It has a lot of great features and is very useful for managing your social media profiles. As a business owner it would likely be more beneficial to upgrade. However, there are still some glitches that they need to work out. Pros The great things about this software is that it is compatible with a lot of platforms. You can use it with various social media sites such as; facebook, instagram and linkedin. I also have enjoyed that there is a free subscription; although very limited, it's nice that they offer this. Another great feature is that you can easily monitor all your social media pages and easily schedule posts and comments. Lastly, the analytics that they show you for your social media activity is useful for tracking traffic on your social media pages and posts. Cons While the free version is a great bonus it is greatly limiting. There is a lot that you will not have access to. Also, the auto-publishing feature is very glitchy and does not always go through, so you have to do it manually. Review Source JS James S. This is fully automated, and it is very easy to manage. Also, it saves a lot of time when changing accounts. Pros Hootsuite offers an excellent social network monitoring system, and allows us to manage lead engagement campaigns. Its function of analysis of the competition is excellent, because it allows to better manage sales strategies. Cons It does not offer an adequate system of analysis of metrics, and does not allow the user to monitor influencers. It also does not serve to segment audiences, and does not offer a sufficiently automated chat and messaging tool. Its nice to be able to pop out a few posts here and there. Pros I use the freemium version of this software. It is great to schedule out posts in advance and see interactions in the interface. Cons I do not like that now in the freemium version that I cannot schedule out more than 30 posts at a time. Could sit for a few hours and sort the entire plan for months in advance out, and then go on vacation and never have to worry. Save for a few errors it works like a dream. Pros How many apps it could integrate with, and how I could schedule posts months in advance. Cons It is a little too easy to accidentally send a post right away instead of scheduling it, even after setting a date in the future. The other great thing is at one sitting, I can set up my posts for all my sites - even using a different post for each site for the entire week and then scheudule them to go out when I like. Cons That I cannot post to instagram as easily as I can post to my other sm sites. While it only takes a couple of extra steps, it can be annoying.
