mini profile icons helped our team differentiate between our different clients, so we had a smaller number of mistakes. But that's not all! Team collaboration is superb once you establish a professional account. Content review and approvals that is easy to set up. You can review comments and replies and assign them to other users, and even leaves comments and notes for them. You can review other users performance and get full reports on their work.

Cons: Reporting is weak compared to other tools. And while I enjoy their pre-designed scheduled reports, I normally end up creating my own reports using other analytics tools that are more robust and provide more in-depth insights. While i enjoy setting up multiple topic columns to monitor, extracting the data is impossible and you will always need a listening tool to create monitoring and listening reports. I was on an older pricing plan for awhile now, but when I checked recently, they seem to have increased their pricing and are now quite pricey compared to some of the competing platforms, however, I still have a soft spot for them.

Pros: Hootsuite is one of the most versatile tools out there in the market. Starting from its free package, you will find yourself covering all the essentials you need for your day to day operations when it comes to social media. The columns/tabs interface is what sold the product to our team compared to all the other competitors we tried. In addition, the ability to connect multiple profiles, create columns to listen to important topics and team communications and messaging (paid feature). The free plan also allows you to schedule up to 30 posts, and if you need more, upgrading to any of their paid plans is as cheap. As we had many clients to handle and our team required a lot of collaboration, we were under the team plan. it was easy to setup an automated monthly report that goes to the client, which saved us tons of time, and the team collaboration features allowed us to assign the right roles and exchange messages, assign tasks and customer inquiries (tweets and comments) to one another with ease.

Cons: While Hootsuite covers the essentials you might need for your day to day social media, it lacks much in-depth analysis, listening and reporting features. In addition, it does not have cross-platform profiling and does not have features to help you setup competitions or gather/mine data easily.

Comments: If you manage multiple social media pages for an organization or business, this is a great tool that will make your life so much easier and save you a lot of time!

Pros: Hootsuite is a great timesaver. I love that as I'm setting up social media posts for the week, I can schedule posts across multiple platforms at the same time, and be able to further tailor them to the character of each platform (Facebook post vs. Twitter post) all from the same site. I also really appreciate how you can add or remove different "streams" from your viewing page for each social media platform. For instance, on my Facebook tab in Hootsuite, I have my page's scheduled posts in one column, our already published posts in the next column, and our inbox messages in another. For Twitter, though, I have my page's tweets in one column, our other newsfeed tweets in another (which I can retweet, reply to, and like all from that column in Hootsuite!), our mentions in a third column, and our direct messages in another.

Cons: Overall, Hootsuite is great, but there are a couple of things that bother me from time to time. When scheduling Facebook posts with multiple photo attachments, I've found that Hootsuite will publish each photo as a separate post, but with the same text each time, instead of including all the images in one post. This means that in these cases, I always have to go to Facebook's page to schedule posts with multiple images instead of being able to do it from Hootsuite. It's not something I have to do very often (typically, I only include one image with a post), but it's annoying nevertheless. I've also occasionally had Hootsuite incorrectly block me from being able to schedule my posts because it's internal clock is off and says that my posts (which I'm trying to schedule for several days away) aren't being scheduled for more than 5 minutes in the future.

Pros: Benefits of Hootsuite for agencies:

1. Super easy to manage multiple networks for multiple clients, and all in one or two clicks once you've completed set-up

2. Easy to collaborate, which is key for agency happiness; you can assign tasks and monitor the progress of those assignments

3. Viewing scheduled content for single accounts or multiple accounts is possible, even across clients, which is a big plus

4. They do have a content approval process that you can set up at their highest level which is pretty good, not the best out there, but more than most other management platforms offer

5. They have a LOT of plug-ins for their platform, which is awesome, including Slack, Wordpress and several other big ones that agencies might use or find helpful

6. They stay ahead of opportunities and have the first collaborations with the key social networks, like Instagram publishing, they were the first there

Cons: On the negative side:

1. You can only have like 7 streams in each tab, which seems like a lot, but it's not enough. I feel like there should not be a limit within each tab

2. They are expensive, in my opinion; they do compare with Sprout Social and some others, but I think they are all on the pricey side

3. Not their fault, but you now have to go direct to IG and FB for some things like checking private messages or for IG even commenting on others content is no longer available; this makes paying the higher price less desirable because now you are having to go back to managing the channels directly AND managing them via Hootsuite

Pros: Being able to measure my or my business's social media stats is super important, naturally. That data is presented to us in a way that helps us to very easily understand not just how many people are engaging with our social media posts and when, but HOW that's happening, period. Which type of posts generate the most site traffic? What time of day or night might our posts be the most or least popular or engaging? How long does it take me or my team to respond to posts? These are important things to know, as they have the potential the build up or break down our brands.

Scheduling content is, of course, a huge plus when you've got 10, 12, 15 different posts across multiple platforms to help keep your audience involved and engaged in what you're doing. It's also super helpful for people and businesses that are very busy outside of their online content, and may not have a dedicated social media team to lighten the load.

Cons: The Android app can be very slow to load at times. It could be just me, but I'm usually on wifi and have a flagship Samsung that hit the market a year ago. It also gives me trouble sometimes when I'm posting to Instagram via Hootsuite and I check my posts via the actual Instagram app, and the Hootsuite Instagram post won't be there. Weird stuff. I should add that in these instances, I am using the 'Post Now' option, and not scheduling posts for a future time. Could be user error, but if it is, I think this may suggest that when it comes to posting to Instagram through Hootsuite, the process isn't as easy or straight-forward as it could or should be.

Pros: There are just too many social channels to maintain (company branding, marketing, communications, sales, and support uses). HootSuite simplifies the management of these social channels to save our Social Media Manager (and staff) a lot of time updating the profiles, posts, shares, photos... etc.

Analytics! Numbers to back up any of our social media efforts are crucial for calculating ROI and supporting our request for management funding. The graphs and reporting features are intuitive, with just one glance one can analyze the performance, track customers / clients that need attention, and see which campaigns are doing well (and those that are not).

The Dashboard presents you a complete set of social media tools (all major social media channels supported). This is really worth it in this millennial digital era!

Cons: Don't be too easily swayed by the initial asking price... you'd eventually realize that for additional power-ups/extras you will have to shell out the additional payment (which eventually add up).

Also, just one comment on the UI... it seems pretty outdated in terms of looks which might turn off some users who are aesthetically sensitive (like myself). :)

Overall: Social Media presence is important in this millennial age. HootSuite makes managing your social presence (profile, posts, shares, etc) a breeze and streamlined across all major social media channels.

Pros: It is a software that is very easy to use and is useful all the time. I make many publications in real time on various social media platforms and before that I would have to have more than 5 tabs open to access each social media account. It is extremely functional, efficient and changed the way I viewed social networks, so my point of view is much more focused on my own organization and its objectives. Scheduling publications in advance is a great time saver. The report panels are fantastic to show customers the value of the social. I also love the functions to track a hashtag in a separate transmission , Another opinion that I like about the Hootsuite software is an accurate team of reports and analysis and fast customer support.

Cons: Programming my first social publications as the first time counter became instantly difficult because I did not have the opportunity to do any kind of tutorial. The initial stages were really just me guessing how to program things.

Overall: With Hootsuite, we can program it and not have to worry about it being published in a timely manner. It is also great to re-analyze the analyzes over time to see what types of content and what times of day work best for our company and the commitment of our audience.

Pros: Hootsuite makes creating posts once and sending to multiple social media sites a breeze! Scheduling and attaching files is also easy. I wouldn't do them much justice if I also didn't add that the mobile app is just as easy as the web version! Setting permissions based on other users is a great function for teams where posts need to be approved. The free version may also work great for your needs depending on your limitations. Being able to see all streams from the web makes it easy to view all social media sites and make sure they're up to date. Responding to posts is also easily done from the dashboard. Lastly, there are tons of tools available from the dashboard to add to your account making it a one-stop shop!

Cons: Would like a way to schedule a long post for Facebook and allow a hidden character or combination of characters (maybe like, /&/) to allow a break for Twitter so the user doesn't have to create one long post for Facebook and 2-4 different posts for Twitter. Would like a way to receive an email of sorts when all posts are posted as sometimes (very, very rarely) are some not posted.

Pros: Hootsuite has been my ideal software for the management of Social Networks. Thanks to this program I can expose quite enough any person who so wishes, complying with excellent quality standards thanks to its benefits that I will mention them below:

-It can add a significant amount of social networks in the software, allowing me to monitor and expose the client quite acceptable.

- Its column system is quite functional to visualize and evaluate profiles of facebook, twitter, instagram, LinkedIn, without losing details when having to alternate between several browser windows.

-Incorporation of comments within a review, retweet, so that the idea you want is better projected

-Programming of automatic messages in the same social network

Cons:

One of the problems I find when using Hootsuite is that I can not see the people who retweet my posts or tweets, to solve this, I must have a twitter session open with the Hootsuite. In the same way I think that this detail can be improved by this company.

Overall: Hootsuite is software that I would remember with my eyes closed. Although it is not a perfect software, it is one of the most complete since it combines several social networks in a single interface, propelling the user in an excellent way.

Pros: Hootsuite is incredibly easy to use and even the free package offers a number of highly functional tools. I am able to easily monitor my own pages, upcoming posts and conversations mentioning my brand without or without my handle. I am able to follow other pages that offer content for me to share as well. The content creation and scheduling function is easy to use and allows me to do most everything I want. It is great that you can now post to Twitter.

Cons: It is frustrating that there is no handle drop down function for Instagram. With Twiter you can type the handles directly in the Hootsuite post scheduler and it will give you options to select from in a drop down. With Instagram you must go to Instagram, find the handle and type it perfectly in the message within hootsuite

The good thing is you can test the links in scheduled Instagram posts to ensure it has been typed correctly. I don't like that you cant just retweet without a comment, at least in the free version. While I usually do comment there are some instances where I simply want to retweet. Setting up stream is a bit difficult to get the hang of but once you do it is easy enough. I sometimes find it hard to narrow down on the exact conversation I am looking to track but overall pretty straightforward.

Overall: Easy to use. Good value. Lots of tools and functions. Allows you to schedule Instagram which is a time saver.

Pros: The ability to manage several accounts and have several tabs open at the same time to monitor many social streams, is obviously handy and exactly the purpose of this software. It is largely intuitive, not particularly difficult to set up, and fairly customizable. If this is the only program that you have access to, for managing several social accounts, it's not too bad.

Cons: There are times when you might need to be logged into a number of different Twitter accounts, or other social accounts. This is where this software becomes frustrating and annoying. What you can be logged into is very limiting, because you can only have, for example, one Twitter account linked up at one time. I have managed multiple Twitter accounts, and you can't be logged into those, you have to pick only one. I would think the technology should be available to be able to log into as many accounts, on each platform, as you might need. HootSuite is OK, but that's all I would say I would much rather use the native platform, which gets you better analytics anyway.

Comments: I wish you could schedule to Instagram from the desktop app, but I realize that's a shortcoming with Instagram itself and not Hootsuite.

Pros: Very robust features--ability to search for mentions of your company or any topic to get involved with people and meet new followers, ability to see comments on facebook ads and respond in the app, the ability to respond to anything sent your way on your social media all in one place, bulk scheduling with spreadsheets, ability to manage many platforms at once, and more. I love Hootsuite.

Cons: The main con is that I wish Hootsuite had scheduling features like Buffer. Buffer allows you to setup a schedule rather than having to post everything manually, and it's super easy to recycle posts. For example, Buffer will tell you when the best posting times are either set up a posting schedule for you based on your desired frequency, or allow you to set one up (like post on facebook at 3PM every Tuesday and 10am every Friday etc.). Also, buffer's chrome extension will pull images in addition to the URL, and I wish Hootsuite did the same.

Pros: When they were a smaller agency their business model was extremely customer service focused. They were responsive and easy to get ahold of. We used them for posting content to multiple platforms. It was pretty straightforward, you didn't really need to read up on how to use it.

I also liked the ability to break content streams out based on what you may be listening for. This worked especially well when there was an event going on and you wanted to get real time responses and engage with people.

Cons: After they grew to an enterprise sized company their customer services drastically declined. It was no longer an "small family boutique" feel. They were hard selling and their prices quadrupled for their base product. A great deal of the features that would have made it a complete and robust platform you had to buy additionally. There are other platforms that offer their base package + many more extras for a fraction of the price. While we would have loved to continue on with them, we just outgrew each other.

Pros: I have been using Hootsuite for a few years now. I am on a paid plan, as I have many social media accounts to manage, but I also have a couple of clients who use the free version and I am very impressed with what they are able to do on the free plan. The bulk upload took a bit to get used to how to create the spreadsheet properly, but it has been a lifesaver ever since!

I really like being able to interact with my Twitter accounts right in the Hootsuite dashboard. I have many lists set up on Twitter and Hootsuite makes it very easy for me to interact with them. The calendar view is helpful as I can easily move posts around if I have to.

Cons: I wish the free plan would allow for more social media posts to be scheduled at one time, as I like to plan out and schedule the bulk of my social media posts at the beginning of the month. The limit on scheduled posts has me using other services in conjunction with Hootsuite to get around this.

Overall: I save a lot of time with Hoostuite and it gives me peace of mind.

Pros: I am so glad I discovered this app. I like Hootsuite because it helps me manage all social media accounts for my company in one dashboard. Instead of logging in to each social media account independently, I only log in to Hootsuite and I can access all the social media accounts. Hootsuite also allows me to mass post on the social networks. Like I can write one post and post to different social media accounts.

Another awesome thing about Hootsuite is the ability to schedule posts ahead of time. I find this feature very useful. This feature helps me plan my future posts in a single sitting ahead of time. I then schedule when I want the posts to go out. This helps me be more productive and keep my social media accounts engaging with fresh content and also helps save time.

Another thing I like about Hootsuite is that the tool is free of charge. Yes, there is a premium version, but if you don't have the budget for that, you can still use the free version which is also pretty awesome.

Cons: A challenge with Hootsuite is that it can be quite overwhelming when you start out. The interface has numerous activities and components which can be overwhelming if you are just starting out with the application.

Another challenge is that Hootsuite can be quite expensive for an organisation if the company has many users. The price increases per user in the premium version of the application.

Overall: Hootsuite is a great application for managing social media and helping you stay productive and save time.

Pros: The best is a new feature that allows you to send notifications directly to instagram. This means that now I can easily send to three channels, which I use mainly from one part of the software, and not from two. I also like easy-accessed tabs and streams, especially if you can see things related to one basic word. I like the HootSuite blog, because it gives a lot of free recommendations, and the HootSuite Academy is very useful. Saving time - one message is sent to three platforms. Scheduling messages does not necessarily have to be on the computer for publication at the preferred time. Preservation of drafts for use as evergreen materials or changes for any platform. The probability of listening in a social relationship is what society says about the products of my customers

Cons: I wanted the mobile application to improve the interface. You can basically post a post or post a message from the computer, however I feel that the mobile application can be more functional.

Pros: Hoot suite provides a handy tool to schedule your software. It also helps you manage your social channels by monitoring, posting and handling tasks within a team. It is even best suited for remote working team. Its free version provides limited features but if you will buy its pro version, you will plenty of options. What i liked about the interface is, I can see all social media channels in one area and I can edit current and future posts right there. I use this to schedule my tweets and get my customers engaged. It is always easy to do so, so you can quickly see when customers comment, like, or retweet your posts.

Cons: It is very expensive to use it for the team. You need to pay some more bucks for analytics report. I also didn't like the way it forces us to use Owly link shortner. And if you need a custom link url, again pay more bucks. It doesn't provide you facebook image thumbnail preveiw, so you can't guess how your image post looks like unless and untill you post it on the facebook. I have lso notice that my facebook page is not showing much engagement after using hootsuite.

Overall: It helped me and my teammates automating our social media tasks. SO in the end, hootsuite saves our time. It also provides us RSS feed integration, blog, wordpress post scheduling features. Overall, hootsuite has helped us scheduling our social media task easily.

Pros: What I like the most about Hootsuite software is the possibility of saving time, managing the different social networks that I use from the same platform. At the same time, the function of automating the posting of messages at different times of the day allows me to be active 24 hours a day without the need of having my smart phone in my hand. It is a great work tool.

Cons: I think that Hootsuite is more directed to the social network Twitter than to Facebook when interacting with users. That subtracts a little the ability to interact in real time. With Twitter I can post and give RT automatically. With Facebook I can not program answers to my users.

Overall: Thanks to Hootsuite, the number of followers that I have in the social networks that I manage has risen like foam. What allows the impact of a social network account among the audience is the ability to keep it always active. Sometimes, due to the dynamics of my work, it lasted hours without publishing, since it was difficult for me to access my account from my smartphone due to time constraints. Today I have someone to do it for me.

Pros: My favorite feature of Hootsuite is its general purpose - the scheduling. One of the best ways I've learned to keep content interesting is to create posts based on trends and upcoming holidays. On Hootsuite, I can plan those out all at once and have a calendar of posts that will go out at a later date. I've scheduled posts up to a full month ahead of time and was able to focus on other projects while Hootsuite posted for me. It's a great way to maintain your social media presence when social media is only one part of your job. There's also a great analytics feature withing Hootsuite that allows you to see how much activity/engagement you had each month. This helped me to compile a monthly social media report and understand which types of content generated the most engagement.

Cons: The one thing that I dislike about Hootsuite is using it for social media platforms other than Twitter. It works very well for scheduling tweets, but posting to Facebook or LinkedIn is very awkward. Another things is that even with scheduling tweets, you cant send out a post with a photo. When the tweet is published, the photo will show up as a link that your followers and visitors have to click to see the photo. That forces me to send tweets with photos in real time and defeats the purpose of using a scheduling application.

Pros: We manage multiple social media accounts for multiple clients and we had to hire another team member to manage them all. We finally found Hootsuite and it cut the time spent in half. We were able to schedule posts ahead of time, shorten links, and see at-a-glance what was happening with each account. Hootsuite is worth its weight in gold. We even tried a few others, like Buffer, but always came back to Hootsuite because of the UI and features, including a Chrome extension to be able to post while not in Hootsuite, say if you were browsing the internet and came across something perfect to post but you weren't actively logged in to Hootsuite.

Cons: We had two small issues. We couldn't get decent reporting and analytics unless we upgraded to a more expensive plan and we would occasionally lose our connected accounts, forcing us to go through another verification process. If you have international clients, this becomes an issue because of IP addresses. But once everything was connected, it was smooth sailing.

Overall: We were able to cut our time spent on posting to social media in half!

Pros: I have used Hootsuite exclusively to manage my multiple social media accounts - primarily Twitter (multiple accounts), Linkedin, Facebook (multiple accounts) and Google+. For its purpose, it sports a relatively easy-to-use user interface that makes it easy to use and see all your social media accounts from a single web page. This alone is worth its price, rather than having multiple webpages and/or web browsers which can make things messy and convoluted. Another big win is its Hootsuite has well-developed mobile apps on Android and iOS make it easy to use on the go.

Cons: I used the free version of Hootsuite for about 6 months, then decided to subscribe to the Pro version for about another 6 months, and finally decided to stop using it as it is rather pricey. The paid version provides analytics/reporting of your social media stats which can be useful depending on your profession (e.g. if you are in marketing and manage your company's social media image). For a standalone user like myself I have decided to stop using it as I have not found it to be worth the money.

Pros: In general it is one of the most complete and necessary software for business and professional management of social networks, its interface is very simple and its versatility is very complete, besides the integration to almost all common platforms of social networks makes it much easier to manage from a single application.

Personally, I'm a fan of this software, it's the best I've seen in all my years of experience, I recommend it 100% and without saying that they have Hootsuite University where they teach and certify professionally in the handling of this software.

Cons: Many complain about the monthly price of this software, but it seems to me that it is a reasonable and reasonable price for all the functions it has.

Overall: Having a software that includes everything you need for your social networking work is the best you can have when you manage many accounts in different social networks, their analysis is very complete and that saves you a lot of time.

Pros: I like the fully customizable dashboard for social management. It makes it easy to efficiently monitor multiple channels or aspects of a particular social channel in one place.

The bulk scheduler has saved me so much time. I load in weekly and monthly csv templates and the posts are ready to go very, very quickly.

When I've needed customer support, they've been very responsive and work with me to resolve the problem.

Overall, this software is a daily staple in my business and one that saves me a lot of time!

Cons: This is more likely a technical glitch in the platform rather than a draw back of the software, but on a few occassions I've run into issues with the bulk scheduler scheduling duplicate posts into the schedule. This requires me to go back and manually delete the duplicates which is a little annoying.

Overall: -Saves time

-Easy-to-use

-Easy social channel monitoring

-Quick and easy responding to follower questions

Comments: I would love for it to be paying attention to when my audience for each channel is online and suggest when to post content. Since I have multiple clients, it's hard to keep it straight whose audience is online on which days and what times. Reporting is not very helpful. Tell me the top 1-3 things I can do to improve performance. What were my top 5 posts so I can continue to do what's working without having to dig into Facebook's overwhelming analytics. What other channels should I be watching based on the category of business? It doesn't do much in terms of justifying ROI to non-marketers.

Pros: As a marketer that consults with multiple realtors, this is a key tool for me to stay ahead of the game when it comes to social media marketing. I can follow multiple channels and see what content is getting the most traffic, which makes planning a week's worth content much easier. I can also like and comment on content from on behalf of clients from the interface instead of needing to be in Facebook to do so.

Cons: It can get pretty glitchy at times when it's trying to pull up the link preview, which definitely slows the entire process down. Toggling between views can also be a drag. Tagging users and brands usually breaks the page. And when the tagging functionality DOES work, the thumbnails are so small that it's hard to confirm whether you are tagging the right person or not.

Pros: I love how easy it is to schedule into the future across platforms. The free version of Hootsuite suits the needs of most of my clients, and the paid version offers even more insight into performance and features. I use the new Beta version to preview how links are going to look on Facebook and Twitter which is really helpful.

Cons: The free version used to have more capacity but is now limited to 30 messages across all platforms. The introduction of Instagram publishing was really helpful but the glitches have not yet been worked out and I run into a lot of issues with photos not posting even though the account is synced. I'm hoping this issue is resolved in time. Preview of photos no longer occurs in the main platform, it is only accessible in Beta testing version.

Overall: I have used the free version to schedule posts for my clients for several years and it has made my life so much easier!

Pros: I love that hoot suite allows you to schedule all of your social media posts. It allows you to combine Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and schedule posts for all of them at the same time! I was struggling to maintain consistency in posting to our social media platforms, but hoot suite helped to simplify that. I also love that it allows you to monitor each social media site in one place. I can create different tabs of my choosing. For example, on one screen I can see what Facebook messages, Instagram comments, Facebook comments and re-tweets. Rather than switching from one website to another, I can view everything at one time. I highly suggest using their app.

Cons: This is the best tool I've found for scheduling post to Instagram. However, there are a few more steps to get the image published to Instagram and it doesn't happen instantly. Hootsuite sends me the notification, but I have to manually publish it. I'm sure this has more to do with Instagram and less to do with hoot suite.

Pros: They give me a bunch of features for running my non-profit more effectively and efficiently. One of the coolest aspects that they offer is the ability for me to post my different social media accounts at different times. This saves me a ton of time and then I never forget. I'm able to schedule out far in advance, so if I have a big announcement that I won't be releasing for a few weeks, I can write it, figure out the best time to post, then have it ready to post in the Queue awaiting the day; and I can get that off my mind entirely.

Cons: Hootsuite feels a bit dated for me. I've been using it a few years and am very familiar with everything they offer. Maybe it's just because I'm familiar with the platform, but I feel they have the opportunity to really help businesses and people grow their following, beyond what is made available by them. I don't really know what that x-factor may be, but I know it's missing it.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's a great platform. Give it a try and you won't have to spend a dollar. If you think it's a great fit for you and your needs, then great! If not, then no harm no foul. If you're not very familiar with the whole social media management thing, then you can look at their academy or just general help posts and blog articles. It was great for me as I didn't really know too much about the social media game!

Pros: Integrate the main social networks in a single dashboard (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Pinteres and others), you can see what happens in the world of networks easily. The programming of content is very easy, you write the content, you upload the images and then you select the date and time in the calendar. This will send you an email when the content is published. The Bulk Composer allows you to upload content programming in bulk from a CSV document, and then allows you to edit them. The assignment of messages is a very useful tool in a large organization where the manager must approve the contents.

Cons: It is an excellent software. Images are not supported when loading content in the Bulk Composer. The free reports are very basic. It is a little complex to use message assignment.

Overall: Positioning your organization in social networks is difficult, but with Hootsuite it is very easy. Making an advertising campaign is very simple thanks to the content programming tools and the analysis reports.

Pros: Hootsuite has some great features if you're someone who needs either a really quick glance - or a really in-depth dive into what's happening on their social channel. You can set it and forget it if you'd like - you set up several social posts to publish on a schedule. This is great for a business owner or social manager who doesn't want to post to social accounts every day. You have the ability to set up many feeds on your dashboard, which is nice if you need some basic information. It's good to give you a snapshot of what's happening across social accounts in one place.

Cons: There are three main cons I've found within the system which keeps me from being a regular user. 1) You can't tag people or mention people within the system anymore due to "privacy" concerns or something. Most of what I post I like to tag other users, so this doesn't work well for me. 2) I've also found it a bit difficult to use the feeds well. You're pretty limited in the information that shows up in the feed because the filtering options leave something to be desired. 3) Platforms like Facebook allow you to use many of the same functionalities these days, so it can be easier to just jump on the native platform.

Pros: I am the social media manager at my organization, and having one place where I can manage all of my social media accounts has been heavenly! This program does take some getting used to, but once you know your way around, it is a breeze to use. Being able to schedule and automatically send your posts on a variety of platforms has made my job so much easier. I would recommend this software to anyone who manages social media accounts. I also love how they have metrics and analytics for each of your social media accounts. I love being able to see our engagements for each account, on each post.

Cons: It did take a while to have the automatic posting to instagram, but once that feature became available, it has been very helpful! I do have to say that navigating the software is a bit confusing at the beginning stages, but it does get easier with use.

Overall: I am able to spend less than half the time scheduling and posting on my social media accounts. Without Hootsuite, it would take me forever to schedule and post to each of our social media accounts. Now, I carve out an hour or two a week where I am able to plan, create, schedule, and post all of our social media posts for the week. I also love the team feature where you can add other people to help manage your accounts. This way, I can delegate different posts to other people, and we can all access the same management page. This software is definitely worth it!

Pros: The platform is easily customizable to view only the things I need to view. I am able to create multiple tabs with different streams so that I can quickly bounce back and forth and see things I have scheduled to post, what has been posted, incoming messages, etc. They have simplified the entire Facebook platform into one place so there is no more need to bounce back and forth between pages. Almost anything I can do on Facebook, I can do from Hootsuite, and more! The reporting and analytics provided are also great! I like that I can customize reports to see exactly what I want to see. Again, no more bouncing back and forth between pages to see data for each page and metric that I am looking for.

It has also resolved our inability to help our agents post to their LinkedIn pages.

They also offer a great academy and certification exams that are industry recognized. I definitely recommend taking the Hootsuite Platform course at minimum to really learn all that the program is capable of.

Cons: The only thing that I can think of that I would like to see available would be the ability to link Google My Business pages. (Not Google+, Google My Business.)

Overall: Since using Hootsuite, we are now able to keep fresh content on the social media pages of our agents that otherwise would not have the time. We all know how important social media is to a business and Hootsuite now makes it an option that we can interact with our followers and engage potential customers more easily than ever.

Comments: There's a free version you can test this out with. If your business heavily relies on a social media push then this might be an ideal program for you but in any case, you can always try the free version and play it by ear. I still use this but scaled down to the free version after testing the Pro version because social media isn't a huge factor in my business.

Pros: Inexpensive. Works with all the major social media platforms. You can set up auto-posting, which saves A TON of time. You're able to see/manage your social media accounts from different platforms on one screen. Analytics provided are nice too to gauge what efforts are working.

Cons: It is not very intuitive. The free version is pretty easy and straight forward but once you add more social media platforms for your business to manage under this, it can get costly and even a bit messy. There are a ton of features and capabilities but that makes the page crazy once you have half a dozen being managed. The app crashes often too once you get to 5-6 social media platforms.

Pros: Hootsuite is a wonderful way to quickly view and engage across all of your social media accounts. It takes a minute to get used to the layout, but once you catch on, it is very user-friendly. The company is also always innovating, recently making it easier to post to Instagram via their platform.

Cons: I have had the most trouble using the platform for Instagram posts; but the most recent fix makes it less clunky. One issue that still seems to exist is you can't post more than one picture to a post/tweet, etc. using the platform as it will just duplicate the post/tweet instead of attaching 2 photos to the one post/tweet. That can be annoying.

Overall: I've had Hootsuite for a very long time, and I like seeing everything in one spot. However, I think if I had to cut expenses it would be one of the first things to go. Not essential but helpful.

Pros: It is true that we all are associated with so many social sites, and sometime it becomes hectic to keep a track all together. Cons: Not really, but feels little expensive, specially the analytics reports, and customizing the url, but overall a good experience Go for it! :)

Pros: Currently, I use Hootsuite in my meetings as editorial coordinator to enhance each of the editorial lines we design in order to present a product with excellent quality standards, complying with sufficiently solid and accepted communication and audiovisual standards.

Hotsuite allows me a function that no other program can do, which is to link several of the accounts in Social Networks in a single panel to be managed at my convenience, in turn, I can also make scheduled publications, necessary to expose in the best way possible my product, taking into account the hours of amyor influx of users who observe our post.

It is an innovative software like few others, you must use it and you will notice how easy digital marketing is.

Cons: I can not give bad references of this software, and I say this because since I use it I have only noticed good and beneficial things for our editorial line, and that is not what each of our clients and brands that we have projected have made known to them. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed with that decision

Pros: They offer an endless variety of features on how to better and more time efficiently manage an array of social media accounts. As social media continues to get larger and larger with new players in the market practically every day, you have 2 choices, higher someone to manage your entire social media strategy and spend every hour of the work week posting things - or - get a utility like hootsuite to easily let you share the best you have to offer to every social media medium all at once (or even spread throughout the day as I preferred to do) They do a great job of making sure everything is easy and straightforward to use. For those who aren't as privy to the digital age, they offer free courses on social media management and a hootsuite certification (a bit useless for me, but I could see how some people would benefit largely from it)

Cons: They really offer quite a bit of features so there's isn't much to dislike, but if I were to nitpick Hootsuite, it would be around their website design (User interaction and experience) and the lack of advanced analytics. While I understand hootsuite was never meant to be an analytics service, there are many other services that offer a little less on the social media management side, and a little more on the analytics. Depending on what you're looking to use Hootsuite for, this could mean nothing to you (if you already have analytics for your posts or if you are just a social media celebrity and you don't plan on marketing products to people)

Recommendations to other buyers: If you only have 1-3 social media accounts, then Hootsuite may not be for you. Use Hootsuite if you can determine you'll save valuable time by using another service to easily push out updates across your platform. As the number of accounts you have grows, so does the time it takes to manage all of them. This is a great tool to maximize your social media efficiency, but don't think it can do everything!

Comments: I really like using Hootsuite to schedule all the posts I need to publish for the day on all our social networks from one place. There is no limit in the posts you can schedule per day, it's very easy to schedule them for the entire week too. You can have several channels and create reports to check the results of your posts. It's a very good app for a community manager!

Pros: User friendly and great university to learn how to use it.

Cons: Sometimes for no reasons some of your scheduled posts cannot be sent, fortuntaley you get an error message and you can send them manually. I'd say every week, I have a bug with one scheduled post and I need to send it manually, so I need to check if all my posts correctly went through at the end of the day or check my emails for error messages. Not happening that much but still, it is annoying.

Recommendations to other buyers: Enroll for the university, it's worth it.

Pros: I like the proactive nature of the customer support, and the great features that Hootsuite offers. The ability to schedule messages in the future and upload a CSV of hundreds of tweets at a time is awesome. I also like the geolocation features!

Cons: I hate that they took away suggestions. This was the biggest pro about Hootsuite and they completely removed it! It gave you the ability to put in keywords and then it suggested relavant articles that your audience may like based on their keywords. I asked about why they removed it and I guess no one was using it (probably because they never marketed it and it was hidden/hard to find) and pointed me in the direction of a paid integration that doesn't even come close to how well suggestions worked.

Comments: Hootsuite is absolutely critical if you hope to effectively leverage social media for your company / personal brand.

Pros: Hootsuite allows you to plan ahead and reap the well deserved time off of social media. If you have a goal to make revenue through social media this is a must. Additionally, if you want to find customers through social media, Hootsuite allows you to schedule all your posts so you can focus on interacted with future clients.

Cons: Until you are making money or finding clients through social media, the concept of paying for post automation will seem funny. There is a free version that is limited to only a few social media accounts (3 if I remember right), but I guess this con is just your fear that you won't receive a return on your investment.

Pros: Easily streamline your outgoing posts with a schedule and easy to navigate posting calendar. Before Facebook rolled back the access that 3rd party apps could have it was a great way of monitoring different accounts on different platforms. This is something I miss incredibly.

Cons: The biggest motivation I had to find a replacement for Hootsuite was the lack of analytics on my posts. I went with Sprout Social and granted there is a sizeable price difference, but the lack of valuable reporting and analytics is worth the extra money for the time it saves me from having to manually measure and analyze raw data.

Overall: It was a useful tool for me even after moving to Sprout, but once Facebook yanked the ability to view accounts it is a platform that has no value to me anymore.

Pros: The features of Hootsuite blew away the users some years ago - it was all we wanted - we can handle multiple clients & social channels from one interface and multitask as well. The post schedule feature was my favourite when it was launched. There are many more alternatives now, but Hootsuite still remains my favourite. The team settings and collaboration possibilities make things easy for the organisation to work and execute complex ever-changing Social Media Campaigns. The recent addition of AdEspresso - the tool to build &

test Facebook Ad Campaigns, creatives & targeting at scale is a welcome addition.

Cons: The features pale as basic stuff like a data & analysis dashboard are missing in this day & age of data & analytics. Would love to see more channels being added to the bouquet then it stops us from going elsewhere to handle one single new channels which is doing well & clients want to be part of it. So would expect that new channels are added quickly - may be in a beta format - so that we can start with the basics at least.

Overall: SMM doesn't go without it

Pros: The cost of the service is adapted to the requirements of the users, from offering the possibility of managing ten social profiles by a user to the management of a team of three people from the communications area of a company to the management of social personnel superior teams . marketing.

The application is managed in a web environment and can be used for market research of a new brand, the management of social networks of the company and the main stakeholders in the business.

Hootsuite can establish trend analysis, search for defined phrases and associate them with the objectives of the campaign. It allows me to save time with the automatic organization of messages and topics that work, I can manage my agenda through a calendar that can be linked to the mail or other agenda programs.

The program offers very successful tutorial videos so that new users can quickly acquire the necessary knowledge to use the tool in a fluid way, in the same way that the interface allows it to adapt quickly to its environment. With this program you can quickly determine how the investment in social networks is recovered, in the process of searching for clients, allies and the disclosure of the company's products.

Cons: I recommend that you take seriously the test month, totally free, and evaluate if the platform suits you or not, there are other alternatives focused on fulfilling the requirements we have in the management of social networks, personally I consider it an excellent platform, with Hootsuite I feel that I have the necessary tools to maximize the potential of the company and its projects.

Being prudent is not an excess.

Overall: Hootsuite allowed us, on one occasion, to determine the strategic direction taken by a company that competes with us in several markets.

We saw the trend of social networks and the reaction of users towards the two brands, which was crucial for us; with these data we were able to carry out an agile offensive that placed us above the key points of the other company's advertising campaign, in those days we took the initiative and were able to establish ourselves in emerging markets with fragile market qualities

Pros: Hootsuite is super cheap. It's under 200 a month for a couple users and tons of social networks. It does a lot, from bulk scheduling, to listening and analytics. It's very easy to use and to set up.

Cons: Hootsuite has some issues with bulk scheduling. They try to prevent spamming, so they flag duplicate posts, even if they are going out weeks apart. This is on Hootsuite's end, not on the social network side. It's frustrating to have to break up bulk scheduling into multiple small batches. Hootsuite also has issues bulk scheduling to multiple networks at once, doing so can either end in an error, or publish posts that have no link previews. Customer support for these issues does not resolve anything. But it's so cheap!

Pros: One of the positive aspects to highlight of Hootsuite is the function that allows to manage in an automatic way what I post from my social network accounts. Usually in the evenings I program many of the comments that I will post the next day, which saves me time and allows me to always have activity in my accounts even if this meeting or covering some pattern in the street.

Cons: I think that Hootsuite could significantly improve the appearance of the interface. Make it more attractive from the aesthetic point of view and enrich it with other functions. It is a great software but I think it is somewhat limited in terms of some functions.

Overall: The biggest benefit that Hootsuite has given me is to considerably increase the number of users who follow me on my social networks. Keeping an account permanently active is what makes it attractive and makes it possible for a user to follow you. I openly recommend this software.

Pros: You can manage several social media accounts across a multitude of platforms. Working in social media, this is huge. I use Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & Google+ to promote content and Hootsuite's simple and easy to use interface make it so much more convenient than having to log into multiple social media accounts every day. Also being able to have multiple tabs open of different social media accounts/platforms takes up a lot less space on my internet browser.

Cons: I wish you could send a tweet out from multiple handles at once rather than one at a time. There can also be glitches when including someones Twitter handle where a box pops up and won't disappear and it blocks your text box.

Hootsuite provides a complete solution for users to post, engage, and monitor social media.

Pros: As a single user, I find Hootsuite to be a lifesaver. There are several social media management and publishing tools out there, but I've found Hootsuite to be the most consistently performing tool among them. It's easy to set up teams (if need be) and their payment plans are reasonable.

Cons: My dislikes have more to do with the constantly changing social media platforms rather than Hootsuite itself. Hootsuite helps keep me apprised of such changes, but sometimes the quirkiness and/or counter-intuitiveness of those changes is mind-boggling. Again, though, this is beyond Hootsuite's control and I've found them to be responsive to these changes, even if navigating them becomes a bit onersome from time to time.
